Capable Mind.

Three weeks. Three weeks and he still had zero idea where to begin.

In the first few days, he learned a few things. One, is that he could read any language within Star Wars. Two, he remembered EVERYTHING. Every word of every text was firmly within his mind, and it sucked, a lot. Three, the mental archivist he asked for, took the form of a mini version of Astra he could talk to if he focused on, and he should have been more specific.

("Lydia, read me the text on basic repairs again")

(*Are you going to ask me politely?*)

("..Lydia, would you please read me the text on basic repairs.")

(*...I don't like your-*)

("LYDIA!")

(*FINE! No need to be pushy*)

She couldn't read his thoughts, to hit relief, but she seemed to have a general feel of his mood. He had tried to ask what it was like in his head, but she refused to answer him.

Despite his newfound abilities, he could get nowhere with his force ability. It was not nearly as easy as you might think it would be. He did everything from the movies, but felt nothing. The closest he got was him having a vision flash through his head one time before he could face-plant from tripping on the cobblestone.

As far as he could tell, the force wasn't commanded. Every effort he placed towards learning how to contact it proved futile. Eventually, he gave up, and focused on other things, namely piloting. He managed to find an old republic liberator class fighter.

Piloting was wonderful, it gave you a true sense of freedom to be in the air, and he relished it. He also encountered the first completely unexplainable thing in the Star Wars universe, inertia just chose to occasionally not exist. When he flew into the upper atmosphere, he was going in under the assumption there wouldn't be a limit to his speed, but he didn't go above 800 on the meter. When he went into low orbit for the first time, which still blew his mind, he still didn't even reach the speed of sound. Everything he ever knew about physics.... didn't apply. He couldn't explain it, but there was a max speed in space. He tried to search the archive, but that was supremely unhelpful. He chose to just accept it after awhile.

Because he couldn't seem to make any breakthroughs as far as the force went, he went full force into studying the Galaxy. He spent weeks learning about economics, cultures, engineering, history, planets, and anything else that caught his interest. He had a lot to read still, but with due time, he would know it all.

While on the subject of the force, he decided his best bet would be a teacher, but since he couldn't go to the Jedi as a grown man, that left him with a few options. First was to study with the killiks....no. Second was the Night...nope, they would never teach him. He could possibly study on Dorin, but he didn't particularly think that was a good plan. That left him with one option...and with a *lot* of trepidation, he placed in the coordinates...for Korriban.
