Something fell on my head.

It was the boy from before.

He flicked my head.

-Hmm, you woke up, dear saviour~? -He asked me in neutral voice.

He looked better but his eyes were still the same.

Lifeless.

-W..what? What are doing here? -I looked at him as I rubbed my eyes.

-Me? I'm just wandering~ But you! I never seen you there. What's your name? -He looked at me with somehow teasing eyes filled with curosity.

His eyes quickly changed from lifeless to filled with curiousity, but he still wasn't a normal kid.

He seemed mature in the inside.

-Uhh..I'm Ciel. What about you? -I said as I stood up. I looked for my basket but it was even less fruit in there as before.

-I'm Lissandro. And I must say that these apples are delicious! There's no better apple even in the capital! -He said as he was eating my apples.

So, I found the culprit.

-Hah? What are you doing? Those were my apples! -Just as I said before, food are matter to me.

-Not anymore! -He said with a chukle. And I withdraw what I said before. Maybe he weren't that mature.

-Sight...Okay, you know what? I go now. -I said as I started following the path again.

You know, I can't lose againts a kid. I'm still an adult in the inside after all.

-Hmm? But are you even know where is that path leads? I bet you don't~ But I know it! I always in this forest! -He smirked.

-Yes. I don't know where it leads but I don't mind finding it out. Now, leave me alone. Kids must go home before dark. -I said as a mature adult.

-Don't look down on me! I may look young but I'm now wandering, so I go with you. -He smiled teasingly.

-Okay okay...Do what you want. -Yes, I gave in at this point.

-Haha! See? I always do what I want! -He said with a smug face.

-Yeah, sure. But now that I think about it...What were you doing in that house? You wanted to die? -I said as I glanced at him.

-Hmm...Yeah. I tried to, but miss saviour "saved" me so I gave that up for a while. It's better to follow miss saviour, I mean Ciel, than die. -He said with with a serious voice.

-Yeah, it's sure it is. But If you ever want to die, wait until you grow up. Maybe if you will be an adult, you'll don't want to die anymore. Who knows? -I said.

-I'm an adult though..and why do you say this like this? Experience? -He said with a questioningly face.

-Hmm, maybe? It was long time ago.- I said firmly.

But now that I think about it, i didn't really died either. I mean, I'm here afterall. So maybe i transmigreted? or..possed someone? it's not count as a reborn if i not really born..I wonder what happened...but who mind to bother about it? It's fine now -I mean my life- so, who cares what happened? As long as I don't need to be a saint or a warrior, I don't mind to just wander around.

We followed the narrow path and we reached a large city in a hour.

It seemed like a minute as we chatted around.

Now that I look at it...He never said where the path leads..

-Okay! We arrived Ciel~ Welcome to Seraphin Empire's capital city! It has the finest shops, bakeries and culture! It's an awesome city! -he enthused about it.

I think he liked this city even more than he thought.

But I need to admit, it looked impressive.

Beautiful lakes, shops, a lot of people who also looked happy. It seemed alive. In real life, there maybe a lot of people, but they're not always happy. There must be a good ruler and community.

-Yes, it seems...Alive. -I smiled gently as I continued to watch the people. Sometimes I wonder about their background...I mean, they have a history like us? Problems like mines, and so on? I gave these things a lot of thought. I always wondered what happenes to me after I die, or that is there reincarnation or something.

Or that if is there a world like this. And you see, it's there. It's exists.

And I happened to be transmigreted to here. It's what people call "fate"?

For me, I found out what after life is. So for now, I don't care about the person's background that I possesed.

I want to be selfish this time.

I must say that I'm a good observer. The city maybe wasn't that beautiful as it looked at first glance. Some shaddy people in alleys, a lot of homeless. They tried to hide it, but there was a large gap between the nobles and simple citizens like us.

All the glances from the nobles to the homeless.. It was disgusting. They had such a smug face that even I would like to punch them. Even thought I call myself a pretty good pacifist.

As Lissandro leaded me and told me all kind of stories about the city, I finally understood it.

He can't see what I see.

He must be some kind of noble maybe. Only those can't see these hidden signs of hate and pain who live with golden spoon from the start.

-I had enough. Let's eat something. -I said with indifference.

-Oh..? Really? Okay then.. I know a good restaurant near here. -He said with a sad expression, but I can't help. I just can't tolerate watching this comedy. I'm afraid I will hit someone if I watch this any longer.
