3rd Person POV

"He's the one I'm going to marry?" I said in disbelief. As if I was surprised by what I found out and I’m sure Henry would be more surprised. Well, who wouldn't right?? I mean, he's Mr. Valento, and he will just going to marry someone like me, right?

I’m just a poor creature, why would he marry someone like me? As far as I know our family has suffered in Mommy's generation. So why does he even have to marry me? He can only get a mansion when the wedding comes.

I'm not saying that the price of our mansion is cheap but he's too rich to even want a mansion. The value of the mansion was only a coin to him.



"Yes, is there a problem Miss. Jade?"

Attorney Tuason said while Mr. Valento was quietly watching us. It seemed to be watching my every move as if I was going to do something bad that was unpleasant.

"Nothing but is he really the one I will marry?"

I asked again. If it was just a dream I would have woken up because this is the dream I will never want to return to.

I don't like him because there's something about him that I don't like. If another woman almost commits suicide just to marry someone like him, then change me, because I will never dream of someone like him.

"Yes Miss Jade, everything is fine, the wedding will happen after a month," said Attorney Tuason in a serious tone and bid farewell after saying a few things because he said he needed to go to an important meeting.

And as expected, Mr. Valento and I were left alone in the restaurant..



I looked at the man I now had to marry. I was blown away deeply. I can't believe I'm going to marry him. What will happen when that day comes?

"It seems like you don't want to marry me huh? I already have everything but it looks like you still want to back off," he said seriously.



It was as if I had eaten my tongue because I could not answer, especially since I knew his prediction was correct.



"Is it because of Henry? The man who looks like a limp?" I don't know if I'm just imagining it but there seems to be anger in its eyes.

What would he care if Henry was the reason? And what right did he have to insult Henry like that? Is he crazy already?

"You have no right to insult Henry," I said angrily.

"So am I right? Henry is the main reason why you don't want to marry me?"

"If I say he's the main reason then what do you care?" I said sarcastically.

He looked at me angrily and stretched out on me. I held my breath at what he did.

"Remember this Jade, no matter what else you do, you will still fall for me." He left after saying all that while I was left speechless.
