Early the next morning, Uncle Ben came in to serve breakfast. He was shocked by Shane sitting on the bed, looking angry. He stammered, "M...Mr... Mr. Shane, why are you sitting here quietly all by yourself? Where is Ms. Sinclair? I have prepared her breakfast too..."
Shane shot a glance at Uncle Ben and growled, "Don't ever prepare her breakfast again!"
Not long after Uncle Ben had left, Mr. and Mrs. Muller came.
"Did you quarrel with Wynonna?" Mrs. Muller frowned. She started to criticize him, "She is such a good and cute girl. She taught me how to play video games. Why did you make her angry and chase her away? Now, who's going to play games with me?"
"Why do you assume that I am the one who made her angry? She was the one who made me angry." Shane's grandmother knew him too well that he did not know how else to respond.
