Chapter 10: No Longer in Darkness

Hello everyone, I'm back with a new chapter! This chapter focuses more on the past of Itachi Uchiha and the Uchiha clan. From the next chapter, I will continue with the canon storyline. I don't own Naruto or One Piece, so enjoy the chapter, and don't forget to leave reviews if there's anything you liked or if you have any feedback. Enjoy, like, and follow!

Until the next chapter! Bye.

Itachi found himself sitting on the surface of the water, confused. "Where am I?" he asked aloud.

A voice from behind him answered, "You are here. How is your new life?"

Itachi turned, shocked to see the speaker. "Who are you?"

With a gentle smile, the figure responded, "I came to save your other half soul."

Itachi, bewildered, asked, "My other half soul? What are you talking about? And who are you?"

The figure smiled warmly. "I am God."

Itachi gave him a questioning look and said, "God? What god?" Then he observed the man closely. He was an old man wearing white clothes, floating while sitting and holding a staff. He had three eyes, with two Rinnegan and one red Rinnegan on his forehead. Itachi gasped, "Is that Rinnegan?"

The old man chuckled and said, "Let's clear your confusion. I am Hagoromo Otsutsuki."

Itachi widened his eyes and muttered, "Otsutsuki? Like Kaguya Otsutsuki?"

Hagoromo nodded. "Yes, she is my mother."

Itachi, in shock, suddenly bowed to him. "I apologize for my rudeness."

Hagoromo said, "It's all right. So, Itachi, do you know how you got here?"

Itachi shook his head. Hagoromo gave him a serious look and said, "Your half soul is still in the shinobi world."

Itachi was shocked. "How? That's not possible..." He stopped mid-sentence, gasping. "Edo Tensei?"

Hagoromo, with a serious face, said, "You catch on quickly, as expected from a prodigy. I was right to give you another chance."

Itachi looked at him with wide eyes. "You gave me a chance? Why?"

Hagoromo gave him a warm look. "You sacrificed yourself to protect your village, became a spy, and gave insights to your village. You lived a selfless life, so I made the decision to give you another life."

Itachi said, "But still, I killed my own kin. I should be in hell."

Hagoromo said, "You would have been, but I gave you another chance to see how you would live if given more time."

Itachi, respectful, asked, "Then why did you send me to another world and not my own?"

Hagoromo replied, "What's done is done. I can't change it. Sometimes things should be that way; otherwise, there would be a big trouble."

Itachi remained silent, processing the information. Hagoromo continued, "Itachi, your brother knows the truth."

Itachi anticipated this and stayed silent. Hagoromo added, "He is influenced by hatred and with that, he killed Danzo."

Itachi's eyes widened. "He killed Danzo?" He thought and gave a small smile. "He became strong."

Hagoromo said, "You should also know that Sasuke is the reincarnation of my son, Indra."

Itachi's eyes widened further. "And he is also consumed by darkness. I know that other half will stop Sasuke."

Itachi said, "I will try to, but I already have faith in someone."

Hagoromo smiled, "Naruto Uzumaki?"

Itachi nodded. "As a surprise, he is also the reincarnation of Asura."

Itachi's eyes widened. "He was the one who created the tailed beasts?"

Hagoromo nodded. Itachi then asked, "Hagoromo, who used that jutsu on me?"

Hagoromo replied, "That was Kabuto."

Itachi, not shocked this time, asked, "Am I in his control?"

Hagoromo shook his head. "No."

Itachi sighed in relief. "That's good. How long will I be like this in here?"

Hagoromo said, "I don't know. If you spend one day in the shinobi world, one hour will pass in this inner world."

Itachi sighed again, and Hagoromo asked, "So, how is your life there? There are interesting people, right?"

Itachi, remembering his new friends, smiled. "Yes, they are a bunch of good people."

