The Elites

"Who is that?" Rou turns her head noticing her friend is pointing a finger at Roku.

"Who?" Akali asks since she was looking at her phone the entire time,.

"Over there, with Kai and Rex the guy with the ash blonde hair and green eyes not to mention he's dressed like a model and you can tell he's got the body of one too."

Akali rolls her eyes all her friends ever talk about is boys it's getting annoying. "You guys suck." She stands up walking to her room and catches Saito sneaking into his own room.

"What do we have here." She talks to herself taking the long way around going to his front door phasing past it catching him sneaking Setsuno in.

"Busted!"

Setsuno jumps up missing her with a round house kick his leg passing through her. "Oh shit, I'm sorry I didn't realize what I was doing." Setsuno apologizes his reaction was instinctive.

Saito smirks and slings an arm over her shoulder, "I think we found the final part of our plan."

Setsuno nods texting Roku the go ahead he grabs Akali by the forearm looking her straight in the eyes, "You're getting kidnapped and you're going to be a good little hostage and shut up do as we say or people are going to die."

Akali makes a sarcastic remark but their serious faces are making her uncomfortable and Setsuno's grip is too tight she can't even phase out of his hold she's been trying for a while now.

Kai and Rex are here to throw Jet off their trail. Izumi went on ahead to the hospital so it doesn't look as suspicious when the others arrive.

Ken and Yuno are surprised to see Izumi at the door when it swings open.

"I'm just here as extra security detail your secret service called me in for an emergency and I'm just helping out don't mind me." He puts up a barrier spell stopping any immortal from getting in before he leaves.

The rest of the plan is up to Roku and the boys.

Akali stands behind the school lab opposite the fence the boys plan to use as an escape with her two kidnappers waiting for Roku who's with Rex and Kai trying to find Chinami.

"Hey, where's your brother? We need him for something."

Namiko points them towards the sports field under the bleachers.

"I think we have ammo too, no ones allowed there at this time and I think Principal P is getting suspicious of us make it fast I'll stay behind in case he's wondering around and distract him if need be." Kai volunteers to stay behind.

Roku and Rex search the field for Chinami but they can't find him truth is they won't find him unless he wants to be found.

"What are you losers doing here?"

Rex smiles before he grabs Chinami by the back of the neck dragging him to a quiet spot.

"We need you to hack some footage for us and delete it whatever you see you cannot show anyone and if you do this for us we'll let you into our little crew or we kill you it's up to you."

Rex shoves Roku out of the way he was supposed to do the talking but they both don't trust the other to not say something stupid, "Look don't mind him, but what he's saying is true.

"We need someone who can clean up our messes without a trace and you're the only one that comes to mind. We know you want to join us and this is your chance, are you in?"

Roku gives him an even brighter smile wiggling his fingers if he doesn't help willingly they will make him, "Make up your mind."

Chinami nods and they drag him to his room, "So, Kai's sister is in hospital and we want you to help hide the footage of whatever happens there especially us I don't care who gets exposed just keep us hidden.

"First you need to hide the footage of us sneaking out of the campus. Don't make any recordings or we'll have your memory erased trust me we know a guy."

Kai walks into the room next to his and pays the guy to make illusions of them before he joins Setsuno.

Akali looks confused when the others meet up. Roku pulls out a stone waiting for Chinami's signal.

"We got the text, now."

Roku channels Akali's phasing into the wall allowing the boys to pass through leaving her with Saito who takes her hand sneaking away to Kai's room to have fun with the illusions.

"Thanks, you have no idea how much you just helped us out."

The wardrobe is frozen open and Akali shrieks when Snow walks out jumping on the bed relaxing. Xavier and Tori are still convinced it's hide and seek so they are both very quiet in their hiding spots.

Saito finds them and gives them a packet of chips while they talk to the illusions that are talking back. Xavier giggles when every time he tries to touch Kai he shifts and avoids his touch.

"You any good with keeping kids quiet?"

Akali shakes her head and Saito nods she takes out her phone and he snatches it, "No cell phones you're still kidnapped."

She rolls her eyes sitting on Kai's bed looking at the pictures of his family on the wall.

