Another Pregnancy. Another Promise. Another Plot.

"Mother promised her the first born of every generation." Freya told her.

Dropping another bomb on Caroline.

"Is she crazy?" She almost shouted.

"Shhh!" Freya said, "The thing I came to warn you about is…That I saw a vision."

"A vision?" Caroline yelped.

"Both the children. Your daughter." She told Caroline. "And my son. They will be born at the same time."

"And your aunt will come for them." Caroline realized. "She will take both of them."

"Caroline." Freya interrupted. "Dahlia doesn't know about your daughter. But, she will. Soon. As soon as she is born Dahlia will come for her."

"I c….." Caroline didn't know what to say.

"I just came to warn you." Freya said, "I will come back. As soon as I can figure out my plan! I will come back."

"Did you get married, Freya?" Caroline asked her.

She felt immediately concerned. For herself. For her unborn daughter…she was also overjoyed that her baby would be a girl.

She felt concerned. She was concerned for Freya. She was concerned for her unborn son. She was scared.

Her life was complicated enough.

"I did." She replied.

But her eyes filled with tears didn't convince her.

"What happened?"

"Dahlia killed him."

"WHAT?"

Caroline was distressed.

"I have to go." She took Caroline's hands. "But, be careful….Caroline! Tell Nik and the others I love them!"

She told her.

"Tell Nik?" Caroline asked. "The others? Freya….I am sorry. But, your mother has never told them about you."

"She hasn't?"

Tears became prominent in her eyes.

"She didn't tell them about me?" She repeated, "She didn't...."

"I am sorry, Freya." She really was. "I am so sorry."

"It's okay..!" She said, hurriedly. "I have to go now!"

Freya Mikaelson snatched her hand, and she ran away.

Caroline watched her leave.

In how much darkness Esther Mikaelson would keep her family in? It was beyond Caroline's wildest thoughts.

"What happened, love?" Klaus Mikaelson came outside, looking for her. '

He had a concerned look on his face.

"No..Nothing." She said, distant, "I needed a little air."

She debated if she should tell him everything.

Caroline Forbes-Mikaelson fell asleep, without making a decision. She was awakened by shouting. It was almost dawn.

Klaus had woken up, and gone for a run outside. He enjoyed the pain of turning into a wolf.

She came outside. She followed the screaming. It was Klaus. She ran.

"Nik!" She collided with Henrick.

Finn and Mikael were tying up Klaus while Esther Mikaelson stood at the other end.

"What are they doing?" She asked. "What….?"

"Nik is a wolf…or vampwolf, I don..." Henrick said, "Father just found out, he is forcing Mother to suppress his power."

"What?"

They found out? THEY FOUND OUT!

"No…Please," Klaus was crying.

Caroline froze. He was crying. He never cried. She couldn't bear to see that sight.

"No!" She ran. "Please, don't do this!"

Esther Mikaelson shook her head. There was nothing she would do.

"Caroline." Klaus turned towards her. "Save me!"

"Father!" Caroline came towards Mikael.

She only called him 'father' when she needed something. She just needed Klaus's life to be spared. She used her slight resemblance to Freya as her advantage.

"Please, don't do this!"

The softness in his eyes for Caroline, that had been there from the day they had met, was now gone. He slapped her so hard that Caroline fell back.

"Don't call me 'father'" He spat.

"DON'T HURT HER!" Klaus shouted. Tears brimmed in his eyes. "Anything….just not her."