Meanwhile, on the Thousand Sunny, the crew wore solemn expressions. Even Luffy seemed subdued. Zoro stood at the top of the ship, keeping watch for any enemy ships. Usopp sat in a corner, looking anxious. Sanji was in the kitchen, preparing food for everyone, while Luffy sat quietly on the bow of the ship. Franky who was fishing for the food Nami was worried about Itachi, and Chopper was in the library, researching Itachi's condition. Robin stayed by Itachi's side, her expression filled with concern.

After some time, Robin came outside, and all the crew members looked at her expectantly. She just shook her head.

"It's been two days now," Usopp said, his voice tinged with worry. "How long will it take for him to wake up?"

Luffy's eyes were determined. "I believe in him. He'll make it."

Franky added, "Yeah, he's strong. He'll pull through in no time."

Everyone nodded, though their concern was evident. Robin frowned and said, "I'm going to my room," before walking away.

"Robin was very close to him," Usopp commented.

Nami nodded. "Yes, poor Robin. She must be hurt."

Sanji came out with a tray of food and looked at Robin as she passed by. "Food is ready," he called out.

Robin, passing by, said quietly, "I'm not hungry. You can eat," and she closed her door behind her. Sanji felt sad, watching her go.

"Let her be," Zoro said as he came down.

Sanji nodded, understanding the need to give Robin some space. The atmosphere was heavy with concern, but they all held onto the hope that Itachi would recover soon.

Chopper emerged from the library, holding a book. "I've been researching Itachi's condition, but there's not much information about it in our medical texts."

Nami sighed. "We need to find a way to help him. There must be something we can do."

Luffy clenched his fists. "We'll do whatever it takes. We're not losing another crewmate."

Usopp looked at Chopper. "Is there anything we can do to help him wake up faster?"

Chopper shook his head. "All we can do is wait and hope he recovers on his own."

Franky placed a hand on Usopp's shoulder. "He's strong, Usopp. We've seen him pull through tough situations before. He'll do it again."

Sanji set the tray of food down and sighed. "It's hard seeing everyone like this. We need to stay strong for Itachi."

Nami looked at the horizon. "We need to stay focused. We have to be ready for anything."

Zoro nodded. "Right. We can't let our guard down."

Luffy stood up, his resolve clear in his eyes. "Itachi will wake up. I know he will. Until then, we keep moving forward."

A few days passed, and the situation remained the same. Robin spent most of her time in Itachi's room, holding his hand while she slept. The other crew members visited often to check on him. Chopper continued his daily examinations. One day, Luffy came to Itachi's room, saw Robin, frowned, and left. Zoro also visited occasionally, offering Robin company and reassurance.

"He will get better," Zoro said. "I have a hunch. Don't worry." As he turned to leave, he added, "Eat some food. You need to stay healthy."

Robin gave a sad smile. "Okay, I will."

As Zoro was about to exit, he noticed Itachi's finger twitch. His eyes widened. "Robin, I think I saw his finger move!"

Robin looked at Itachi and saw the same. Her eyes widened in shock. "Zoro, go call Chopper!"

Zoro rushed out and shouted, "Chopper, come quick! Itachi's fingers are moving!"

Everyone's eyes widened, and they gathered in Itachi's room. Chopper examined Itachi and, with a mix of shock and relief, announced, "His blindness is gone! It's like he has new eyes."

Nami was concerned. "What happened, Chopper?"

Chopper replied, "I'm not entirely sure. It could be because of the strain on his eyes."

As they discussed, Itachi's arm moved. Robin, holding his hand, said tearfully, "It looks like he's waking up."

Everyone watched as Itachi slowly opened his eyes. He looked around at the worried faces and smiled weakly. "Hi, guys."

Immediately, he felt an intense headache, as if someone were hitting his head with a hammer. Chopper urged, "Calm down, Itachi. Just relax and take deep breaths."

Robin held his hand tightly. "Hang in there, Itachi."

Itachi slowly remembered the memories of his other half-soul and the pain began to subside. Chopper asked, "Are you okay now?"

Itachi nodded but couldn't help but cry. Everyone was shocked. Robin, concerned, asked, "What happened? Does it still hurt?" She placed a hand on his head.

Zoro asked, "What's wrong?"