"He's a really cool guy, the first friend I made and well he and Rex are a package and I'm still sceptic about calling him a friend he has a bag full of weapons that could kill me."

Akali's head turns with so much speed and force she felt light headed for a second, "I always thought you were quiet, I literally thought all three of you were just the kind of guys who keep to themselves and are really cool and suddenly you turn up and now you're all girls talk about and …"

She turns her attention to Tori who lightly tapped her thigh, "Family eats together." He holds up the bag of chips and Akali's face scrunches up.

"Who the hell are you?"

"Bobo." Tori happily replies still holding up the bag of chips for her.

Xavier says his name and she stands up backing away.

"Not hungry?" Tori asks already looking sad and she shakes her head grabbing a single chip putting it in her mouth.

"I just don't like chips kid," She turns her attention to Saito, "Ken Tachibana's kids? You kidnapped Ken Tachibana's kids? Are you guys insane? I'm calling Mr P." She reaches for the door and he stands in her way growling down at her.

Akali takes a step back turning around and sitting down as Saito guides her.

"Stay cool we're baby sitting in our own way. I just need you to keep them in here and keep them calm don't let him touch you he can't control his power yet and do not especially piss him off." Saito points at Tori before he calls Chinami to check the progress of the others.

"They haven't made it to the hospital yet because I keep having to hack the traffic lights to give them space from this Jet guy, but he's fucking first." Chinami complains watching him take a short cut catching up with the group in the car.

"Duh, all of the cars at the second Palace are sports cars and you know Ken means serious business when he calls on the Road Junkies.

"He's a professional street racer and knows these streets like the back of his hand try something else to get him off their trail"

Chinami directs the boys to take the long way around and pass by the train station, "Hurry up, you guys have an open window of 20 minutes to do whatever the hell you want at the hospital starting now

"Meaning it has to be an in and out job and this detour cuts your time in half at the speed you're going."

Roku steps on it and maneuvers through the high way passing the cars and taking the original route, "No time for detours if it's a race he wants it's a race he'll get. I know a thing or too about street racing myself."

Snow picks up on the sound of water his instincts instantly tell him it's Yuno his tail splits startling Akali who jumps into Saito's arms.

"Calm down he's a pet not a monster I mean have you seen the owner."

Akali's attention is drawn to Tori sitting on the bed quietly waiting for Ken to come get them while Xavier is fast asleep.

Saito put him to sleep because he was getting restless and angsty sensing something wrong. He  feels a chill in the air that instills fear in the very core of his being.

Xavier wakes up in a panic attack startling Tori who starts to cry.

"Akali, take Tori and Snow and hide keep him calm and like I said don't piss him off. I'll hold him for you and we'll take him to your room he's after us if we leave he'll leave you alone." Saito can sense someone close by and the blood lust is too intense.

Melody watches as Kudesai stalks Saito she feels bad but making him the target of Kudesai's obsession makes her job much easier.

She's not worried about Saito she gave him something that will give him the upper hand even against the first witch.

Saito takes Tori and Xavier carrying them at the same time racing to Akali's room she opens the door and Rou is naked getting dressed she squeals at the sight of Saito who puts both boys on the bed trying to stay calm.

The overwhelming sense of dread suffocating him every now and then.

Akali notices his fight or flight instincts perk up his scales appearing and disappearing even a strong wind that seeps from his body unwillingly.

He looks Tori in the eyes ruffling his hair, "You need anything buddy?"

Tori shakes his head and he nods taking a deep breath before he speaks.

"Tori, we have to go but you have to stay with my friend. Kai will come get you I will come back for you, but Xavier is sick and I need to rush him to your aunty Kim please stay with my friend she'll take you and Snow to the pool and you can have fun with Snow, okay?"

He waits for a delayed verbal response from Tori before he grabs Xavier and stops in front of Akali by the door, "If he wants the moon give him the moon I don't care just make him happy and don't let anyone touch his dog he hates it."

Akali nods watching him run out of the door and transform into a full dragon flying out of the campus building his instincts taking him to the hospital. Xavier feels calmer flying next to Saito racing towards the hospital but he has a hard time keeping up.

