Zusammenfassung

A bitter old man gets tossed into the world of Tamriel, as a descendant of a religious madman no less, watch as he delves into the secrets of magic and explores the wonders of this danger-filled world, and with luck and a lot of magic juice possibly even beyond. This is my first attempt at writing a fanfic (or anything for that matter). English is not my native language but I think there shouldn't be too many mistakes. The story will focus on magic and exploration with most likely a bit of romance later on. The upload schedule won't be rigid, but expect five chapters a week. Elite Task Force is Seriously Overworked, Understaffed, and Underpaid

In the tumultuous times following a ginormous multi-dimensional portal tearing open above the Mariana Trench. Celeste becomes one of the fortunate few 13% of humans able to handle the newly introduced principles of magic. Leaving behind a mundane life, she agrees to join the small subset of now-gifted people that wish to learn and develop these new powers with the help of the Cross Dimensional Alliance. While they're at it, they'll also help the existing species of the CDA research magic’s effects upon, as well as the technologies of, humanity. Once some time spent learning and training has passed, she has joined the Unified Dimensional Preservation Force to help further expand their organization’s efforts. But, before long, she discovers that perhaps this all isn’t very far off from the self-motivated capitalist corporations of her homeworld. At the very least, negotiating with new exotic species is more fun than being a regular customer service rep, and exploring bizarre new worlds to gather resources is much more thrilling than working in a warehouse, even if it is proportionately more dangerous as well. It doesn’t hurt that some of these new forms of intelligent life are pretty damn hot, too. Multi-novel discord for myself and a small handful of other authors, come on in and enjoy memes with us. Maybe even actually talk about our novels too: https://discord.gg/BZcy7ByzT6

Living a normal assassin life

The story begins with an ordinary girl, leading a normal life. She's in her early twenties, works a 9-5 job, and spends her evenings hanging out with friends or cuddling her black ragdoll. That’s her life until she is unexpectedly recruited by a secret government facility to become an assassin. At first, the idea seems daunting and terrifying, but the girl is quickly drawn into the world of espionage and covert operations. They explain that they've been keeping tabs on her for some time and believe she has the potential to become one of their most skilled operatives. After a lot of consideration, she decides to take the leap and join their team. From that moment on, her life changes completely. She's whisked away to a secret training facility where she's put through grueling physical and mental training. She learns how to fight, how to shoot, how to blend into any environment, and how to think on her feet. She's also trained in the art of deception, learning how to create false identities and blend into any situation. She then soon enough meets other operatives who become her friends and allies. These operatives come from diverse backgrounds and each has their unique set of skills, making them a formidable foe to pick at. Once her training is complete, she's sent on missions around the world, where she uses her new skills to take out targets deemed a threat to national security. She's given new identities for each mission, allowing her to blend in and get close to her targets before taking them out. She becomes an expert in reconnaissance, learning how to gather intelligence and plan her attacks with precision. Together with her allies, they embark on dangerous missions, taking on some of the world's most dangerous criminals and terrorists. Despite the excitement of her new life, the idea of constantly living in the shadows takes its toll on her, especially the friendships she's formed. She becomes paranoid and constantly on guard, never knowing who to trust or what danger may be lurking around the corner. Her relationships with the outside world and family suffer, as she can never reveal her true identity or the work she's doing. Overall, while she may have accepted the offer to become an assassin in search of adventure, she quickly realizes that it's a life filled with danger, isolation, and moral ambiguity. With each new mission, the girl's skills are put to the test and she must make tough choices. It's a life that she can never fully escape from, even if she wanted to. [____ _ __ __] Will she be able to keep her assassin life and succeed in her missions, or will her feelings get in the way of her decision making? Only time will tell in this thrilling tale of a normal girl living a normal life as an assassin.