Luffy, trying to lighten the mood, said, "He must be hungry. He hasn't eaten in five days!"

Nami pulled his cheek. "Not everyone is like you, Luffy."

Usopp asked, "What happened, Itachi?"

Chopper looked at Itachi with concern. Sanji, returning from the kitchen, handed him a plate of food. "Here, Itachi. Eat this."

Itachi wiped his eyes, gave a small smile, and began to eat. Luffy, from the back, said, "I told you he'd be back."

Nami asked, "What happened to you, Itachi?"

Itachi replied, "I'm fine," then looked at Robin, who was in tears. "I'm sorry," he said to her, then to everyone else. "I'm sorry for making you all worry."

Robin hugged him tightly, crying. "You know how much I was worried for you. You fainted right in front of me, and I thought I lost you forever. I can't lose anyone else."

Itachi, taken aback, gently said, "I'm sorry."

Zoro, from behind, added, "It's good that you're awake. Now I can spar with you anytime. You give me some good competition."

Itachi smiled. "Yes."

Luffy, happy, said, "I knew you'd be back. Good to have you back, Itachi," extending his hand.

As they shook hands, Itachi's expression turned serious. "Do you really want me in this crew?"

Everyone was shocked. Luffy asked, "What do you mean?"

Itachi explained, "A person like me doesn't deserve to be with you guys. You're all good people, and I'm a murderer."

Everyone's eyes widened. Luffy asked, "You killed people?"

Itachi nodded. "Robin, you wanted to hear about my past. I will tell you now. After you hear my story, you can decide if I should stay. If you want me to leave, I won't object. Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Chopper, Robin, Sanji—you all have the right to decide."

Luffy, with a serious tone, said, "Okay, we'll hear your story."

Zoro asked, "You never wanted to tell us before. Why now?"

Itachi replied, "I don't want to have any regrets in this life."

Sanji said, "Alright. I'll get the table ready."

The crew gathered, prepared to listen to Itachi's story, their faces a mix of curiosity and concern.

All were sitting at the dining table with mixed feelings. Itachi sat in front of Luffy. Robin and Zoro were beside him, while Nami, Sanji, Chopper, Usopp, and Franky sat across from him. Luffy broke the silence, "So, start with your story."

Itachi nodded. "To tell you my story, I need to explain some things first. Feel free to ask any questions, especially about my powers. One of the main things you need to know is that I am not from this world."

Everyone was shocked. Robin looked particularly taken aback.

"I'm from a world called the Shinobi World, specifically from a village called Konoha in the Land of Fire," Itachi continued.

Luffy looked at Nami. "Is there any island like that?"

Nami shook her head. "Not that I've heard of." She turned to Robin, who also shook her head.

"I have a power called chakra," Itachi explained. "You've seen me using it. What I do is because of chakra."

Sanji asked, "What about your eyes?"

Itachi nodded and began explaining, "These eyes are known as the Sharingan. It's a dojutsu primarily associated with the Uchiha clan. It's activated through intense emotional stress or trauma."

Nami asked, "So, it gets stronger with more trauma?"

"Exactly," Itachi replied.

Zoro asked, "How many stages does it have?"

Itachi activated his Sharingan, showing three tomoe. "It starts from a single tomoe, then double, and finally three tomoe."

Franky asked, "What's the main use of those eyes? I've only seen you use them a few times."

"This stage helps me in combat, providing predictive capabilities, allowing me to perfectly copy techniques, cast illusions, and even control an opponent's actions or extract information by locking eyes with them," Itachi explained.

Sanji remarked, "That's a powerful ability your clan has."

Itachi nodded. "Yes, but that's where the downfall began. Any other questions?"

Chopper asked, "What about the blindness? And the change in your eyes?"

Robin added, "I saw a different pattern this time. It was more detailed and beautiful."

Itachi blushed slightly and nodded. "That's the Mangekyo Sharingan. It's an advanced form of the Sharingan, awakened through losing a loved one."

Everyone gasped in shock. Luffy asked, "Who did you lose?"

