The beginning

Jun slowly opened his eyes and looked around. He frowned.

'What is this? Cosplay?' he thought.

He was inside a large auditorium that was decorated very grandly with a huge banner that read:

- Welcome students from Scarlett Middle-High School -

- Welcome students from Sapphire Elementary School -

- Welcome students from Fire Red Middle-High School -

and so on.

In front of him was a woman wearing a uniform and a badge on her chest. Jun knew her - her name was Mia, a teacher from his school and also his aunt. She seemed to be enthusiastically welcoming all the kids around his age.

'Wait a minute, this is the first time I've seen her. How can I know her name, and that she's my aunt?' Jun was confused. However, before he could think again, he felt a faint pain in the depths of his brain. Countless information poured into his mind, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still.

"Alright, next," Teacher Mia called the next person to move forward. However, she waited for a while but still no one came. Curious, she turned around and saw Jun.

Although it was now Jun's turn to move, he stayed still. But she maintained her professional smile and only looked at him. She thought he was shy and hesitant to move.

"Jun, come on, it's okay. You'll get your starter Pokemon today and you can play with it. You won't be lonely anymore," she coaxed Jun. She knew Jun was a little introverted, and kids around his age with this personality needed more attention to encourage them.

Jun still stayed and quickly processed the information that had flooded his mind. After a while, Jun finally felt a little strange and sighed secretly. He realized that he had time-traveled into a Pokemon world, but it was different from the Pokemon world he knew. In this world, Pokemon and human civilization were deeply connected, and they advanced together along with time.

According to historical records, the origin of Pokemon couldn't be traced, and ancient Pokemon could only be glimpsed in sporadic ancient ruins. Jun also knew that in this world, there were no characters that he knew very well from the animation, such as Ash, Brock, Misty.

Fortunately, even without the characters or regions that he knew, human civilization and Pokemon had progressed consistently. There was a Pokemon Alliance, Elite Champions, Gyms, Pokemon Centers, Pokemon Day Care, Poke Marts, and, most importantly, the familiar Pokemon Battles.

"So this original body's name is also Jun," Jun muttered to himself.

"What is it, Jun?" Mia asked, leaning in to hear him better.

"Ah, no, no. Now it's my turn? Okay, let's go," Jun said confidently, surprising Mia. This was the first time he had spoken so confidently.

'Opps, I forgot. Let's go quickly,' Jun remembered that he needed to act like the original Jun.

In this world, the original owner of this body, also named Jun, was born into a superpower family in Vermillion City. To be exact, his name was Jun Falken.

His grandfather was a well-known Elite trainer in Vermillion City who held the position of marquis in the Emerald Empire. People often called him Marquis Dennis.

His grandmother was a Pokemon expert who held the title of an associate professor. In the Pokemon franchise, her job was like that of Professor Oak, who often dove into the research and study of Pokemon

His father was also an Elite trainer who owned his own gymnasium brand. After his grandfather accepted the marquis title, he immediately retired from the gymnasium and passed it on to his son, Leonard Falken.

His mother was a renowned Elite breeder in the industry. Initially, she owned her own Pokemon breeding house named Ambrose Daycare. But as time went by, her breeding house had grown into a big business that specialized in certain types of Pokemon.

The original Jun was arranged to enter an Elite school since he was a child. He ranked first in his grades every year. Jun was obsessed with learning, and he had little interest in Pokemon battles. His goal was to become a Pokemon scholar and be like his grandmother.

Now Jun was at the age to receive his starter Pokemon. He and his classmates were arranged by the school to come to this auditorium along with kids from other schools to choose their Pokemon.
