Chapter 3: Reveal

The whole room went silent, everyone was waiting for Toshinori to start talking. Before he started talking, Toshinori closed all the blinds and made sure all the doors were locked, he then turned to the family "Okay what I am about to tell is very dangerous and important, so I want you all to agree to never tell this to anyone okay."

Tamo, Izuku, and Inko nodded their heads, seeing this Toshinori continued."My quirk is a special one. I wasn't born with it -" "WHAT!?" Tamo and Izuku yelled out, surprised to hear that their idol and father were quirkless, just like them.

Toshinori put a hand up. "Let me continue, just like Tamo now, I was given this quirk. I am the 8th user of One for All, Tamo is now the 9th user. That is the big secret of my quirk: no one can be born with it, the user of One for All is selected by the previous user and it gets stronger as it gets passed down. Tamo, I have selected you to be the next user of One for All."

Tamo's eyes widen as the words ring over in his head, Izuku looks at his brother while he does feel a little jealous he could help but be happy for his brother." YOU DID WHAT!?" Inko yelled out and the whole room went silent as they turned to look at each other.

"HOW COULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND TO YOUR OWN CHILD TOSHINORI?!" "Inko, please let me expla-" "YOU JUST PUT THE BIGGEST RESPONSIBILITY ON OUR CHILD'S SHOULDERS HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY EXPLAIN THAT?!" Inko yelled.

Inko yelled out again Toshinori was stunned for a minute. He had never seen Inko this upset since when she used to see him in the hospital bed getting his injuries treated back at the academy for pushing himself too hard.

"Inko please listen to me, Tamo has great potential to be a great hero, hell, Izuku does too, but more for support when Izuku was attacked by the Sludge Villain. Tamo rushed in and moved in on his own to help him, and when I defeated the villain got to look at the journal that Izuku wrote in, he'd written down a lot of pro heroes' quirks and how some of them could make them better they both have great potential to do amazing things Inko."

Inko sat there for a minute. She knows what he is saying is true, but she was still hesitant just accepting that Toshinori would give this big responsibility to her elder son. "It's okay, Mom. I'll accept this responsibility."

Inko was surprised to hear this even, Izuku was a little taken aback by this, and she turned to her oldest son and saw him have a small smile on his face "My dream is to become one of the world's greatest heroes with this power I can achieve that dream!" Tamo said "Yeah, my dream is to become the first quirkless hero, but because the first quirkless support hero is just as good and will be a great stepping stone for other quirkless people!" Izuku adds. Inko looked at both of her sons and smiled. "Okay then, if that's your dream, I'll allow it, but please be careful."

Toshinori and the boys smiled and cheered "Alright, starting tomorrow, I am going to start your training, so let's all get some rest!" Tamo and Inko headed upstairs, leaving Toshinori and Izuku alone, Toshinori was going to head up when Izuku stopped him.

"Dad, is there no way for a quirkless person to become a hero?" Izuku asked with a sad face. Toshinori looked at his son and frowned. "I am sorry, Izuku, but like I said before, you really do need to have a quirk to be a hero."

Izuku was saddened by the news, but Toshinori hugged him. "Get some rest." He said as he headed upstairs. Izuku headed upstairs. "That's not true." Izuku turned and saw Tamo waiting for him. "What All Might said is not true. I am sure you can become a hero, bro." Tamo says with a smile on his face.

Izuku offered a sad smile in return "Maybe, but being a support hero is not that bad either." Tamo sighed and patted Izuku's head."Get some rest. We got a long day ahead of us." And so the brothers went into their room and headed to sleep.
