The Teardrop-shaped Sapphire

"I see that you are already waking up. Oh! And the potion you drank last night is a mixture of ginger root and butterbur shrub. It is a potion that is very good for the body." The man said all the words with a grin on his face as soon as he saw Aria in the house.

"Ah, I see! No wonder my body feels so good when I wake up just now." Thanks to that weird taste medicine that not only does it stop her headache, but also freshen her body as well.

Before she could ask further about everything she was curious about, without a warning, her stomach suddenly growling so loud. Aria felt her face burning from embarrassment and look away, unwilling to look upon the man at the eyes.

"Are you hungry? Please sit there for a moment. Healer Rowu gave me some steamed buns earlier, but it's already cold now. I need to heat it up again before you can eat." The man said a few words and started to enter the cooking area.

He lights the fire of the stone stove that already had a few firewood on it with only crackling two pieces of wood together. He then grabbed a pot on the shelf and put some water in it. When the water starts to boil, he places a bamboo basket on top of the pot and places the steamed buns he mentioned earlier. After heating up the bun for a while, he picked it up and put the bun on a plate.

"Thank you so much. I really owe you a lot for now." Feeling embarrassed with her situation, Aria began to eat the bun quietly. After eating two pieces of the steamed bun, she offered the other two pieces of the bun to the man that sat in front of her without saying any words, only looking at her every movement.

She felt so awkward of that man stare that she got indigestion. The man just shook his head and asked her to finish it all as he had already eaten at the healer house earlier.

As he mentioned the healer name again, Aria started to come to her sense. She was very curious about how she ended up here, and she began to ask, "Did you bring me here last night?"

With a confused expression, the man answered her question with another question. "You didn't remember anything?"

Aria frowned her brows as she felt confused with his question. She tried to remember everything that happened to her, and the only thing she remembered was the blinding light from that shooting stars.

"There is nothing that came to my mind for now. The last thing I remember before I fainted is the light. " Aria calmly said the last thing she saw before losing her consciousness that night.

"Are you talking about light that appears at the sky?" The man asks Aria like he knows something about it.

Aria nodded her head, hoping that she would find the answers that she was looking for. Unfortunately, that man also didn't know where the light was coming from.

According to him, he also saw the strong blinding light coming from the sky when he was doing the patrol at the border of the village last evening. He followed the trace of the light and noticed that the light ended at the ground near a cave outside the village.

When he approached the end of the light, it suddenly disappeared, and Aria body was lying there unconscious. "That thing on your neck emitting blue lights when I found you there." He added and pointed at the pendant on the necklace that Aria wore.

"My necklace emits light? How?" Aria, look down at the pendant that is connected with the silver necklace on her neck. It's a small teardrops shape sapphire pendant that she bought about a month ago with a street merchant near her apartment complex.

The lady that sells the necklace didn't seem weird in Aria's memory, and she also sells many types of accessories together with the necklace.

"This looks so good on you, little lady, may it bring good fortune to you in the future." That the only words she said to Aria when she bought the necklace last time. 'She really didn't seem suspicious at all, but still, how did this small pendant emit a light then?'
