He vows to kill those who have wronged him, planning to take vengeance upon the God who did this to him. But is that the only tragedy that will befall, the only God that he will vow to vengeance against? What truly awaits this man in this new world fraught with dangers and the unknown? Will he let go of his anger and live his life, or will he be consumed by rage and continuously seek his vengeance? Will he successfully kill a God? Read this man's story. Also of note, Harem will not be large. And there will be gory and or dark moments in this book, so read at your own discretion. ----------------------------------------- Thank you for giving my book a try. First Contact

Three months have passed since the day he sent the God of Darkness running scared like a rat cornered by a cat. Arthur had actually started to enjoy his journey, traveling in the general direction that he felt the scent of fear coming from.

Arthur would relax in the sun and bathe in the moonlight as if they were luxuries that he did not want to forget again. He felt the soothing breeze that rubbed against his skin caused by the warm winds or the sounds of the rustling grass as he walked through untraveled terrain.

It was the simple things that he did not even realize he missed until he had felt them once more after so long. These things he had taken for granted when he lived on Earth, but he lived a thousand years in a fake realm, one where the only true thing was the monsters that roamed.

It was a simple three months; at least for him, they were a simple, peaceful time as he traveled. But to every other living thing, well, they were living in sheer terror as he passed by.

Every monster or beast that was in the regions he passed, they simply laid down, refusing to budge an inch as they felt the aura of an apex predator. A being that they knew they stood no chance against. A true monster, even compared to them.

That is why not a single thing bothered Arthur as he traveled. Every living thing simply gave up as he passed. Laying down, refusing to do anything until he left. Not moving a muscle, not eating, not sleeping, just laying there as if to play dead.

And, well, Arthur paid no attention to it, as he only cared about possible threats, and as he never felt any, he simply ignored everything else.

Due to this, he simply traveled forth without a single incident to bar his path. And so he indulged in the simple pleasures along the way. This was the most free he felt in the last thousand years of his life.

Then after the three months passed, he saw something he did not expect to see anytime soon. In fact, he even forgot they existed in this world, as it wasn't something he even particularly cared about anymore due to his need for vengeance.

Other people. Specifically a group of humans. Or at least what he thought was humans, as that is what they looked like.

They particularly looked like farmers, as they worked in some fields and did what they normally did every day. But this day was about to be completely different for them.

Of course, no one noticed him yet as he was still a ways away, and only because of his spectacular superhuman-like vision that he noticed these humans from a couple dozen miles away.

So with his mind now curious, he stepped forward in their direction. Easily coming upon their location in a short matter of time. Quicker than any normal human would have traveled that distance.

And he was finally within sight of the human farmers.

At first, it was pure confusion that marred the faces of the first farmers who took notice of the giant figure of a man who quickly approached them.

Then that confusion turned into pure horror and terror that threatened to break their feeble minds. The next thing that happened made them all snap.

"Hello there!" Arthur said out to them as he approached, in his booming, powerful voice.

And so they all fled in an absolute panic as if the abyss of hell itself was before them. Nothing else mattered but trying to run and escape whatever it was that was before them.

"Ashta va talong!" Many of them yell as they run, forgetting everything else.

To them, all they saw was this eight-foot tall humanoid-looking man who was as bare as the day he was born, swinging a one-eyed dragon between his legs. This thing that looked like a man, his body covered in horrendous scars that no normal man could ever survive. Then there was the long caveman hair that covered most of his face and flowed down to his lower back, a beard equally as wild and came down to the middle of his chest. His muscles bulged and sculpted to perfection that he radiated danger as if he was born between a barbarian and a God.

And to top it off, this monster spoke! It spoke in what seemed like a language but no language they knew of.

So they did the only thing they could think of doing, which was running like hell away from this disaster. They didn't even care in which direction they ran, for many even ran towards a forest, while others to a city in the distance. All they knew was that they had to get away. Because of what little instincts these humans had, they could tell that this figure was death walking.

Arthur just stood there scratching the back of his head as he began to walk forward towards the city in the distance, as he could see the towering walls.

Soon with his walking pace, he overtook the fleeing farmers as he simply walked past them as they fled in terror, and he made his way towards the city. And the farmers, not even realizing that he was no longer behind them but in front of them, continued to flee in the same direction.

And then, he was in front of the city where a line of people stood awaiting entry into the city as guards checked them before they entered. At least, that was what was happening before Arthur appeared.

But everything changed in an instant once he was within view near the city entrance. The first to notice him were the guards, as they not only saw him approach but could also feel the aura of danger that came off of him. After all, they were well-trained guards and had dealt with many beasts and monsters to defend this city.

Another group of guards came rushing out of the entryway, yelling many things towards the other guards and towards the normal citizens as they formed up in front of Arthur to block his way.

"Hlatha! Svana uth plorotha!" The guard at the lead yelled out towards Arthur as the regular citizens looked on in curiosity. But all the guards were already sweating with nervousness and a creeping fear that started to well up within their souls.
