Amongst the trees, a silhouette saf there, like a status, there was no movement, neither was there any breathing, one would mistake the silhouetted to be dead if not for the thinking vermillion pupils.

All because of this four, he was separated from the rest. Having tracked them down, he had been following them for six days now, meanwhile no forgetting to kill monsters along the way.

Six days ago,

Ezra, Sterling and the others under Oab walked into the valley, they were the last amongst the groups to enter.

Following Oab's advice, they stayed as a team and killed any monster they encountered, but the harmony didn't stay long, Mike, the tan skinned guy with dual colored pupils who unanimously made himself the leader began to disdain against Ezra calling him trash.

Looking at Sterling, who was always be Ezra's side at every fight or rest, Mike was jealous, even when Ezra tried to distance himself from Sterling she seem to not want to budge no matter what.

Which lead to a few scruples and a division of their group, two others followed Mike, since he was strong, they believed he would protect them, while the rest stayed with the original group.

It was at this moment, the four students under Darren arrived, and they immediately launched their attack, and the first person they attacked, surprisingly was Ezra.

The black haired boy with earrings shot a fireball at Ezra who managed to block it, but he was hauled into the distance faraway from the rest.

When Ezra came back to his senses, he noticed that he was already in the periphery of the middle region of the valley, and as if fate was toying with him, he had landed directly in a monster's lair.

A bull horned serpent, a 1st Order demon beast but it was weak. Having noticed Ezra, the serpent attacked and Ezra who was burning with fury at his fate retaliated. Both human and beast fought for half and hour, to which Ezra won, not without having half of his body burnt. The serpent was of a fire element.

After the battle, Ezra's body absorbed the residual energy in the air and he broke through to the middle stage of the beginner's realm. Checking out the monster's lair, he found a space necklace and a demon beast egg. Ezra thought of abandoning the egg but changed his mind.

He met students from other groups too, but they were too busy with killing monsters to notice him.

And now, he had already caught up to the four students.

Ezra looked down at the black band, the number 200 was highlighted on it, which means Ezra had killed 200 demon beasts. He had always met low level demon beasts and even when he was still at the middle stage of the beginner's realm, he could fight 1st Order demon beasts. Now, he is already at the peak of the beginner's realm.

Ezra continued watching the battle below and he suddenly frowned, "things are about to get shitty"

"No need to panic, we need to hold on until it's berserk mode is used up, by then it would be greatly exhausted" the black haired boy with earrings said, his name is Cain.

"Big bro Cain, with you as our assault, we believe we can last till then" the large breasted girl said as she looked at Cain with shiny eyes.

Cain smiled before he looked at the wolf, whose fur had gone completely black even it's eyes were black making it seem like a silhouette.

The silhouette vanished, Cain and the rest backed themselves up as they watched their surroundings with wary eyes.

"Roger!" The blonde boy waved his hand and small light balls appeared around them, which caused the wolf to come out of the shadow, it was already in front of the girl, it swiped its claw, but it was blocked.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the academy, in a hall, several projections were put up, and it was of each and every student in the valley. Watching the projections were a group of twelve people, among them were Oab, Darren and the other teachers who were at the entrance of the hundred beasts valley.

"What good coordination, that Cain has a good leadership quality" the twelfth person said, his voice resounded through the hall, but no one dared to look at him, as he was in the dark part of the hall, where light seem to avoid, sometimes a human silhouette would appear but once you look, you'll see a huge entity.

"But I'm curious about our deviant, Ezra... What is he planning to do?"

"Headmaster, you should know this better than we do" Oab said while giving Darren a glare to which the latter smiled at.

The twelfth person in the hall, is the principal of the academy, Headmaster, and yes that is his name.

"Fufu... Revenge is best served cold..." Headmaster chuckled.

In the screen projecting Ezra and the four students' area, Ezra was seen standing in front of the girl as he blocked the claw of the shadow wolf.

He looked back at Cain who was looking at him with a wry smile.

"I'm a vengeful person"
