Chapter Eleven

Peggy was walking into Meredith's house the next morning, she got a drunken call from Lexie the night before informing her of her whereabouts. She figured her friend would need some clothes and her toothbrush. So she took out the ones she had from when Lexie slept over and made her way to Meredith's.

Twisting the doorknob she finds the door unlocked and makes her way in. Closing the door she glances up to find Lexie standing in the hall talking to Alex., "Good morning!"

She smiles at them but Lexie ignores it as she points at the man with a glare, "You do know that he was with another woman last night?"

She nods, "The redhead, she was hot." Peggy walks closer to the man smirking, "The only thing I'm concerned about is if she was better than me?"

Alex laughs, "I don't know, mind reminding me what it's like later."

"Sure," She shrugs walking into the kitchen and finds Derek sitting at the table. Sniffing the air she looks at him confused, "Why does it smell like shit in here?"

Throat clearing catches her attention, "I made breakfast."

Whipping her head around to look at Meredith she smiles tensely, "And it looks delicious!" The blonde hums looking back down at the stove.

"Dude, what the hell is that?" Alex asks looking at them confused.

Derek smiles at them, "Meredith cooked. She wanted to do something nice for Lexie."

"You cooked for me?" Lexie looks at Meredith with happiness in her eyes.

Meredith shrugs, "It's no big deal. Just ... eggs and avocado and whatever cheese that was in the fridge."

Alex and Peggy smile at the girl as they watch her hesitate to eat it, "Oh, I love, um, avocados."

"Is it okay?" Meredith asks as they all watch her slowly eat a bit of the food. The girl looks up at her with a fake smile humming, making the older woman smile and leave the room. The second she was gone she turns to shake her head at Derek who puts his fork down.

Peggy laughs before looking at her confused, "Aren't you allergic to eggs?" The two men in the room snap their heads towards the girl in shock as Lexie nods. "Okay go get dressed I'll take you to the hospital."

"Thank you!" Lexie yells rushing out of the room.

Turning to Alex, Peggy smiles at him, "Do you need a ride to work?"

"I'll get dressed," Alex smirks at her walking out of the room.

Once they were at work Lexie and Peggy went to get dressed, then search for epinephrine. Rushing through the halls the two finally catch sight of Dr Bailey sitting in a computer lab. "Dr Bailey."

The woman puts her hand up as she continues typing, "Whatever it is, I don't have time." Her phone then begins to ring making her look down at it.

Peggy looks at Lexie to see her scratching her red face, "Uh, I think we need some epinephrine?"

The woman answers her phone upset, "Tucker, now's not a good time for..."

Lexie leans down to whisper to her, "Epinephrine?"

Bailey sighs pointing towards the hall, "The cart's around the corner." She looks over at the nurse in the room, "Can you give her the..." The nurse nods handing them the key.

"Thank you," Lexie whisper to her as they leave the room heading to the cart. As they walk out of the room an alarm went off making Bailey rush out of the room calling Peggy's name.

Handing Lexie the key she rushes after her, "Sorry Lex!" Running next to Bailey they get into Mr Greenwald's room to find a woman standing over top of him.

"You're gonna have to step back from the patient, Ma'am." The two walk over but the woman ignores them, "Ma'am?"

The woman continues what she's doing and whispers, "Just one second."

Christina walks by the room but stops when she sees what's happening, "Ms Archer? What is she doing here?

The two doctors shake their heads as Peggy looks at her resident confused, "We have no idea. You know her?"

The resident rushes over to the patient informing them of who she is, "She's Hahn's patient. Ms Archer, you need to get back to your bed." Bailey and Peggy walk over to the bed as the monitor slows down and stops erratically beating.

"There." Ms Archer says as the man in the bed looks completely fine.

The doctors stare at the two in shock, "What'd you do to him? He was in V-tach and now..."

The woman smiles at Dr Bailey, "I healed him. I'm a healer." She then passes out making them gasp as Christina surges forward to catch her.
