Teaming up

Since Celeste wanted to talk more privately with Ragna, to discuss how their newly "friendship" would work, she led him to her private room, which she already had since she joined the Academy last month.

As they got inside Ragna looked around her room.

"Seems like I was right with calling you a crazy astrology chick. Why do you have so much space themed stuff ? Even a fucking telescope ?"

Celeste punched his head.

"I'm not crazy ! ... well, maybe a little. Anyways, make yourself at home. There are things I want to discuss, for our friendship of course."

Ragna sat down on her plush bed, expecting her to sit down next to him but she unexpectedly and suddenly pushed him down, straddling him, on his belly and not crotch, of course.

Celeste just looked down at him with a grin while Ragna struggled to brush her off.

"So tell me about your Nightmare and your powers~"

Celeste pushed Ragna further down with unexpected strength, not letting him go.

"And why exactly should I tell you about that ?"

"Because someone very dear to me told me to be friends with the strongest person in the Academy and everyone but you and me seemed like fodder, so sorry, but you'll become my friends."

Suddenly Celeste pushed Ragna further down but this time using her Aspect. Ragna felt like gravity was pushing him down, the bed under them struggling to keep up.

"You know, I can also concentrate all my gravitational power solely on your balls. So think again before deciding to not tell me your secrets."

"OKAY, OKAY. I GET IT!"

Celeste stopped using her Aspect and got off him, giggling slightly.

"I knew you'd say that, Ragna~"

Ragna scoffed and got up from the bed.

"I'll tell you about my Nightmare and powers but you gotta tell me yours first, keeping secrets between "friends" isnt good, right ?"

Celeste just continued smiling to herself.

"Oh of course I can, friend. I'll keep my Nightmare short. I basically appeared in space, a spacerocket a few meters away from me. I couldn't breathe so i needed to somehow get there.

I struggled but somehow made it. After that I drifted through space but suddenly some creatures appeared.

Thankfully i had some modern weapons in the rocket.

Well basically a huge black hole also appeared and was sucking me in while creatures attacked me from the other side. I somehow survived tho and the Nightmare ended after i landed on a planet.

Now to my powers. My True name is [Starborn Empress] and i have a DIVINE Aspect that has something to do with gravity as you've felt before. My Attributes are also pretty neat. Bet your jealous now ~"

Ragna shrugged and smiled slightly

"Oh, how impressive. I would be so jealous but sadly for you I also have a divine Aspect."

Ragna cleared his throat while Celeste froze for a second and then continued

"Well, I'll also keep the summary of my Nightmare short. I basically was the crown prince of a Kingdom and I spent most of my time just killing creatures with my army.

Something was wrong tho. The bloodmoon above me was slowly falling down but no one except me could realize it.

The moon crushed the whole kingdom, killing everyone but me, I also only survived because of luck.

The moon turned out to be the heard of a Sacred Titan which was evolving into a Divine one at the time. I somehow killed it by only touching it and then absorbed a lineage, I don't know what a Lineage is tho but it made one of my attributes evolve.

Uhm, then to my powers. As I've said I have a divine Aspect. It has something to do with blood. My True Name is [Bled into existence], by the way.

It's completly fighting oriented, at least right now.

My attributes are also pretty nice, one of them can be the reason I'll die tho because it makes unexpected things happen to me."

Both of them just sat there, not talking but after a while Ragna spoke up again.

"By the way. My core is different than it should be and I don't need to get soul fragments to satiate my core. I had the theory that it has something to do with my divine Aspect but i of course couldn't check, well till you came up now. Is your Core and progression path also different ?"

"Hmm ? I do actually have a different core. It's called Star Core and not Soul Core like normal but I still need to gain soul fragments to get stronger."

"I see. Well it's not important right now anyways so lets talk about something else. What does your Aspect do and what is it called ?"

"My Aspect is called [Cosmic Empress] and I got a Innate ability called [Guiding Star]. As it suggest it basically just guides me and tells me information I wouldn't know without It. It's also the reason why I knew you were special and why I said that the stars shine brightly above you.

My Aspect ability is [Gravity Manipulation] and as the name suggests It makes me able to manipulate Gravity."