"I lost my best friend, Shisui Uchiha. He was like a brother to me," Itachi said. "This Sharingan is unique to each user. I can use abilities like Amaterasu, black flames that burn anything, Tsukuyomi, a powerful illusion, and Susanoo, a giant humanoid warrior."

Robin understood the gist of it. "So, the more trauma you experience, the stronger you get?"

Itachi nodded. Sanji asked, "Then show us your new eyes."

Itachi showed them his new eyes, which looked like Sasuke's. "This is called the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. It's achieved by transplanting the Mangekyo Sharingan of a close relative."

Luffy asked, "Close relative?"

Nami's eyes widened. "Your brother?"

Everyone looked at him in shock. Itachi shook his head. "I didn't use my brother's eyes. Let's just say a god gave me this gift."

Zoro, with narrowed eyes, asked, "What do you mean?"

Itachi began explaining the flashback:

Hagoromo said to Itachi, "I can see you've become blind."

Itachi nodded. Hagoromo gestured for him to come closer. "Come near, my child."

With a questioning look, Itachi approached. Hagoromo placed his hand on Itachi's eyes. "Now you have the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan."

Itachi asked, "How?"

Hagoromo replied, "You don't want to be blinded. You deserve to see the world."

Itachi nodded as a bright light enveloped them. Hagoromo began to disappear, saying, "Live your fullest."

The flashback ended.

"So, that's how I got these eyes," Itachi concluded.

Everyone was silent, processing the incredible story they had just heard.

Robin asked, "Your brother has that eye now, too, doesn't he?"

Itachi nodded solemnly. "Yes, he also has the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan."

Zoro's eyes narrowed. "So your brother used your eyes because he became blind, right?"

"Yes," Itachi confirmed.

Everyone stared at Itachi, incredulous. "You let that happen? How could you?" Nami exclaimed.

Itachi interjected, "I didn't have any other choice." He paused, then continued, "Any more questions?"

Chopper asked, "Does the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan give you more power?"

"No, it doesn't give more power," Itachi replied. "It just removes the chance of becoming blind."

Chopper nodded, and when no one else spoke, Itachi began his story. "First, I need to give you some history. There are two prominent clans in my world: the Senju clan and the Uchiha clan. Their leaders were Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha. They created the Hidden Leaf Village, or Konoha. Hashirama was selected as the village leader, or Hokage, while Madara became a powerful leader and rival to Hashirama."

Itachi continued, "The Uchiha clan felt marginalized under the Senju-dominated leadership, leading to a dispute. Hashirama and Madara fought, and Hashirama won. After that, Hashirama's brother Tobirama, who was against the Uchiha, became the Second Hokage. He segregated the Uchiha, making them the police force of Konoha. When the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, took over, he was peaceful, but his friend Danzo was not. Danzo ran a secret organization called Root, training Anbu black the fourth hokage minato namikaze"

Zoro muttered, "Black ops, like killing in the shadows."

Itachi nodded. "I lived with my mother, Mikoto Uchiha, my father, Fugaku Uchiha, and my little brother, Sasuke. When I was four, and Sasuke was born, my father asked me what kind of shinobi I wanted to be. I said I wanted to bring peace to the world."

Everyone smiled at this.

Itachi continued, "My father took me to a battlefield, showing me the dead bodies. Robin was angry. 'He showed you that at the age of four?'

Zoro said, 'He wanted to show him how the world works.'

Itachi nodded and continued, "I told you about the Senju and Uchiha clans. Because of the Second Hokage, there was tension between the two clans. Our clan members were feared because of our eyes, and there was some discrimination towards us."

Sanji nodded thoughtfully. "That's always the case when you have power. People start to fear you."

Itachi nodded in agreement. "Yes, that's what happened to us. I'm not saying my clan members didn't do anything wrong, but there was constant fighting between the Senju and Uchiha clans. After the Third Hokage came into power, there was a period of peace. But things changed with the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze."

Zoro, leaning back in his chair, asked, "So the history lesson is over?"

Itachi nodded. "Yes, and now we get to the critical events."

