EPILOGUE
It has been three weeks since they buried Gabriel in a small funeral with the group and a few friends to attend. It was sad for the living twin but after the night at Dracula's castle he never showed his tears again.
Bryan managed to get the NYPD to forget the incident at the club and get the club reopened and since then things returned to normal, for some of them.
Samuel sits in an office with his head buried in the laptop in front of him while he taps the fingers on one hand on the open book beside his laptop.
A bottle of bourbon stands on one side of the table with a glass cup and he rubs his chin.
He leans back into his chair as he checks the club's books and records, reopening has been quite expensive. After all, if you go out of the night business there are many others ready to take the top spot.
A knock on the door makes him lift his head as it swings open and Bryan walks in, his hair is laid back and slick while his pale skin reveal his bony cheeks.
"Boss," "Bryan," "Mr. Spector is here for you, says he has an appointment" Bryan says as he adjusts his sleeveless black jacket.
"Why are you the one telling me this?" "Rachael went to the hospital, she hasn't been well lately so she and Elma went for a check up," Bryan says. "Why am I just hearing this?" "Boss, you've been quite secluded since..., you know" Bryan averts his gaze.
Samuel sighs and nods his head, "I see. Give me two minutes, I will join him shortly" he says. Bryan nods his head and leaves the office. He knows the vampire is right, since burying Gabriel he has kept to himself; always working and paying little attention to those around him. He had been with his brother for centuries and knowing that he will never see him again or hear another insult from his mouth breaks his heart.
But life must go on and Samuel must find a way to live on without Gabriel.
QUEENS HOSPITALS CENTER
Elma enters the room where Rachael sits at the edge of the bed, "So what's going on?" she asks as she sits beside Rachael.
Rachael tugs her long hair behind her ear, "I don't know, the doctor hasn't gotten back to me," she says.
Elma sniffs around her neck, "I don't know about this, you smell alright to me. If you were dying I would know," Elma says and Rachael chuckles, "I'm not dying," she says.
"No, you are not" a man with silky brown hair says as he enters. His brown beards are full around his jaw and his eyes carry a hint of warmth behind them.
He smiles broadly, "You are fine," Richard says, Elma winks and whispers, "Your doctor friend is cute," "Thank you," he says with a smile, "Congratulations B Ray, you are pregnant".
ELSEWHERE
Under the covers of the organization's building away from eyes and ears that aren't under their command they make their ploy. Azazel sits on his throne with a smile and his hands at rest while the skylight let's in the rays of light that bathe him with its glory.
The doors open and a tall man with long wavy black hair and a goatee walks in. He wears a long brown jacket and black pants to match, his eyes are fierce and stern but even he must respect the man on the throne.
"Byron," Azazel starts, "I believe Alex has briefed you on what to do. Your target's name is Cassandra Brown. She has taken over a few packs already and is expanding her reach.
I want you to win her loyalty and when the time is right, bring me her heart" Azazel says.
"What do I get in return?" "I will resurrect the count. I believe he owes you a word or two. Do this and I will bring back Dracula," "We have a deal,".
Many more to come. Thank you for following my inconsistent ass. Please stay tuned for more. Please you can comment and give me your views on the book so far. Thanks again and I hope you enjoyed it.
