Chapter twenty six 026: PARTY HARD

*Danger before dawn*

It was morning, Adria woke up due to Akio's cries, she went down stairs and saw him battling with his mom.

"Hey, hey young man what's wrong huh." she said as she kneels in front of him.

He placed his tiny hands on his eyes and cleaned his tears.

"I don't know what wrong with him these days, he doesn't want to go to school he refuses to take his bath and wouldn't say why." Yan Chen said feeling frustrated, she had a job to attend.

Adria ruffled his hair "Come on big boy go take your bath."

"No." he said as he cried more.

"What's wrong? alright come let me run you a bath myself." she said as she carried him to her bathroom, she began to bath him.

"Why don't you want to go to school my boy?." Adria asked as she ran him a bubble bath.

"The boys at school are mean." He said sadly.

"Oh is that so." she said nodding her head.

"They always say mean things to me." He explained.

"Mean things like?." Adria asked.

He went silent and didn't say anything, Adria understood he didn't want to talk about it.

"It's fine, but don't let them hinder you from attaining your goals, remember you told me you wanted to be a doctor so you could make a lot of money for mummy huh." She said as she turned on the warm water.

He nodded.

"Then don't listen to them." She said to him pinching his cheek gently.

For some time Adria hadn't seen Gu Min and she was actually happy about it but she observed he always sent money into her account and when she tries to send it back they deny the actions so she had to ignore it.

Today was like every other Monday morning, Adria prepared for work when she was done with getting Akio ready she took her shower and got dressed when she was done she had her breakfast and drove to work .

Work was a bit stressful as the document of alliance has been accepted there were a lot of formalities and documentation to work on, so she had to work for the past days. Work had been really tight no rest, Yan Chen even had to be the one bringing Akio home something Adria loved to do.

Adria was still working when Sofia came into her office, these past few weeks they had gotten closer than ever.

"Hey lady." Sofia smiled sweetly at her.

"Hi Sofia, how are you doing?." Adria said still focused on the spreadsheet she was creating.

"I'm doing good, well I came to steal you tonight." She clapped her hands.

"Ugh I don't want to party Sofia." Adria said, that's all they had been doing in there free time when does it end.

"Oh come on, don't be a party pooper come on Asachi already accepted come on." Sofia insisted.

"Ugh Sofia." Adria felt tired.

"And by the way this isn't a party is a club, you know you guys have been stressed out lately, you need to let out some steam your gonna love it." Sofia said.

"Ugh but I'm on a suit." Adria said feeling tired.

"That's not and excuse Adria." Sofia said frowning at her, faking sad faces.

"Fine fine." Adria said.

"Get ready." Sofia said as she walked away.

"Now?." Adria asked.

"Yes!." Sofia said as she walked out the door.

"Alright I'll be down in a minute." Adria said as began to round up.

"Alright." Sofia said as she left.

Adria stared at the door and shook her head.

After a while Adria came down and they went to one of the biggest buildings in Japan.

Arriving there, "This is a club?." Adria raised a brow.

"Oh hu I told ya your gonna love it." Sofia said excitedly as she dragged Asachi inside.

Adria stared at the place for a while as an uneasy feeling got to her when she saw too many security and men on black suit.

"Adria." Sofia called her.

As she entered inside Sofia offered her a drink, as she and her boyfriend drank there second drink. Adria wasn't a party person so she kept sipping her drink little by little.

Sofia and Asachi left to the dance floor. Adria stared at them and laughed at the funny way they dance, her eyes drift as she looked around everyone had someone they were dancing with, she was literally the only person who was sitting alone, a weird feeling passed through her eyes. She closed her eyes and tried to be rationalize things, she drank her cup in one go as she coughed.

Immediately Adria's phone rang and she picked it up.

Hello Yan Chen." Adria said as she stared at Sofia and Asachi who were having a great time.

"Oh no Adria where you are is too noisy, please move." Yan Chen.

Adria stood up and looked over to Asachi and Sofia again they looked so into whatever they were doing so she just stepped out and called Yan Chen.

"Hello can you hear me now." Adria asked.

"Hm Adria there's an emergency at work and I left Akio alone at home please can you check up on him." Yan Chen sounded worried.

"Alright." Adria said.

"Thanks a lot bye." she ended the call

Adria thought for a while, she can't let Akio stay alone at home so she had to leave the party in time, she quickly went in to inform Asachi and Sofia when she got there she couldn't find them she looked around and finally found them at a coner all over each other.

She turned around and left since she didn't want to break there good time, she headed towards the parking lot and went to the lane her car was parked but she began to hear some noise, it sounded intense as if someone was really hurt so she decided to check it out.

Getting there she saw few people, so she bent over a car to stare at the scene before her bending over she saw a very tall guy in a black suit his hair was jet black from the back and he seemed to be talking to someone.

"How dare you?." the man said a very calm yet deadly manner.

"I'm...I'm sorry sir." the other man shuddered In fear.

The man on the black suit glanced at the man and said "In your next life don't ever try to cross my path or try to kill anyone else you hear?."

He glanced over his shoulder towards Adria's direction, she immediately hid to conceal her presence so she couldn't see his face.

"Kill him." the man on suit ordered coldly.

In the next second a gun shot rang through the air.

Adria gasped in shock, gaining the men attention she used her hand to covered her mouth but it wasn't too late.

"Who's that?." the man said as he gave his boys sigh to go check it out.

Adria dashed out of the place as she entered the elevator, she could hear their footsteps so she pressed the button swiftly as fear choked her she began to cry, she didn't want to die.

"The person went through the elevator, follow the stairs and get to that person immediately." the man on suit friend instructed.

They spread out and began their search.