Robin and Franky exchanged glances. "It sounds like Minato was a key figure," Franky commented.

Itachi shook his head. "Minato Namikaze was a great shinobi and a good person. He was friends with my father, and his wife Kushina was best friends with my mother. Kushina even took care of me sometimes."

Usopp, intrigued, asked, "So what happened next?"

Itachi's expression turned grim. "When I was four, taking care of my brother Sasuke, a monster known as the Nine-Tails attacked. It's a massive beast, as tall as Marine Headquarters."

Nami's eyes widened. "That big?"

Luffy's eyes also widened with shock. "That's huge!"

Itachi continued, "The Nine-Tails was sealed within Kushina Namikaze. People who have these beasts sealed within them are called jinchuriki."

Zoro, curious, asked, "People? How many are there?"

"There are a total of nine beasts, each sealed in different individuals across various villages to balance power," Itachi explained.

Luffy, frowning, asked, "What about their freedom?"

Itachi's expression turned somber. "They were seen as weapons."

Luffy's face fell. "That's terrible."

Sanji, smoking his cigarette, asked, "How did the beast get unsealed?"

Itachi explained, "Kushina was giving birth, which weakened the seal. But there were also rumors of an intruder who broke the seal and took control of the Nine-Tails, ordering it to attack the village."

Franky, incredulous, asked, "Who could do that?"

Robin, connecting the dots, widened her eyes. "Was it an Uchiha member?"

Itachi looked at Robin grimly and nodded. "Yes, but I'm not sure who exactly. He called himself Madara Uchiha."

Usopp, shocked, asked, "Wasn't Madara dead? How is he still alive?"

"He wasn't Madara. He was using the name," Itachi clarified.

Usopp nodded in understanding, and Itachi continued, "To save the village, the Fourth Hokage and his wife sacrificed themselves, sealing the beast inside their newborn son, Naruto Uzumaki."

Nami said why they seal that beast inside their own son itachi then said I think they might don't have any other choice .

Sanji, puzzled, asked, "Uzumaki? Wasn't he Namikaze?"

Itachi nodded. "For his safety, they used his mother's surname, Uzumaki. If people knew he was the Fourth Hokage's son, he would be in great danger." After that he was send to the orphanage

Franky leaned back in his chair, curiosity evident on his face. "Why don't you adopt Naruto?" he asked.

Itachi's gaze grew distant as he remembered his mother. "My mother went to the orphanage to adopt Naruto as a memory of Kushina, but they did not allow us," he explained.

Zoro, resting his elbows on the table, chimed in, "That might be because of the beast."

Itachi nodded solemnly. "Exactly. After that, the Third Hokage became Hokage again. As I mentioned earlier, Danzo was the leader of an organization called Root." He paused, letting the significance of his words sink in. "At the age of twelve, I was assigned to the Anbu Black Ops."

Zoro smirked, 'At age 12?'

Nami said, 'At that young age?'

Robin asked with concern, 'Were you killing at that age?'

Itachi hesitated but nodded. 'Yes, I was.'

Sanji lit his cigarette. 'As a black op, that's your work.'

Itachi nodded. 'I met Danzo, who assigned me as a spy in my own clan.'

Franky was incredulous. 'In your own clan?'

Itachi nodded as he continued, "Yes, because they were planning a coup against the village. The Uchiha were discriminated against because of their power, and people feared them. After a monster attack, they suspected the Uchiha were behind it."

Nami's eyes widened in shock. "A coup?"

Itachi nodded again. "Yes."

Usopp, ever the curious one, leaned forward. "Spying on your own clan... that must have been difficult?"

Zoro, with a knowing look, added, "Once people are accused by others, removing suspicion is difficult."

Itachi's expression remained stoic. "Yes, I can understand why they accused us. So the Uchiha started planning a coup. I was assigned as a double agent. My best friends, Shisui and Izumi, and I tried to stop it."

Sanji, who had been quietly listening, raised an eyebrow. "A double agent? Now that's a risky stage."

Robin narrowed her eyes. 'Izumi? Who is she?'

