It has been about a year and a half since I have been fighting non-stop in the beast glades using my magic swordsmanship and the new skills I have gained. It's been an interesting year in which my development has significantly slowed down now my mana core broke through Mid Silver Stage its progressing nice and slow

I even managed to finally learn mirage walk finally after all these years of effort.

And now here I am, waiting for an Advenure team to be assembled and if I guessed correctly, this should be the dungeon with the elder guardian and it seems I am the first to arrive, I thought to myself as I sit down on a rock and let one leg rest freely and stick the other in the rock and also put my sword in front of me waiting with my mask.

The first to arrive after me was a very noble looking man. He wore white, metal armor that covered his shoulders and chest only, with a luxurious mantle flowing behind him. With trimmed blond hair and sharp hazel eyes, he seemed like a real lady-killer. To my surprise, he was a real gentleman and offered me a handshake and a rather innocent smile

When he said, "Nice to meet you, my name is Brald"

I shook his hand with a firm grip and simply replied

"Nice to meet you, I go by Lucifer"

"Why do not we introduce ourselves later when everyone is here?" he said as I gently nodded my head, not wanting to talk anymore.

After some time everyone was there except Arthur and Jasmin

As I stood there I thought about everything I had experienced so far, from a nobody to a silver stage quadra elemental mage with immense strength, speed and relfexes

So this will be my last dungeon as an adventurer. I thought I had only recently managed to reach the AA rank after doing these missions nonstop for all these years.

As I was lost in my thoughts I saw two people with mounts coming our way the others had not noticed yet so I did not say anything after about two to three minutes they arrived here

Lucas clicks his tongue when he sees Arthur coming towards us and adds

"I i guess we are stuck with more agumenters"

""Please don't mind Lucas and let me introduce you to the group. My name is Reginald Brooks, and I'm an A-class augmenter. I am an earth attribute yellow stage core that specializes in using a hammer. " He pointed to the huge warhammer lying on the ground where the group stood

the man had short, tangled brown hair that matched his eyes. His square chin, which was covered by a thick beard, coupled with his near-two-meter height and broad shoulders made for a very intimidating man.

Aside from me, there were quite a few aguments in this group Jasmine Arthur Brald Reginald

Kriol. A total of six agumenters

Kriol seemed like the Vigings in my old world, a water mage with a huge shield as a weapon.He had a larg belly, I could tell he was strong though, by how firm his body was overall despite his belly that squeezed out of his armor.

The next to introduce himself was Barld

"I go by Brald and just became an AA -class, light yellow stage augmenter. I am a fire attribute augmenter that specializes in the broadsword and shield. I'll be the one to lead us today. " He beamed shying away after looking Jasmine in the eyes

After him Elijah began to speak

"My name is Elijah Knight. A-class, dark orange stage conjurer... single specialization in Earth," he said tersely.

The next one was a smug looking man, his name has Olive if i rember corectly

"Ahem! I go by Oliver and I am an A-class, dark yellow stage conjurer. I am an emitter deviant, specializing in healing. " He stuck his jaw out smugly as he crossed his arms in content.

Then the other girl beside Jasmin started to introduce herself

"Hi. My name is Samantha, but you guys can just call me Sammy! Dark yellow stage, A-class conjurer with a single specialization in water, at your service!" She said.

Samantha looked to be around her mid-twenties and was an attractive woman, but by her attitude, I'm sure she was aware. She had wavy blonde hair that flowed over her shoulders and light blue eyes that seemed almost gray. Her eyes were large and round, making her look deceivingly innocent, and her petite size matched that fact well. The girl kept swaying her hips as she changed the leg she put her weight on, which attracted the glances of the men nearby; Oliver was especially fascinated.

Then Jasmin and Arthur introduced themself.

"Jasmin, light yellow stage, AA -class augmenter.

Wind attribute with dual swords," she said without batting an eye.

"Note, light orange stage, A-class augmenter. Fire attribute with specialization in sword," Arthur said impatiently

At that, everyone looked in my direction, waiting for me to say something, so I simply replied with.

"Lucifer, light yellow stage, AA - class, agumenter specialization in Greatswords.

They seem stunned at the little information I have given, but I will not say much since most of them are going to die today.

Brald began to laugh to lighten the mood when he said, "I am glad to have more than one AA class in the group.

As Barld took command, we got ready to explore the dungeon. This dungeon was classified as a AA -class, and Barld had found a new part of the dungeon when we entered, which was known as

"The Dire Tombs"

As we went in, the temperature dropped and it got significantly colder. This was not a problem for us, but if a normal person went in, they would die from the cold

As we descended, Barld began to tell us about this dungeon that is supposed to have undead mana beasts, which is really strange

Most people believe that they will find an articaft down here that can revive beasts.

And our first fight started when a bat-like monster with four libs came towards us. Barld told us that they are batrunners, while Barld ordered us not to waste our mana Lucas unleashed a fire spell as he burned most of the bats and leaving the others baldy injured we easly killed them

As Lucas and Barld were talking, to my surprise, the beast we had just killed began to reanimate and come back to life. What a fitting name, the dire tombs.