"Gravity, huh ? Isn't that kinda overpowered ?"

Celeste shrugged and then answered.

"It's not like I can put a billion tons on someone, at least for now. But yeah, my Aspect is pretty strong. So whats yours ?"

" My Aspect is called [Bloodlorde] and I got 2 Innate abilities. [Blood Oath] and [Bloodflow Failure]. You can probably guess what both of them do but I can't use any of them because they need essence to be used and since I'm obviously not an Awakened yet so I can't use them.

My Aspectability is basically a buff. I won't tell you more yet because you also only told me that you can manipulate gravity."

After discussing a few more things, both Celeste and Ragna went back to the main hall. Thankfully, just when they arrived, the school administrators started talking.

They discussed things like classes, dorm rooms and when they would get send to the dream realm, the usual stuff..

After the talk most kids decided to either go to the cafeteria, their new rooms or check out their classes but Celeste and Ragna decided to walk to the gymnasium for a spar. After all they would probably spend time together now so they needed to know how strong the other was.

After they arrived the both picked out a training weapon. Ragna chose a thin one handed sword while Celeste chose a staff.

"Hey Celeste, lets make a bet."

"Hmm, a bet you say ? Im guessing the winner gets something ?"

"Yeah, if you win you can chose anything you want, of course it should be something realistic tho. But if I win i want you to give me some of your blood."

Celeste just raised an eyebrow

"Do you have a blood fetish ?"

Ragna blushed in emberassment and struggled to form a sentence

"W-what ... NO! Of course not ! It has something to do with my flaw, okay ?"

"Yeah, Yeah. I would say that too if I were you but fine, if you win you can have some of my blood ... You said you don't need soul fragments, right ? Lets say if I win you need to give me all the soul fragments you earn for a year."

"How does giving me blood and me giving you soul fragments for a year sound like its a fair comparison ?"

"Well, you said anything, right ? So don't chicken out now and lets start."

Ragna sighed and walked to the other side of the fighting area, getting into a stance. He learned some sword fighting before falling into his first Nightmare so he knew the basics but not more.

Celeste also got into a fighting stance, standing low and holding the long staff with both hands in front of her.

With their superhuman bodies they both dashed at each other, not using their Aspects yet.

Celeste used her staff to strike in front of her but Ragna parried the staff to the left and then took another step forward before slicing the sword back up to her.

Before he could hit her tho he suddenly felt everything go heavy and his movements getting slower. Because of that Celeste could just easily take a step back, avoiding the sword.

She then concentrated jumped into the air and held the staff over her head.

While thrusting the staff down she concentrated all her gravity powers on the staff, making it grow heavier and fall down heavy.

Just before she was about to hit him tho she saw a thing layer of blood form all around his body.

Ragna knew that he couldn't dodge anymore so he moved the layer of blood only to his head, strengthening it more so the hit maybe wouldn't hurt that much.

As the pole hit his head he could hear something crack as a huge amount of force hit him and pushed him down. On the ground Ragna rolled to the side before slowly standing up again.

Celeste grinned confidently and teasingly

"Your weaker than I thought, Ragna. Try again."

Ragna smiled weakly as his head continued to hurt.

"You haven't seen everything yet, Celeste."

And so the thin Layer of blood moved from his head to his his sword, making it look ominous because of its now red blade.

He dashed forward again and just sliced the air ? Celeste didn't understand why he deliberately missed but just a fraction later she could see a blood slash form further away from him, slicing a little bit through Celestes chest.

Celeste stumbled backwards because of shock and the fell down. And just then Ragna pointed his training sword at her while coldly looking down at her.

"I won"

Celeste sighed before standing up again and slightly clutching her chest because of the annoying pain.

"Fine, fine. You won."

Celeste turned around and walked away but Ragna pulled her back and turned her around again.

"Didn't you forget something, astrology girl ? I want your blood, I'm hungry"

Celeste tried taking a few steps back but Ragna didn't let her while just smiling "innocently" at her and the he suddenly cut her arm slightly with his augmented sword and started to drink like he was a starving man.

Did a little bit longer fight scene this time but I still couldn't write it like how I envisioned it.