Roku cocks a brow when Saito and Xavier arrive at the same time as them.

"Why are you here?" Rex asks because he was supposed to be at school to distract Principle P and make it look like they are all there and Xavier shouldn't even be here.

"You know you can't make it past the barrier and we're only going to temporarily disable it with the stone, why did you abandon your post?" Setsuno asks worried that Saito's random gust of wind is because of Izumi's spell.

"Something drew us here we don't know, but something bad is coming their all coming." Saito looks around he can sense trouble from every angle, something like his Spidey sense instead it's worse and the bigger the threat the louder the bell in his head or chill in the air.

Himawari slow claps for her Negai friend as she is arriving with Yuno's childhood teddy bear she stole from Yu's house.

"All the Immortals in the city are making their way to the hospital as we speak, how did you do it?"

He smirks, "I sent out a warning that tonight at the hospital a new type of Immortal will be born and they should gather around to sense it's power."

She gives him a questioning look, "Sense it's power?"

"Yeah, it's this I don't know how to explain, but there's something that Immortals can pick up from each other that tells you what type of immortal you're seeing or is around.

"You can sort of sense each other, but there's a technique that is taught to hide your presence from others.

"The child being unborn and the mother being human cannot hide its presence and once you two are linked they will sense it from a mile away.

"Drink this when I say so I can guarantee that one way or another they will drop the protection spell because it will do more harm than good and at the same time the little devil will be offed."

Himawari sits down happy about the good news, "I love being dead, it makes messing with people more fun."

Kim scoffs when she gets a phone call that Jet lost the boys and the school called saying that Saito just left after hours destroying the gate and shutting down the security system now she has to move Palace employees to the school as security until it's fixed.

"Dammit, what about Ken?"

"He called for extra security detail on Yuno in fact he's freaking out."

Kim called Maria who left her phone on vibrate completely missing all of Kim's calls, "Where are the boys?"

"I have Hitori with me and Saito took Xavier I was planning on getting him but Ken needs me there for Yuno specifically and I don't think I can ditch the kid." Tori is holding his hand ready to leave.

Ackerman takes Tori back to Akali, "All of you stay inside and keep him safe he's a sweet kid and he listens just don't touch his dog." Ackerman speeds off to join the boys waiting outside Yuno's hospital room while the protective barrier is down due to the stone of balance.

"What is going on here?" Ken asks the boys and Saito guides Xavier inside freaking Ken out even more.

Xavier climbs on the bed and gets under the covers with Yuno who fell asleep again.

"Get ready, I'm about to lift the spell."

Ken grabs Roku's hand before it touches Yuno glaring him down, "What the hell are you doing? What spell?"

Yuno winces and sits up grabbing her stomach, "OW! it burns Ken."

Roku pushes him out of the way putting his hand on her stomach holding the rhino pendent over her head absorbing the magic storing it in the necklace.

Himawari sits up from her seat as she sees a smile on her friend's face,

"Drink it now, I will fully disrupt the spell the minute you do all hell will break loose."

Himawari drinks from the white cup she is given and breaks it the second she's done the vile taste too bitter for her liking.

Yuno cries out in pain and Roku takes out the stones channeling the source of power inflicting harm on Yuno using this stone of Balance to send the spell back to its sender but it bounces back.

"Shit!"

Saito's ears perk up his head peeking through the door in a panic, "Shit? What do you mean shit?"

The other boys look at Roku confused since they didn't hear anything and Ken's attention is dragged somewhere else.

"She's linked to someone." Roku panics looking Yuno in the eyes Melody's spell is disrupted and Ken senses the child again every Immortal close enough senses the child and heads turn.

There was one specific detail in the message sent by the anonymous man who invited all the Immortals. To kill the child on sight.

Setsuno shoves Saito into the room and grabs Xavier, "You boys remember why we're here now?"

Kai nods remembering bits and pieces.

Setsuno covers Xavier in a blanket and ties him up in the mystical rope that he found in Rex's tool box, "I read this hides the presence of an Immortal so I grabbed two. Yuno takes one we take one and you guys stay hidden." Rex and Kai follow Setsuno while Roku and Saito stay behind.