Twisted Realities

"Hello there, you lovely little primitive creature you, your incredibly handsome scholar, Null is here. Not just to be the most dashing, charming man in existence, but who with his incredible kindness, is here to make this primitive summary just for you. " "You'll soon experience increased dopamine levels as you're greeted by the pure joy of knowing, knowing the truth of your pitiful, small, and pointlessly inconsequential existence as it is transferred through your sensory organs, to be carved deep inside your mind. " "Oh, what's that, this isn’t a summary? Wait a moment, WAIT, You mean to tell me, ME, THAT A SUMMARY IS NOT SUPPOSED TO POINT OUT THE READERS INSIGNIFICANCE!? Well I say NAY TO THOSE SACRIGELIGIOUS WORDS! IN FACT IT IS THE LIES OF THOSE CONFOUNDING CORPORATIONS, yes, IT’S ALL THEM, EVERYTHING IS THEIR FAULT AFTER ALL!” *Cough* "... Anyways, moving on." "Being the incredibly generous being known as myself, I couldn't, in good conscience, keep all this juicy knowledge to myself. I mean it’s almost a felony not to share, and well wouldn’t you know you little meme savages seem to enjoy these primitive words.” *Cough* I need my daily dose dose of verbal abuse, go on hit me harder. I need to get high off the fumes of troll rage. *Cough* “Hm? Sorry did you say something just now? No, well I’m sure it was nothing.” ...Of course I think that's enough suspense for now wouldn’t you say! Now, I'm sure you insignificant multi-celled organisms are currently biting your appendages, precariously balanced at the edge of your seating apparatuses, eagerly anticipating the promised summary. Well, without further ado let my eloquently worded primitive language skills wow your minds!” Standing atop a steep cliff face is a lone woman, her hair a dark blue, crystal clear blue eyes, and a weathered face. Her toned and scared body is completely covered by a scavenged outfit with a self-evident history of wear and tear. Looking over the forest top towards the horizon and setting sun, the woman can't help but stop for a moment to ponder the nature of her life. 'It was all so simple once, living in the mountains, just the three of us, me, Pa', and Ma. We laughed, we celebrated, everything was nice, normal, safe, FINE. Yet, I suppose it was always there, that niggling feeling in the back of my mind. Even if I never wanted to acknowledge it existed, it was the fear born from bearing witness to one of those non-existent monsters at one time or another.' 'I think I'd always known in the back of my mind that the world wasn't entirely right, If I had just faced the truth sooner then maybe, just maybe... No nothing would have changed would, not in the face of those twisted things and their splinters. Now, there's no time for regrets, what's done is done, and looking back will only invite their brand of madness faster.' Suddenly swiveling her head behind she stared into the forest at a section of think underbrush. The small crunch of leaves was the only indication that a hidden trespasser was there. Thinking for a moment she shouted “Come out". After a moments hesitation, a young woman with golden hair and glittering green eyes emerges from the forest. She seems to be slightly apprehensive, but after a moments hesitation she speaks, her voice soft and gentle "The guys were saying we needed to go, one of them swore they caught the scent for a few seconds." sighing quietly the unnamed woman slowly looks back towards the setting sun taking moment for her silent resolution 'I will survive, I will live, I will respect the fallen, and help the living, but, I WILL NEVER FORGOT THOSE THINGS, AND I WILL HUNT EVERY LAST ONE DOWN IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO," The woman slowly turns back walking towards the forest. She nods to friend before responding. "Alright, let's get back and pack up before we off again." Her friend completely unaware of the women's inner monologue simply follows her lead as they head deeper into the forest.

Absolute banger, pure perfection, totally not word-vomit. Jk, I am totally new to writing and there will be mistakes, but I think I learn somewhat quickly from my mistakes so it should get progressively better, I hope you give it a chance.

A FF with a lot of potential reminds me of the early days of Altering Skyrim, maybe I'm setting the bar too high? I don't know, but it's very interesting so far, it's definitely going to differ from AS in that here the character grows more normally, and I deduce that there will be no kingdom building, but it will be more focused on adventures. I love the logic with which he explains magic without departing from tradition, the writing is very good and the few errors improve as the chapters go by, the characters become endearing... in short, it's going very well and it looks better every time!!!

writing quality is decent, nothing too crazy, stability of updates seems very impressive, story development could have some improvement, character design is horrible for me. i do not like how the "115" year old acts like a teenager trying to act old, breaks the immersion for me completely. world background is obviously 5 stars (it's tamriel come on)

I've been searching for a good Skyrim fic, let me tell you something man, this is a VERY good one. If this really your first fic then wow really.. Really hope you'd not drop this fanfic, and I just have to ask if there would be any NTR, I have readed 2 fanfic with 100 chapters of romance just for the MC to get cheated on by his girl, so please answer me dude..

Humbuub
HumbuubLv4Humbuub

This feels more reading a walkthrough, MC does something - his stats slightly increase. There's really no plot that drives the story, and the bunch of OCs don't help to make this a believable Skyrim world.

The author has clearly put much time and effort into researching the background and lore of Skyrim the characters are very well depicted the story is excellent and the plot twists are very good I would recommend

it is a very driving story. I've spent many hours reading it now and I'll probably spend many more. overall I recommend it to many people it's quite nice the only bad part about it is sometimes the words are wrong or misspelled

Sergio_Garcia6188
Sergio_Garcia6188Lv4Sergio_Garcia6188

This has been a great surprise of how good this is. The best part would be the way the author depicts the world in a scale much much larger than in the games. Dungeon that would of been clear able with just the main character takes and entire army which is just so cool. Another great thing is how the whole reincarnation thing is basically not brought up enough to matter and how different the story is from the game. The author has done a absolutely amazing job of immersing me into his version of the elder scrolls universe with the way he depicts it. 11/10 best fan fiction I have ever read.

Probably one of the best if not the best fanfiction I've read in quite some time, and I read a lot, so give it a try if you haven't and are reading reviews to decide. I'd trow cash instead of stones to the author if I had enough to spare.

Great Skyrim fanfic. The MC isn’t immediately OP and goes through the processes of gaining power and influence, yet he’s never been so weak that he’s been a complete pushover. Can’t wait for him to reach the pinnacle of Tamriel :). Overall, great writing quality, good comedy that has made me laugh out loud, and I’m genuinely anticipating more chapters. Cheers

BookDragonling

Fantastic story. The writing quality is great, the magic and world are interesting, the characters feel real and the system is more for tracking the MCs skills rather than making him OP. This is the best Skyrim character insert I've ever read.
