Training and Hunting (Time Skip)

Several months had passed since Chen Xin started reading all the books outside the Divine Family. Apart from reading all the books, Chen Xin also took a walk around the city gathering information for the plans he was going to make.

There are still less than 3 years before the plot starts.

After Chen Xin made plans for his future, he first started buying all the Purple Haze Grass that was available in the market. He planned to stockpile it until Nie Li raised its price, before selling it. Of course, he was careful not to remind people, leaving enough for everyone to use. Chen Xin bought using his own savings and borrowed from his mother, he would also try to get out of Glory City to hunt down beasts and other treasures, if his strength was sufficient for adventure.

The second plan, he will study Alchemy at the Alchemy Association and apply to be a student there or become an Alchemist. Chen Xin would only register and publicly display his alchemical knowledge up to Junior or Intermediate Alchemist level. Chen Xin was also going to study at the Inscription Association to become an Inscription Expert, he was also studying to be a Forging Expert and everything he could learn before the plot started.

Several months had passed, when Chen Xin was 11 years old, Chen Xin made his own cultivation manual from scratch with the help of various manuals from the library. The cultivation manual he created was only temporary until he obtained the manual from Nie Li. The manual he created is called "energy mastery techniques" because every living thing and nature has energy, which makes this manual able to control the surrounding energy and be able to be absorbed.

Another year has passed, Chen Xin is now 12 years old. In these 2 years Chen Xin has always trained his body very tightly. He trains his physique to the limit that his body can withstand any pressure he uses and Chen Xin also trains his Haki and the Rokushiki Technique.

Chen Xin also didn't forget to train his soul force which previously only reached 99 soul force. Even though Chen Xin was more focused on training his body, martial arts techniques and mastery of his soul force, Chen Xin still practiced soul power after all. Chen Xin has currently reached 3-star Silver Rank, with a self-made cultivation technique. Every day when he had a break he would meditate and feel his soul force increase by several points.

Now that Chen Xin had reached Silver rank, he now possessed a 5-star Gold rank virtual type demon spirit, the Ghost Kijang. The Ghost Deer demon spirit had the same ability as Nie Li's Shadow Demon Spirit, its weakness was that it didn't have any powerful attacks. This was not the first time Chen Xin had a demon spirit, previously Chen Xin had used several demon spirits and replaced them.

The reason Chen Xin switched demon spirits was because the moment Chen Xin had integrated his demon spirit he immediately tried to use his demon spirit power, when he had tried all the techniques a demon spirit could do.

But a strange incident happened to Chen Xin when he finished from integrating his demon spirit from him, Chen Xin felt that he could use some of the techniques from the demon spirit he got without having to integrate the demon spirit with him.

Chen Xin doesn't know what he thinks is right or wrong, but Chen Xin will try what he thinks.

Chen Xin went back to buy some demon spirits to test what he was thinking.

When Chen Xin took out a demon spirit from him body, he immediately tried to see if he could still use the previous demon spirit technique. When Chen Xin tried it, it turned out that Chen Xin could still use his technique even though his strength was reduced a little and Chen Xin continued to replace his demon spirit.

After Chen Xin finished alternating his demon spirits, he came to the conclusion that Chen Xin could still use the demon spirit techniques he had extracted from him body. Chen Xin couldn't help laughing loudly in him excitement, he could use all of the demon spirit techniques he had ever integrated, except for those that required him to use in him demon spirit form.

Half a year passed in an instant, yet Chen Xin didn't spend it casually. After he found out about his new abilities, he went around buying several Silver rank, Gold rank and even Black Gold rank demon spirits, if they had abilities that caught his eye.

During this time he discovered other benefits of his new abilities. He could sense elements of the natural energy around (Chen Xin didn't know what he was learning was in the Law category or not).

Now Chen Xin can already distinguish between people's soul realm level, soul force rank, strength rank, integrated spirit beast and soul form. With this ability he could discern the demon spirits he needed, pursue quality over quantity and be used for any harm he might face.

The current Chen Xin had broken through to 1-star Gold rank, he now wanted to venture outside Glory City to hunt Beasts and get some treasures, because he had exhausted all the funds to buy Purple Haze Grass and him future needs.

After he left the borders of Glory City, Chen Xin first headed for the ruins where Chen Linjian and Nie Li's group would look for treasure. He had to be very careful along the way, avoiding the demon beasts surrounding Glory City not to change the original plot. Chen Xin was only hunting possible demon beasts

First he would go to the ruins where Nie Li went with Chen Linjian's group. It took him 12 hours to arrive at the excavation site where Chen Linjian's group found the treasure. Chen Xin used the Ghost Deer demon spirit to avoid the beast swarm.

Chen Xin looked for a place to start digging using his Observation Haki. Soon he found it and began looking for what he needed and filling his storage ring with treasure. After taking about 1/3 of the treasure he searched around the other tombs and found no other treasure.

Chen Xin couldn't take all the treasure as some had to be left for the expedition, so too did he leave the Netherworld Lights with Demon Spirit Shadow untouched. He didn't need that demon spirit because he already had the same abilities as that demon spirit.

When Chen Xin entered Nie Li's place where the coffin was closed, he only left it for Nie Li. Because Chen needs the main character to remain strong like the original story.

Chen Xin couldn't continue hunting for beasts and other treasures. Chen Xin departed early in the morning from Glory City and arrived at the ruins at midnight which was approaching morning. He could only spend the night in one of the ruins and rest to recover his strength and stamina.

When it was getting bright, Chen Xin continued his hunt, before leaving Chen Xin cleaned the tomb like before he entered the tomb.

A few days after Chen Xin came back after hunting Demon beasts and treasure hunts, the first thing to do was buy Purple Haze Grass. Then he gave various treasures to his mother, with the intention of auctioning them off.

Chen Xi's mother already knew that her son was a genius in all fields who had tricked everyone in Glory City into knowing that he had not broken through to Bronze rank.

Chen Xin told his mother when he was 11 years old, when he created the Cultivation Technique. Chen Xin gave a technique that was almost the same as his mother's soul nature and one that allowed Chen Xin to practice without his mother's prohibition.

His mother only accepted her son's request, because she did not want to limit the development of him dearest child. But Chen Xi could only ask her son to follow the agreement they had made together.

Now Chen Xin is back practicing and cultivating every day.
