Chapter 116: Death Versus Chaos (part 1)

As the sliced chunks of Shades' body drop to the floor. Xue Tie once again falls to his knees as that technique is the upper limit of what he could currently handle as he experiences and integrates the true death concept.

The others have an impressed look at the power of the technique just used by Xue Tie. They start to relax and think about what to do next when Miquella speaks up.

"It's not over yet but my time here is, unless you want this divine realm to break down on you all." Miquella informs them and they all see that Shades' body is covered in a purple liquid that breaks down his body until it's nothing more than a puddle. From the non-existent corpse of Shade, the river of reincarnation manifests and begins to float up until a black tendril drags it back into itself.

Miquella waves his hand to deliver another burst of energy to Xue Tie and then opens a rift so he can leave. With his presence gone, the land no longer shakes and cracks. As such, the minor gods in the background can finally put in the proper work needed to get the divine realm back in tip top shape as long as the next fight doesnt cause any more damage.

"All of you back off, just support me if I need it. With my power I can deliver the best offensive against this thing." Xue Tie states as he summons his death god divine armor set which he had already purged of any reincarnation/chaos mutations from his armor from when he fought against Asura the first time around.

He also told them to hold off since only Poseidon would be of any help along with the two goddesses. Asura is low on energy from releasing his Asura Blood Sword technique (the aforementioned judgment technique) twice in just a few hours. Hui Mie the god of destruction would continue not being of much help here since they are now facing off against the personification of chaos itself. The very same fragment of chaos that had corrupted Shade and the river of reincarnation.

It had retaken the river once more to use it as a power source for itself. Though everyone can tell that the chaos now is more animalistic as it charges at Xue Tie who is closest to it. He responds by setting up a barrier of death energy between them which the chaos seems to bounce off of. This gives Xue Tie the chance to do something he hasn't been able to do until now.

Raising his hand with death revolving around it. A rainbow colored seal[1] comes flying through the air before resting before Xue Tie. This is the reincarnation god head that is what Xue Tie had been deriving his power from when he first ascended, believing the death to be it's own standalone power yet he was wrong.

But not for long.

The hand coated in death is stabbed into the Seal and extracts the death shard of the godhead which makes it a bit unstable before he puts it instead a death bubble to ensure it doesnt join chaos like the river. Xue Tie throws the unstable reincarnation godhead to the god kings while he absorbs the death god head/throne. "Keep watch over that for me."

With the death god head merging with Xue Tie, he rightfully takes his place as the god of death and can more properly generate his own energy and stabilize his cultivation as a first stage god against the chaos.

It had been hammering against the death wall this whole time, not having the brain power to go around it or trying to corrupt/absorb it back into the river it absorbed. Though, upon seeing Xue Tie complete his godly ascension, it's form starts to morph as it grows a bit bigger while growing two tufts of 'hair' on each side of it's head, what looks like a face plate over its face and manifesting a stop sign.[2]

"Ah fuck, am I Hank in this scenario? Is chaos just Nevada after it went to shit?" Xue Tie states in confusion as the tricky chaos swipes its stop sign to break the death barrier before charging at Xue Tie, all the while shaking like a crack addict as it zips and zooms around like it's teleporting but it's just moving very fast. Xue Tie summons his dragon martial spirit again but in the form of a trident once more as it meets a head on collision with the stop sign.

The collison cracks the ground around them as Tricky jumps up and bounces around like there is an invisible roof just a few feet above them both. Tricky quickly lands behind Xue Tie who fails to react and gets smacked away by the sign. He quickly burns where the chaos touched him just in case before preparing for the next event with a plan in mind.

The two exchange more fights and then suddenly Tricky throws the sign at Xue Tie who knocks it away before defending himself as Tricky sends out a flurry of blows at him which he barely blocks as they move at speeds he has never seen before. Xue Tie coats his body in flames in case any attack gets past his sword.

Tricky eventually stops, only to summon a building out of nowhere and drop it on his head.

Xue Tie's body breaks through the floor as he rubs his head from the bump he just got.

"What in the floridian fuck was that?" Xue Tie curses in confusion at both his opponents abilities and it's relationship with Nevada.

"Is the Nevada world connected to this world somehow? Is the chaos like a symbiote and it had been a host for Tricky at some point?…." His words are left unanswered as the door in front of him slides up to reveal the chaos clown in all his glory back at it again with the stop sign.

Tricky charges at Xue Tie again but this time around, it's Xue Tie giving the beatdown as he coats his fists in flames and begins to pummel the clone whilst blocking his signpost weapon. He releases his own flurry of blows upon the chaos clown's chest which knocks it back outside. The building dissipates into smokes of reddish black clouds. Tricky once again charges at Xue Tie with the signpost and releases a heavy swing that sends him flying off once more. Xue Tie summons his wings to fly at Chaos, crashing down upon it. He sets his foot down upon the clown's chest and manifests a sword to stab down and pin him down.

Then whilst still pinned, He summons a magnum and points it at the clown's head. Blowing it up into bits. He doesnt stop until all 6 shots are fired before he dissipates it.

[1] for those that don't know, in china-man novels, a seal is like a plaque (not to be mistaken with plague), or energy based construction in the form of a word which is typically in the form of mandarin writing. It's like japanese kanji in 3d form.

[2] Tricky from the Madness Combat series. The next line is another reference to that. It should be either the end of madness episode 5 as it leads into 5.5 and 6 that best describes the battle appearance and music theme. The later episodes just have dank music, to me it gets best at either episode 1 or 8.
