Lucian looked up at Elvin and he knew there was no way that he would be winning this anytime soon if Elvin stayed up there.
Lucian had a short giggle. 'I don't why I got my hopes up so much. I'm still weaker than them. Though, it's only a question of time.'
"I give up. I can't win."
However, this wouldn't end here. Lucian wanted to participate and he would be participating. He had wanted to act like a two goody shoes, but that simply wasn't who he was inside.
The duel and everything stopped quite quickly.
"However, Ava will take my place." Lucian smiled when he saw how panicked Elvin looked.
The smirk that he had kept on his face during this entire time was nowhere to be seen anymore. He had been replaced by fear and worry. Elvin had been very confident in beating Lucian but Ava was something else entirely. There was no telling just how strong she was after all those weeks of training.