Ackerman bumps into the boys and he uses his shield to guide them out getting in the car.

"They were spotted outside, black matted car with tinted windows follow them."

Roku, Ken, and Saito sigh in relief waiting for an opening to find Yuno since they moved her to a different room louring them to another.

"We'll handle Yuno but those boys don't stand a chance without you Tachibana you have to go."

Ken's head turns to Roku, "Since when do I take orders from you?" Saito twists the door knob Ken grabs him by the back of the neck and Roku freezes him in his tracks while still glaring at the other.

Melody opens the door and grabs Saito, "I'm borrowing him hurry up and unlink her from whoever is doing this I'm going to kill them." Roku recognises Melody and waves Saito off.

"What the hell are you doing hiding in here? Those boys are getting away." A vampire orders them to hurry up.

Ken and Roku stare at each other leaving the room assuming it's Melody's doing sneaking into Yuno's room.

"Can't you syphon yet?"

Roku shakes his head, "I thought with the pendent I could do it, but I failed."

Ken looks him in the eyes with desperation, "If you're afraid you can't handle the power I'll take it, but please just try."

Roku takes a deep breath holding Yuno's hand Ken takes a step back feeling the power radiating off of him. Everyone knows Roku practices everyday and he's never too busy for a spell but the amount of power radiating off of him at the current moment is ridiculous.

"No wonder you can't syphon you already have too much power bubbling inside you there isn't room for any more find a way to release it all."

He syphons Yuno's ability flooding the room with her healing water he doesn't know what he's doing, but at least like this Yuno will not  die and neither will the child.

Himawari feels something snap and she realizes the link is broken.

Izumi was watching from a crack on a roof squatting down trying to decipher the kind of spell in use he still has memories missing.

He invented these things he should know it off the top of his head it pisses him off that he's clueless. Izumi jumps in scratching the back of his neck.

"Hey, the link is broken what's going on?" Himawari asks unaware of the guest slowly approaching

Kai turns around and realizes only a few immortals are after them. "Guys, I think something is off at the hospital look up."

Ackerman turns back taking an underground route with a secret entrance into the hospital via the underground parking.

"Woah? How'd you know about that?" Setsuno asks looking surprised that such sketchy roads even exist.

"We have an inside guy for when races turn dirty, it's street racing not a car wash people die out there."

They open the door and the room is flooded. Roku looks around and starts freaking out he doesn't know how to stop what he started even after letting go of Yuno's hand.

She swims out of the room and finds Ken breathing air into his lungs taking the water and forcing it out through the windows.

She gives Roku a hug and a thumbs up pulling his hand into the next room seeing the man who was born without a full left-hand swim out of the room with one.

They swim up finally getting breathing room. "You're amazing Roku it's incredible what you can do."

Roku takes Yuno hand and looks her in the eyes, "How good is your acting?" Roku asks and she shakes her head.

"Terrible."

"That's good enough, Melody had a reason for casting the spell she did on the baby and I know I don't know her but I trust her intentions I know you hate lying to your family and it will be especially hard to lie to Ken because he will be devastated.

"I have a plan to put all this mayhem on hold."

Ken swims up and glares at Roku, "I'm not deaf I can hear you and why has the water stopped flooding out?"

Roku raises his hand, "I did it, I promise you no one in here will die except for one."

Ken looks into Yuno's eyes holding her hand. "Do it, the Sirens are approaching." Roku takes the pendent before cutting his hand and Yuno's chanting.

Ken is surprised to hear a gunshot and Connor approaches them.

"Roku you little shit, what's with the business of you using magic to enlist us for the Royal Council?"

Kai uses the water to push everyone in the direction of Connors voice. Roku opens his eyes and shakes his head.

"I'm not strong enough."

Izumi smirks when he finally has Himawari's partner in crime in his clutches and gives Roku a hand completing the spell on his behalf before he looks the Negai in the eyes and takes away his Immortality snapping his neck.

Himawari is already gone but that's the least of his worries if he's to be Emperor chaos like this should not stand meaning that one way or another he has to catch every last one of these immortals.

"I am King again I won't fail twice."
