After much argument from nightmare and Lee's party they was another fight which Lee was shot on the same leg and Lee fell to the floor, he struggled helplessly and though Lei kept telling him to give up so they could go home he refused what was life without the person he loved genuinely, he struggled to get up from the floor but fell at each trial, lei got upset and dragged a gun from the cop.

Due to the gun sound Adria woke up to see nightmare holding her close to him while guns pointed at them she felt a bit confused because what she remembered last was seeing Lee at the airport but now she sees lei, the cops and blood on the floor which looked like it was Lee's as he looked pretty bad and some of nightmare's guy pointed there gun to him while the others pointed at the cop and lei who was pointing a gun a nightmare.

"How dare you hurt my friend." lei screamed as he was upset.

Nightmare felt less concerned as no one except adria mattered to him "Oh please pointing the gun at me changes nothing you see. Your the one surrounded yet you choose to act stupid."

"Please drop the gun Mr lei, we would take care of this matter legally." the police officer adviced Lei as the gun he was holding was his and he wasn't even sure he could use it.

Lei turned the gun to adria who nightmare held tightly, adria eyes widened and so did Lee and nightmare as nightmare threatened "Don't you even dare!." his voice thundered, adria was his life, his fresh air he would never let anyone hurt her.

"if you aren't scared of dying or loosing your life then am sure you are scared of loosing her then everyone has a weak point don't we?." lei said as he kept staring at adria who seemed heart broken by his action.

Lee who was struggling with his leg which has been bleeding said "Lei what's wrong with you!."

"Oh please Lee am done being the nice guy I told you this girl isn't the one for you, look there just playing you, I'm doing you a favor!."

"That's for me to decide now fucking Keep that gun off her face! I want no favors and definitely not from you."

"I was the one who got hurt lee, I tried helping her, I tried helping you! but what did I get a broken arm." saying this he cocked d gun.

"Lei!." Lee screamed "Why are you doing this?." he said calmly as he felt frustrated and tired as he struggled to move.

Lei turned to lee and said "Don't you see am left behind since you returned the love I received from your parents are gone and you ask why *he laughed meniacly* you know what I can't bare to see you happy anymore? Lee call me the devil I don't mind but you'll have to watch her die, you seem to be more selfish as the day goes by and I just can't stand it"

"Please don't do this lei, what are you even say my family loves you the same nothing has changed, please lei." Lee who was struggling to get up begged

"You thought I asked to help for you? nah it was all selfish reasons my friend I wanted to know your strength and weakness so I could bring you down but that didn't work out fine now did it? ha ha well I guess I'll have to use this opportunity and when am done I'll kill you too and then go take care of grandma and your lovely neice bye my friend it was nice being aquinted with you....." Lei said

"No please." Lee began to cry, lei had never seen Lee cry apart from the time his father's death was pinned on him, did he love this girl this much dehm.

Nightmare became angry and placed adria behind him, he wasn't ready for such nonsense, but unknown to him this was what lei was waiting for, Lei immediately fired at nightmare non stop before nightmare could even order for him to be kill, everyone was shocked, the whole place became quiet as the hand that held adria loosen, and nightmare fell on top of her his blood gushed out, nightmare's guys were thrown to the ground by the cops, adria's eyes shifted to lee who crawled to get to her she could her him saying something to her, she looked down and saw blood on her hands and on nightmares clothes, feels familiar doesn't it her mind said and everything went blank.

°The unconscious°

Adria walked round the field that was filled with different flowers the sky was bright and she saw no body apart from rabbits and squirrels, she felt happy this place felt peaceful, it brought solace to her she felt like every pain has been washed up, strolled down the hill and immediately something caught hold of her hands, she turned to see an elderly woman who didn't seem much friendly before she could speak she heard the old woman say "Everything that gets involved with you dies."

adria frowned as she said "Sorry what do you mean?."

the old woman smiled as she began to list the names "Ryan, Min and now nightmare and soon him." the old woman pointed at a distance, adria followed the ladies hand and it landed on a familiar figure she looked deeply and whispered "Lee." immediately the whole scene began to fade as she heard the old woman last words "you are tainted get your self cleansed." adria adjusted her eyes to the new surrounding as she heard beeping sound it turned out she was in the hospital she saw Yan Chen sitting next to her on a chair immediately she realized adria was awake she brought a cup of water.

"What's going on?."

"Nothing dear."

"What am I doing here?."

"You were ill, the doctors said some harmful drugs have been given to you and they were to many in your system so they had to treat you."

"How's Lee, where's he?."

"He's fine, he just left here few minutes ago he'll be back anytime soon, he has been here with you all through."

"How long have I been out."

"Three days."

"Three days?."

"Yes. Don't you feel like peeing?."

"Umm I do, why do you ask though?."

"Well the doctor had given you drugs to flush down the drugs and he said you will have to pee to get it out your system. I think I should call a doctor."

"Oh ok." adria said, Yan left to get the doctor while adria went to the bathroom to relieve herself and came to seat back down later Yan came with a doctor who checked on adria once he was done he left. Not too long after Lee came, Yan left the room to give them privacy.

Adria looked at Lee as he walked slowly towards her she could see how he placed more pressure on his right leg as he tried to support the left which nightmare and his guys had shot, he limped a little, adria bit her bottom lip and said "it must hurt badly?."

"It's fine, it doesn't hurt that much, how are you feeling?."

"I'm okay Lee." she said as they stared straight at each other.

"I was really worried about you."

"you don't have to be anymore." saying this her expression faltered.

"ye.....wait what do you mean?." Lee had misunderstood the answer but when he saw her expression he realized something was wrong.

"I want us to go our separate ways Lee." before she could complete her sentence Lee interrupted "wawhwh..what? what do you mean?."

"Lee I..."

"no don't tell me that, do you fucking know how hard I fought to get you, do you?."

"Lee pl..."

"no don't don't say a word I'll do the talking, do you know the time, the effort, the love everything I have added in nurturing what I feel for you, do you think all this is a joke? s..so you are expecting me to move on when you fucking know how much I love you!."

"it's for your good."

"What do you mean?."

"I don't want you to die like they did! I'm trying to save you." saying this she began to cry Lee walked towards her and pulled her in for a hug

"Nothing is going to happen to me adria, nothing."

"I don't want to lose you Lee everything I've ever loved, cared for or known ends up leaving me."

"I won't adria, I won't leave you I will never leave you so please don't talk about ending things ok."

Adria adjusted herself and looked up to him she held him tightly as she whispered an I love you which Lee heard well enough, he pat her soothingly as he replied "I love you too adria."