I thought to myself as we decided to ignore them and move on while Elijah conjured an earth wall to block the entrance so they could not follow us.

And just as we relaxed a bit, my instincts flared up when I sensed something coming our way. I rush infront of Samantha and stopped a metal spike aimed at her, cutting it in two as the sound of metal on metal was heard.

Even in the darkness, I could see Samantha's scared and pale face as she muttered a "thank you"

"Something is wrong, last time there were no traps," Brald said sadly, puzzled by the situation

"I do not think that was a trap, that was a mana beast" I said noticing the movements of the beasts.

"Everyone stay alert," Brald said as we prepared to move on, while Samantha stayed close to me.

Fortunately we reached the end of the hall without being attacked, the next cave was similar to the first but twice as big and littered with holes.

"Do not go near them, they shoot extremely hot gas streams as long as you are not in close proximity to the blast," Blard warned us.

as we scanned the area for the mana beast, I knew exactly what was going to happen.

And as if summoned, a large, worm-like beast appeared in front of us, but it did not attack us, just continued to make holes throughout the cave

"Was this beast there last time?" asked Kriol

Barld as he shook his head, losing the confidence he had as leader before.

"Are we just going to wait here and watch the worm dig holes, or should we move forward?"

Oliver said as he pushed Barld out of the way and fearlessly moved forward, perhaps to show of to Samantha.

just as he took another step, I grabbed his arm and threw him back while saying loud enough for everyone to hear

"Everyone set up a barrier as fast as you can I have already set up a fire barrier around us" as I gave the order the cave began to shake as a deadly gas was released from the holes that the worm was creating to kill us and we just waited.

Thank you to my warning, everyone was able to create a barrier to protect themselves as the gas slowly subsided.

When the gas vanished, we could see everyone was unharmed but very sweaty, while the idiot healer in the back was shaking, imagining that if I had not saved him he would be dead now

When everyone had calmed down, they started thanking me when Barld got up and grabbed the idiot healer by the arm and yelled at him.

"Let us go quickly before another explosion is set off, " I order them in a cold voice as I look at them clearly affected by this situation

"Lucifer is right, we need to hurry before another eruption occurs," our supposed leader said as we started moving halfway through the cave. Elijah asked me, standing behind me, "How did you know the cave was going to erupt?" while all eyes were on me, especially those of Arthur and Jasimin, who were waiting for my answer

"Instinctively I sensed the great danger that all and you should be grateful that you all survived and do not interogate me," I said in a cold voice

As the worm appears befor us shooting an acid shot at us

I charged forward and countered the worms' attack on us with my sword imbued with blue flames while muttering, "Impact blow"

The moment the worm's body came into contact with my sword I was able to cut through it with my physical strenght alone I did not even have to fight back as the monster's body shook and fell to the ground as the cave shook again from the impact

The beast was not strong it tried to delay us for another explosion I thought as I jump down and go in front of Jasmine while I created a barrier for us while Arthur protected Elijah and Kriel Lucas with his water agumented shield and they had red marks around their bodies

Brald lost an arm trying to protect Samantha and the idiot healer who died after I saved him with only bones and a gem left behinde.

As the gas subsided again, I took down my barrier when I heard Jasmine murmur a thank you behind me, and Arthur also nodded appreciatively.

As the smoke cleared, they saw the condition of that idiot man's body. It was not like anyone cared about him, but this idiot did not even try to protect himself, what an idiot I thought

Arthur takes the gem and throws it to Samantha.

Barld's sword lies on the floor, as the hand he was holding it with no longer exists. He grits his teeth as he puts the shield on his back and picks up the sword with his remaining hand. a

"Let us go," I said in my usual cold voice and everyone started moving as we reached the exit and entered another dim hallway that was much wieder than the last one

Samantha tore off part of her robe to bandage the wound on Barld's arm.

Looking around, all the faces had fallen, we were not even halfway through, and our idiot healer was dead and our leader badly injured.

" That's why I said to stay alert, Lucas," Barld lashed out on Lucas with good reason, because his career is probably over.

"Do not blame me, it was your fault that you could not protect yourself," Lucas replied and stood up

"Enough," Arthur said in a voice infused with mana as the two stopped

"Are you going with us or are you retreating?" he asked Barld

"This is probably my last dungeon, so I'll see it to the end," Barld replied.

"Lucas get a grip, this is not a game, you are just dead weight," Arthur said to Lucas who did not reply but continued to look at him.

"Samantha and Elijah, be alert, we need you to set up the barriers in time," he said

When we decided to rest there for a few hours to replenish our mana, Barld stood up and said, "Why does not Note becomethe leader?"

to which Arthur agreed, and we continued walking until we reached a metal door that had runes embedded in it, when Reginald tried to open it, and when the agumenter opened the door, he only said

"What in the..."
