Chapter 9

Noah has been training with his new sith Warsword and has become very proficient in its use, and due to its added weight his body has also increased, his upper body has more muscle strength including his arms as well. He has become nimble enough with his new sword that he is able to be as fast as his lightsaber.

Eskella has been trying to defeat him in a fight for a while now but she has unsuccessful in that regard. He has started to believe that it is because of the fact that her father seemed to be more interested in his training than her own daughter, she might be jealous of the attention he is getting, though he isn't sure about it and doesn't wish to venture on that matter.

He has protected his position as the strongest acolyte in the academy ever since he has gotten the title and he has only progressed further in the use of the dark side of the force. However he has been able to maintain his own ego and not let his negative emotions control him.

But he stopped his practice as he felt something powerful force users entering the planet as he focused on it. In the time since he has come here he has become more connected to the force so to speak and with enough concentration is able to feel if someone powerful is approaching him.

Of course, for that kind of skill it demanded great levels of training which he did by trying to feel all the living beings on the planet using the force. Since the force is everything he is able to feel them using his connection to it.

He closed his eyes and focused on the signatures and realised that they are dark side users of the force. He opened his eyes as he looked at the direction the ships were coming from, even though he didn't see them.

"Sith lords." Noah said to himself as only they would have such a presence.

He walked out of his private training room as he sheathed his blade and holstered his lightsaber before he walked towards the entrance. On the way he came face to face with Tremel who is currently talking with another man.

Noah didn't know the guy's name and he didn't care. But what he does know is that he is the one who had become the apprentice of Darth Baras, something which he remembered after sometime.

'I don't care much about what this guy does, but this does make the remember that one girl who was said to be quite special. Maybe if I find her.' Noah thought to himself as he looked at the two as he walked.

Tremel turned to his right and saw Noah as he smiled confidently and gave a short farewell to the acolyte and met with Noah.

"Now acolyte Noah, this is very important. A few Sith are coming here and they might choose one of you as their apprentice. You have to make sure that you get chosen as it will allow you to gain great strength." Tremel said to him seriously.

"Understood." Noah said with a serious face.

Tremel nodded and then walked out of the academy to meet up with the visitors. Noah watched as a few people walked out of the ship and talked with Tremel and a few of the other Overseers. He also saw Eskella watching the newly arrived Sith with worry and apprehension.

He decided to be silent as he watched the Overseers coming back to the academy. No sooner than they did, they started to give missions out to the acolytes to do which made him busy. But since he was already quite powerful he didn't have much difficulty in dispatching the pests in one of the tombs.

He then saw a group of them running towards him as he looked at his right hand and raised his right palm at them. His eyes changed to a reddish orange yellow colour before red lighting shot out of his palm and struck them and killed them quite quickly.

He looked at the aftermath and then at his own palm as he smirked as let out a sigh and looked ahead.

"If you wish to sneak up on me, then you should be more careful." Noah said as he looked behind him.

He saw a blonde haired, fair skinned woman wearing Sith armor standing a few feet away from him as he looked at her. She has the characteristic Sith eyes as she looked at him with an intense gaze.

"I suppose. But I could feel a potential apprentice and so I followed you. I am pleased to say that you are what I hoped you would be." The woman said as she looked at him.

"Who are you?" Noah asked her cautiously.

"I am Darth Zash and I wish to make you my apprentice." The woman said to him.

Noah regarded her proposal as he knew that for him to advance in the use of the dark side, he needs to learn from someone who has experience. But he also knows some of the information regarding this woman in front of him as he looked at her and knows of her expertise in Sith rituals.

'Her knowledge in the Sith rituals will be helpful to me in learning more ways to use the dark side. And maybe if I am able to gain her favourability, then it might be a very advantageous thing for me.' Noah thought to himself as he looked at her.

He knew that she is dangerous, but so was any kind of Sith Lord and he wasn't bothered. And so he opened his mouth to answer her when suddenly the both of them felt a wave go through them as they stopped and looked at each other.

'It seems that the beast has been killed.' Noah thought to himself as he looked at her.
