Chapter 24"Going Out for Dinner"

As the group continued to study, they realized that it was getting late, and they needed to figure out dinner plans. Jonas's mother had been kind enough to offer to make dinner, but Wilhelm and his friends didn't want to burden her any further.

After a brief discussion, they decided to go out and buy pizza and salad for dinner instead. Wilhelm remembered the frustrating experience he had with the vending machine on the street corner earlier and asked Jonas if there were any other vending machines nearby.

Jonas told Wilhelm that he could ride his bicycle straight and turn right, and he would find two vending machines side by side. Wilhelm was relieved to hear this and told the rest of his friends to go to the coordinates Jonas had given him.

As they walked to the vending machines, Sophia asked, "Do you guys prefer pizza with or without pineapple?"

Göran replied, "I don't really care, as long as it has lots of cheese."

Lena added, "I like my pizza with lots of veggies, like mushrooms and peppers."

Wilhelm chimed in, "I just want something that isn't from that stupid vending machine on the street corner."

The group laughed, and they soon arrived at the vending machines. They picked out their pizzas and salads and paid using the touch screen and cashless payment options available.

As they walked back to Jonas's house with their dinner, they chatted and joked around, feeling grateful for the convenience of the vending machines and happy to have relieved Jonas's mother from the burden of making dinner.