Itachi nodded. "Yes, being a double agent is a risky move, but I had to handle it." He then looked at Robin, his expression softening slightly. "There was also a friend in the academy who had always supported me. I would be lying if I said I didn't have feelings for her."

Robin frowned slightly, processing this new information. "Oh, I see."

Itachi nodded, continuing his story. " It was. We were caught between our loyalty to the village and our love for our clan. Shisui and I told Izumi not to come to the meetings full of hatred. She agreed. Shisui and I worked as double agents. Shisui even tried to use a powerful genjutsu to stop the coup without bloodshed, but he was betrayed. Danzo discovered our intentions and took advantage of the situation to acquire the Sharingan. He attacked Shisui to get his eyes. He managed to take one, but Shisui escaped and called me to a cliff. He gave me his second eye and told me, 'Take this eye, it will help you,' and then he jumped, dying in front of me."

Robin gasped. 'That's how you got the Mangekyo Sharingan?'

Itachi nodded. 'I acted as if nothing happened and fought my clan members. They accused me of killing Shisui.

Luffy angry slam on the desk how could they your clan must have trusted you itachi nodded if they had I would be happy but taking that advantage Then Danzo called me in...'

Itachi took a deep breath, mustering the courage to continue his story. "Danzo gave me a task, supposedly for the welfare of the village." He fell silent again, and the room was tense with anticipation.

Robin, who had a knack for politics, widened her eyes in realization. "Don't tell me..." she looked at Itachi with horror. Zoro also seemed to understand, his eyes widening before turning to Itachi for confirmation.

Itachi nodded, and Zoro's expression shifted to anger. "That old bastard," Zoro sneered.

Robin, equally enraged, nodded. "Danzo... If I were there with you, I would have broken him into pieces."

The rest of the crew looked at Zoro and Robin with confused expressions. Sanji, who was starting to piece things together, said in a slightly fearful voice, "What did that bastard do?"

Itachi's expression remained solemn as he explained, "Danzo used the chaos to further his own power. He orchestrated events that led to the Uchiha massacre, manipulating me into carrying out the deed to prevent a civil war."

"He gave me two options," Itachi continued, his voice trembling. "First, to massacre my entire family and leave Sasuke, or second, to kill everyone, including Sasuke."

The crew was stunned. Nami gasped in horror, "What?"

Usopp echoed her shock, "Why?"

Luffy, visibly struggling to contain his rage, slammed his fist on the table. "That's messed up!"

Nami asked, her voice trembling, "Was that the only way? Wasn't there any other way?"

Itachi shook his head. "There wasn't any other way."

"I was helped by a person who claimed to be Madara Uchiha," Itachi continued, his voice steady despite the weight of his words.

Sanji, cigarette in hand, looked at him in disbelief. "You killed everyone to save Sasuke, even your own parents?"

Itachi nodded again, tears streaming down his face. "Yes."

Luffy, losing his composure, slammed the table. "Why did you just agree to that?"

"I didn't have any choice," Itachi said, his voice breaking. "I killed everyone, even my friend."

Sanji asked, horrified, "You killed Izumi as well?"

Itachi's nod was barely perceptible, but the pain in his eyes was unmistakable. "Yes. When I saw her lying there with a stab wound, she was still alive. I went to her and put her under a genjutsu."

Nami, her voice gentle, asked, "What kind of genjutsu?"

With a sad expression, Itachi explained, "In it, the Uchiha clan was not massacred, and we were in a peaceful world. I showed her our future if this situation hadn't happened."

Robin, understanding the depth of his actions, said softly, "That's good that you did that."

Itachi shook his head, the pain in his eyes deepening. "It didn't make me a good person. I killed every last one of my kin, even... even children, women, men... everyone, to keep my brother safe."

Usopp's eyes widened in shock. "Even children?"

Itachi's face was a mask of sorrow as he continued. "After killing everyone, I went into my home and saw my parents sitting with their backs to me. My mother said, 'I know, Itachi, it's okay.' Then my father said, 'I understand what you did. I will always be proud of you, but you have to take care of Sasuke.'"

