(Late for training.)

Chapter fifty two:

Rey Palpatine was currently in the throne room of the second Death Star, waiting for her apprentice Cale Lestin. The last battle was a major disappointment, but it wouldn't happen again. The Confederacy of Independent Systems was better than that. And her Jedi techniques was supposed to be unpredictable. The damn Yuzhan Vong probably did research on Jedi tactics.

Even then, the Confederacy of Independent Systems should have beaten the Yuzhan Vong without her and her apprentice Cale Lestin. For making a fool out of the new Jedi Order, Rey Palpatine would have a word with the Father of Mortis. And she would broadcast it every week and everyone in the Confederacy of Independent Systems would see that the Jedi Order was not to be trifled with.

As Rey Palpatine sat on the throne of the second Death Star she started to grow more and more impatient. Where in the hell was her her apprentice Cale Lestin? Rey Palpatine then swore to herself if he wasn't so useful in battle she would have yelled at him by now. And their meetings wasn't on his terms but her's. "My time will not be wasted anymore." Rey Palpatine said to herself and just as she said that Cale Lestin walked into the throne room.

"Come to me now." Replied Rey Palpatine as Cale Lestin bowed down in front of her.

"Cale, why did you waste my time?" Said Rey Palpatine.

"Master?" Replied Cale Lestin.

"I said that I wanted to train half a hour ago. Our training schedules do not run on your time, but mine." Said Rey Palpatine.

"I'm sorry my Master, but I was in the middle of doing paperwork." Replied Cale Lestin.

"Our training is more important than any paperwork. Never forget that Cale. But now let's get down to business." Said Rey Palpatine.

"There is a man on Coruscant, named Jared Odan. He is a Sith soldier, well he won't be soon. And I need you to send a shuttle to go meet him, no I want you to go meet him yourself." Replied Rey Palpatine.

"Why me? The Resistance has perfectly capable pilots." Said Cale Lestin.

"I trust you more than anyone else to get the job done right. And while you are coming back, you'll explain to Jared how the Resistance works." Replied Rey Palpatine.

"Yes, my Master? Anything else?" Said Cale Lestin.

"Yes, Dantooine was a disgrace. The B1 Ultra Droids were very lucky that we were close by. I do not want anything to happen like that ever again." Replied Rey Palpatine.

"Of course my Master." Said Cale Lestin.

"That is why. We will hold a public meeting." Replied Rey Palpatine.

"We will broadcast it over the entire galaxy. And B1 Ultra Droids will see what failure leads to. The Confederacy of Independent Systems will respect the Jedi Order even more." Said Rey Palpatine.

"I will speak to the Daughter of Mortis, my Master. When would you like to see her?" Replied Cale Lestin.

"I will contact you after your mission to Coruscant. Jared Odan will be a part of this. Now go do what you're Jedi Master told you to do." Said Rey Palpatine.

"Yes, my Master." Replied Cale Lestin before walking away.

"Don't forget, to bring him in alive." Said Rey Palpatine.

Cale Lestin then turned around and nodded at her, before walking away. Rey Palpatine came to appreciate him as he was a exceptional Padawan and always carried out Rey's orders.

Rey Palpatine then started to think about how she would broadcast the news. Maybe if she meditated on it. Rey Palpatine then walked to the Jedi temple which was located on Malachor 5 and started to think.

And she couldn't wait for the Sith Inquisitors to see it. She betted that Abeloth would be horrified. The whole Yuzhan Vong will probably feel sick, and General Pryde would see what true power really looked like.

The Yuzhan Vong's internal suffering would be a feast for the Resistance.
