Shane lifted Wyonna into the car without waiting for Louis's answer.

He slammed the door shut. Anger raged inside his heart, but he held back his anger and fastened her seatbelt. Then, he stepped hard on the accelerator and sped off.

"Mr. Shane, why were you there?" Wyonna tried asking. Shane was expressionless.

"Why? Are you upset that I interrupted your time with your old flame? Have you forgotten what you promised me?" Shane gave her a cold glance.

Howard Nielson had reported seeing Wyonna walk into Louis Young's office. Shane was in the middle of a meeting with his company's top-level executives but sped over in his car the moment he received Howard's report.

When he arrived, he did not expect to catch them outside the department store pulling at each other like they could not bear to part...

He had no idea how to describe how he felt when he saw that. He only knew that he could not stand it and had to break them up immediately!
