Kaneko Sin

Sin gets on the bus going back to school early morning after the picnic.

"Did Kai say anything?" Rose asks since she heard him say he'll call when he gets home.

"Yeah, they bunked at Chinami's place he didn't enjoy yesterday at all."

Rose turns her head, "Really? Why?"

Sin tries to remember Kai's exact words so that Rose doesn't misinterpret anything she says, but she forgot, "Ugh, it's not all that complicated. His dad has been secretly living with another woman for some time and he didn't know that his family knew.

"I guess it eventually just became too big a secret for Chinami to keep bottled up because Kai mentioned his dad is a verbally abusive bastard who used hostility to mask his guilt and yesterday Chinami finally had enough and told his dad to leave them alone."

Rose crosses her arms, "Did he leave?"
