Chen Gu started making his way outside Whale City, as he was sure his Seventh brother would not allow him peacefully spend his days here. Chen Gu wanted to go to the Willow City, which didn't contain royalty as it was mostly mountains and such. Traditional villages were also many in number in that city. Chen Gu just wanted to live a peaceful life. It was not that he didn't want to get revenge on those who wronged him. It was that he did not have to ability to do so.

So he only wanted to live a peaceful life, at least for now. Thus he made his way to the smallest city in the whole entirety of the Yang Empire, Willow City. Except, he wasn't sure on how to get there. Did he want to go through the borders and pay tax? Although this would be the safest way, he didn't have the money to do so. So he could only make up his mind on going through the Spirit Forest to get to the Willow City. He could also use the wild vegetables and fruits to feed himself.

The path through the Spirit Forest was not very safe, as there was no 'set path' in the first place and beasts could appear from everywhere. It could be said that this was a place where a lot of humans have died.

Chen Gu finally made it to the entrance of the Spirit Forest, where he saw a sign with a crude handwriting that said, "Forbidden Area For Humans" Chen Gu paid no mind to this matter and walked inside the forest.

When General Chen was still alive, he taught Chen Gu several ways to find his ways if he were to get lost, one of them being the moss on the trees only growing on the north side, and such.

So it shouldn't have been a trouble for Chen Gu to find his way to the Willow City. But it was. When Chen Gu kept following moss on the trees and fed himself with wild veggies, he got into an area where moss grew over all around the trees. He continued on moving to the way which he thought was north. He was moving to east instead.

After a journey, without any unfortunate problems, that lasted about two weeks, he finally saw the end of the Forest Area. He made a mad dash outside of the trees, which caused him to trip on a tree root and fall. He was mostly unharmed, except for some brain damage (maybe).

He then stood up and gasped at the sight he was seeing. He was not put of the forest, but was instead in a circular (treeless) area which was about 50 meters radius wide, and was covered by enormous trees. The most surprising part was that a small shack was in the middle of the whole forest. The shack was cover with green moss on top, but was perfectly clean on the sides, except for some dents.

This made Chen Gu really curious, as he slowly made his way towards the shack...

I said at least one chapter a day, maybe more. Tell me if I'm progressing way too fast, so that I can add more suffering to this story.