He paused, the weight of his next words hanging in the air. "Then... I killed them."

The crew's faces turned grim, the reality of Itachi's actions settling over them. Robin, her heart aching, reached out and held Itachi's hands, offering silent comfort. Nami, her voice soft with empathy, said, "That's so sad."

The room was filled with a heavy silence, each member grappling with the enormity of Itachi's past. Robin squeezed his hands gently

Itachi nodded. Zoro, now fuming with anger, asked, "What about your brother?"

Itachi replied, "When I killed my parent, I didn't want Sasuke to see, but somehow he came and saw everything."

Franky shook his head, "That's messed up."

Nami, tears in her eyes, said, "So he saw that and started hating you, didn't he?"

Itachi nodded. Robin, concerned, asked, "You could have taken your brother with you, couldn't you?"

Itachi shook his head. "No, I told him I did it to test my powers and increase his hatred toward me. I showed him the massacre, even my parents' deaths."

Nami, furious, said, "You shouldn't have done that! There must be more to it."

Itachi nodded. "Danzo told me not to tell anyone."

Nami, now enraged, spat, "That old bastard!"

Sanji, lighting another cigarette, said, "Old bastards are always like that, hungry for power."

Itachi continued, "I warned Danzo that if he laid hands on Sasuke, I would reveal all his secrets to every enemy nation. Then I left and joined an organization of villains name atasuki against the village, working as a spy."

Zoro, still angry, said, "After all that, you were still loyal to the village?"

Robin gently wiped the tears from Itachi's face, making him smile. Robin blushed slightly.

"It was the Third Hokage who ordered me to do so," Itachi explained. "I was known as the traitor or kin-slayer of the Hidden Leaf."

Luffy and Zoro's anger was palpable.

Itachi nodded solemnly as he recounted the events involving Orochimaru and the cursed mark he gave to Sasuke.

"Yes, Orochimaru was a student of the Third Hokage and sought immortality through forbidden techniques," Itachi explained. "He believed in transferring his essence into other bodies to achieve immortality. He targeted me for my Sharingan, seeking to use it to enhance his own powers."

Chopper, wide-eyed and amazed by the revelations, exclaimed, "Immortality? That's unbelievable!"

Itachi nodded, acknowledging the gravity of Orochimaru's ambitions. "Indeed, he achieved a form of immortality through his experiments and techniques. He constantly searched for stronger hosts to take over."

Zoro, grasping the situation, remarked with a hint of disdain, "So he was just a parasite looking for a powerful body to control."

Robin, ever insightful, speculated, "And you, Itachi, he wanted you as his host too?"

Itachi nodded regretfully. "Yes, Orochimaru targeted me as well. But I defeated him before he could achieve his goal. However, he later turned his attention to Sasuke."

Sanji, understanding the gravity of the situation, added, "And Sasuke had the Sharingan too. Orochimaru went after him next."

Itachi's expression darkened slightly. "Yes, Orochimaru's pursuit of power led him to Sasuke. Because of this, Sasuke felt compelled to leave the village and seek strength elsewhere. It fueled his resentment and desire for power."

Zoro, sneering with contempt, muttered, "That snake caused a lot of trouble."

Sanji, shaking his head in disapproval, commented, "Power-hungry people like Orochimaru never bring anything good."

Itachi nodded in agreement, acknowledging the destructive influence Orochimaru had. "Sasuke eventually confronted and defeated Orochimaru, ending his threat. But the cursed mark Orochimaru gave him continued to affect Sasuke."

Nami, curious about the cursed mark, asked, "What did the cursed mark do to Sasuke?"

Itachi explained with a solemn tone, "The cursed mark granted Sasuke power, but it also threatened to consume him. It was a symbol of Orochimaru's influence and ambition, and Sasuke struggled with its dark allure."

Itachi continued, "Years later, Sasuke came to me seeking revenge."

Zoro finally said, "You did all this for him, and he wanted to kill you?"

