Unwanted Company

Inside Soul's mind, stuff was going down.

Soul stared at the creature that had tried to fight him after he fell unconscious, trying to think of what he should do with this creature that intruded his private mind space. "Hey, Memica! Are you there?" Soul yelled out, wondering if Memica, the System, would be able to hear him.

[Yes, yes, I can hear you! No need to shout. After all, you're inside your own mind. With any volume at all, I'll be able to listen to you. Plus, since you're here, I can speak aloud instead of just to you.] Memica responded before a voice echoed around the void.

"Testing! Can you guys hear me?" Memica's voice bounced around the mind space as Soul let a smile break out on his face. "Hey, Memica! What should we do about this guy in my head?" Soul asked, causing Memica to think about the kinds of stuff they could do. "Well, Aaron came here with the intentions of being a decent person, so I can't, or won't, suggest any torturous methods, despite knowing how the two of you are. If you want to kill him, a painless death is what you should give him. However, if you DON'T want to kill him, I can suggest other options." Memica announced, a tinge of satisfaction lining her voice. She was clearly as interested in seeing what Soul would do as he was in doing it.

"I'd recommend turning into one of your servants since then he'd serve a purpose. You could do that via 'GHOUL' or your Corruption. After all, with that, you'd be able to control them. You did something similar with those animals while walking towards the Beastpeople's village, which was promptly destroyed by Ronin. Otherwise, you could try turning him into a spectral or ethereal being via GHOUL. After all, he couldn't do anything without your permission then. The loneliness of being unable to feel the touch of a physical creature again would surely drive him mad." Memica suggested, making up the final part. After all, everyone would still be able to see him. However, Memica said it with such confidence that a look of fear spread across the creature's face.

"Oh? I like the sound of Corrupting this guy, Memica! How should we go around doing it? After all, there should be a way to make him as useful as possible by Corruption, right?" Soul asked, curious as to what would happen if he Corrupted the monster by fear. "Well, for the strongest Corruption, you'd need it to be someone who loves you, and you love back. Friendship comes after that, while fear takes third place in the position of strength. However, base power also comes into it since Corruption only amplifies strength." Memica explained as Soul looked deep into the eyes of the fearful creature standing before him.

"What's this I hear about Corrupting my subordinate?" A deep voice emanated around the room, scaring both Soul and Memica. They both knew who this was, and they weren't at all ready to deal with this bastard.

"AuthRecSys!" Soul yelled, pointing at you as you descended from the sky. A laugh unlike your own rose from your throat, causing you to menacingly laugh at Soul. "So, you really want to test your luck against me, the one who controls this creature?" You menacingly ask Soul with a devious smile on your face. You point your hand towards your own head. "I am the one you'll have to deal with if you try and perform such a stunt."

"I couldn't give a SHIT what you think!" Soul yelled back at you, pointing his black finger towards you. "I was listening to you when you last talked to Aaron. He or a friend would die? That's a bluff. After all, you'll not have a need to drag anyone else into this." Soul threatened, getting ready to charge at you. "Oh, does the little Corrupted Soul have a problem? Does he need someone to keep watch over him?" You taunt him, your voice becoming ever-more taunting and rude. "Just watch me," Soul responded, disappearing.

As the sound of air shifting behind you hit your ears, you knew that he had teleported. You swung your hand around, the back of your hand impacting against Soul's leg, instantly destroying it.

There's a rule in the universe. Matter cannot ever be destroyed. However, you, AuthRecSys, can bend specific ones to your will. After all, you are the overseer for the universe.

Soul flew backwards, trying to find his missing leg as he went through the infinite void in his mind. However, there was no leg to be found. His flesh, and all of the matter that it was constructed of, had been destroyed. You appeared behind Soul, tapping your fingers against the underside of his chin. "Now, if you remember correctly, all of the damage you sustain in here is transferred out there. Unless you can form a leg in here, you won't have one out there when you wake up." You whispered into his ear as you and Soul flew through the air before spinning him around and grabbing him by the neck. "It wasn't a bluff. The future that I predicted was what happens. However, that CAN'T happen if I kill you first. You aren't invincible, you Corrupted Soul." You threaten him as shards of light appear inside of his body.

The shards expanded, turning into spikes. Soul let out an ear-piercing scream of pain as you plastered a smile to your face, somehow smiling even more than before. "I bet you're wondering how you can feel pain, right? Well, ever heard of a thing called a 'Pain Scale'? Yeah, I can change the level of pain people feel! You know how you rarely feel pain? You were only feeling 0.01% of the pain you're supposed to endure. Now you're at 100%, and your body can't cope with it!" You announce, throwing Soul to the ground, shards of light appearing in the air above Soul. "Well, it won't have to for much longer."

"This is goodbye. You had a good run, but it's time to say goodbye!" You yell, pointing your index finger at Soul. The shards of light flew towards him, and a blinding flash of light erupted from the impact. Soul was no more.
