Skelengel; Tales Of The Boundless One [Not Updating]

When the universe creates a person, they are bestowed with certain traits that we, as mere humans, are aware of. Sportiness, the ability to work with computers, and creativity are all things we may obtain at creation. However, some of those talents extend far past the mortal realm of flesh and blood. They go all the way to your very soul, and these are the ones that we cannot see. These few are destined to become Boundless. And it just so happens that one was designated to die on the fateful day a new god took sight over the earth. This is the tale of Aaron Stone, the once businessman turned planetary traverser. Aided by himself and his potential, he plans to live out his life with peace of mind. However, the universe has it out for him, and it won't let him ever have true peace. However, someone from behind the shadows controls everything, and they have quite a distaste for Aaron Stone. They will try to make his life a living hell. Everything you read here is an account of something going on in the vast universe. Hell, who knows... It may even be YOU who takes his place in the future. Teamwork

At least, that's what you, Auth, thought would happen.

As the blinding light cleared away, you looked down upon the destruction you had caused with your smile plastered to your face. However, your smile fell off once you saw who was there.

Aaron Stone stood in between Soul and the light shards, using Ultimate Destruction to create a void of energy. The light had been absorbed into the black nothingness, leaving nothing but a floating ball of stolen energy in the palm of his hand. "Auth. Go to hell." Aaron said, the area around him turning monochrome. The ball of energy flew towards you at a speed you should have easily been able to dodge. However, for some reason, you couldn't move. The ball of energy hit you in the sternum, sending a violent explosion of light into your chest.

"Here, Soul," Aaron said to Soul, extending his hand out to his Corrupted counterpart. "Come on. Get up. We're still not done with Auth." Aaron reminded him as Soul took his hand, using it to stand up. "I thought I was going to die. Properly this time." Soul sighed, relieved that Aaron had come to his aid. "How did you even get here?"

"This is MY mind too, you know? Remember, this is OUR mind. I wasn't going to leave you off to die like that. However, if I had intervened too early, Auth would have been able to stop me from doing anything. That's why I'm here right now." Aaron explained, looking over towards you with murderous intent in his eyes. "I heard your speech all about fate. So, you want to test fate? I may only be at 30% Boundlessness, but I'll still kick your ass!" Aaron yelled as the aura in the room shifted.

The space around Aaron began to shimmer, his eyes swapping between multiple colours, as he prepared something big. Something unheard of.

"Soul. I want you to Corrupt me. If not, join up with my body, even if it's for just a moment. I need the power boost from the Corruption. After all, this guy is nothing like the 80% Boundless child. We need every bit of help we can get!" Aaron told Soul. "Alright! Let's go!" Soul yelled, his body disappearing and re-appearing as part of Aaron's body.

"Let's fucking go, Auth!" Aaron yelled, unsheathing Tsuyukagiri from his waist. Soul's influence had spread over half of his body, the usual pink Corruption turning into a much more violent red. "Rageful Incarnation!" Aaron yelled, gaining another power boost from the crimson Corruption. Aaron rushed towards you, his eyes swapping between multiple colours. In all of your time observing him, he had never done that before, so you weren't able to predict what he would do.

You stood up as your body was seemingly unharmed from the attack. You looked at Aaron, trying to find a way to dodge him, but your body wasn't moving, at least so that you could avoid an inevitable attack. It was almost as if he was continuously holding you in place before you could negate Aaron's abilities.

Aaron's sword shone a violent purple as you realised what he was trying to do. He was trying to perform his Ten Thousand Telekinetic Strikes. "Not a chance in hell!" You yell, breaking through the movement barrier. Your hand extended towards Aaron, trying to grab at him, but this is what he wanted. Aaron Stone had allowed you to move. Memica then announced something across the void.

{Tsuyukagiri: Neurogenic Illusions has been learned!}

"What the fuck does neurogenic mean?" You asked as Aaron swung his sword at your neck. The blade passed through your skin without leaving a mark. This caused you to look down towards your neck with a grin, although you couldn't see it. "You fucking idiot! You can't do jack SHIT to me!" Your distorted voice yelled as Aaron stared you down. "Oh, you sure? Check again." Aaron taunted you, prompting you to look into the air with curiosity lining your face.

Seven translucently-green illusions of swords were floating around you, each of them trailing a purple aura. "Meet the Neurogenic Illusions, combined with my Ten Thousand Telekinetic Strikes!" Aaron yelled, the illusions slicing away at your flesh.

The trails of seven different swords lined your body, and as you moved forward in an attempt to try and break through the attack, the effect of Ten Thousand Telekinetic Strikes activated eight times. It was one for each blade cut.

The sight of eighty thousand purple slices cutting into your body was something not even Soul could tear his eyes away from. Soul stood up, his leg reformed, and his body pieced back together. "Well, it looks like you did it, Aaron. Auth is not surviving that." Soul commented as Aaron Stone stared at you, waiting to see what happened.

"No. It's not over yet, Soul." Aaron responded, rushing towards you again, Tsuyukagiri in his hands. The seven clones of Tsuyukagiri closely followed behind him, preparing to take you down. As the light from the eighty thousand cuts slowly took over your vision, you decided to let loose your final attack.

As Aaron Stone reached you, a blinding white light shot out from your eyes and mouth, engulfing the entire void in a pearlescent supernova. Aaron Stone and Soul were sent flying backwards, unable to see what was happening.

There you stood, in the centre of it all, the sights and sounds of a blinding supernova engulfing your mind. There wasn't much to see but pure white, an absence of colour, and the sounds of blissful quiet. "I've done too much. It's time I head out." You say to yourself, dragging yourself and the blinding white light out of Aaron's mind. It was too soon to be doing such a thing. You shouldn't have needed to pull out that distraction to win.

"I underestimated them. I guess the power of my underlings has some carry into my world." You admit before disappearing into the unknown universe, leaving everything inside of Aaron's mind alone.

For now, at least.

So, what do you guys think of my take on first-third person writing?