Itachi nodded. "That was part of my plan. Sasuke saw me killing our parents, so he was clouded with anger and hatred. I wanted him to grow strong, so one day he would come to me for a fight, and I would die by his hand. That day came. We fought, and I died in his hands. Dying from his hands was better than dying from disease."

Nami asked, "So that was your plan all along?"

Itachi nodded. "I was suffering from a disease, and my life was short anyway."

Chopper, concerned, said, "You don't have that disease now, that's a relief."

Itachi nodded. "Yes, but I wanted to make my brother strong. Before I died, I fought him like I wanted to kill him. When I could no longer fight, I used Susanoo—that red humanoid figure—and removed Orochimaru from Sasuke, erasing the cursed mark. Then, I died in front of him, smiling as I said, 'Forgive me, Sasuke, but this is it.' After I died, I found myself in a black void. Then, suddenly, I arrived in Water 7, and you know the rest of the story."

"You did all of that for your brother," Luffy said quietly, a mix of respect and sorrow in his voice.

Itachi nodded. "Yes, everything I did was for Sasuke. I wanted him to have a future, even if it meant sacrificing my own."

The room fell silent, the weight of Itachi's tale settling in. The crew's mixed emotions were evident, but they had gained a deep respect and understanding for Itachi's sacrifices and the burden he carried.

Chopper then asked, "What about the time you were fainted?"

Itachi nodded at him. "In my world, a man named Kabuto used a forbidden jutsu called Edo Tensei, which reincarnates dead people."

Sanji's eyes widened. "So you died again?"

Itachi nodded. Luffy, seething with anger, said, "I want to beat that guy to a pulp!"

Zoro added, "If that happens, I'm in."

Itachi looked at them for a moment, then Zoro said, "Continue."

Itachi shook his head and continued. "In that state, I met Sasuke again. By then, he had learned the truth about everything. After he killed me, he went straight to Danzo and killed him."

Zoro said, "Finally, he's dead. Rot in hell."

Robin added, "People like that deserve to die."

Luffy agreed. "You're right. Then what happened?"

Itachi continued, "Sasuke and I fought Kabuto. After defeating him, I undid the Edo Tensei. I looked at Sasuke and told him with a smile that he didn't have to forgive me, but no matter what he did, I would always love him. Then, I found myself here."

The crew was silent, taking in the weight of Itachi's story. Itachi said, "That was my story. So, Luffy, what do you think?"

Luffy, with a beaming smile, said, "You are still my crew mate, and I know how kind you are."

Itachi looked at the others. "What about you all?"

Zoro said, "You are my sparring partner. Do you think you will ever get rid of us?"

Usopp added, "Yes, we are always with you, no matter what."

Franky said, "That's right." He handed Itachi a soda can. "This is from me, as a gift form a friend."

Itachi smiled and said, "Thank you."

Nami, with a smirk, said, "If you leave this crew, someone will get upset." She looked at Robin, who was blushing hard.

Robin stammered, "What are you saying, Nami?"

Nami continued you know robin was so worried that she was not let you out her site and she use to sleep in your room with holding your hand

Sanji, angry, asked, "You bastard, what did you do to Robin-chan?"

Itachi gasped. "What? I was unconscious! I didn't do anything!"

Itachi looked at Robin, his cheeks tinged with a rare blush. He gave a small chuckle, a gentle smile breaking through his usually stoic demeanor. "Thank you for taking care of me, Robin," he said softly.

Robin, after hearing that unable to hold back any longer, leaned in and hugged Itachi, her voice barely above a whisper. "You're not alone anymore, Itachi. We're here for you."

Luffy started laughing. "So Itachi is awake. Let's get the ship sailing at great speed!"

Everyone shouted, "Oh yeah!"

Itachi smiled warmly. "Thank you, all of you."

Luffy said, "Don't mention it. Now you are stronger, right?"

Itachi smirked. "Yes, I am."

Luffy grinned. "So, let's go to the next island!"

The crew cheered, and the Thousand Sunny set sail, ready for their next adventure, with Itachi feeling truly at home among his new nakama.
