Cold war

They both came home.. but neither of them opened there mouth or talked to each other.. Linda slammed the door and went inside while William felt guilty for his actions..

He saw that Linda went upstairs and he went back to his room..

[ At 9pm ]

Linda was reading a book and she thought, " was I too harsh earlier.. I must have slapped him very hard.. that's why my hand was paining... what ever I shall make it up first.. let me go and check. "

After calming down Linda came downstairs to check out... she could smell something was burning and the kitchen was a bit smoky.. out of the midst smoke covering her mouth Linda called out, " Mr.. Jones.. are you alive....? " as she ended her sentence she heard a loud exploding sound ' BOOOOOOM!!!!!! '

Linda quickly brought the fire extinguisher and sprayed it after the smoke cleared out she saw that William was standing there wearing an apron and the foods were scattered all over his clothes and on the floor... and he was holding a fry pan.

" Are you crazy.. why you suddenly spraying the fire extinguisher?! "

" do you even have the idea... that if I've not come in time.. then the house would've exploded! " Linda yelled at him..

" but I was only.....cooking "

Linda looked at the food and making a disgusted face.. she said, " so you say that this black substance is edible to eat... ? " " you don't have to say making that disgusting faces. if you don't want to eat then don't eat it , I've made then I'll only eat " said William talking a spoon in his hand.

" wait...!!! " Linda held his hand to prevent him from eating..

" I bet you are jealous... " William still insisted and took one bite.... after putting the food in his mouth... he looked at Linda... and then he ran to the bathroom and puked a lot..

After washing his face he slowly dragged his face and came out and threw his body on the sofa.

" I told you .. not to eat. "said Linda, manicuring her nails

She looked at William... and then she went to cook. William slept on the sofa... with empty stomach. After half an hour... he could get a very tempting smell which woke him up. He woke up and followed the smell and sat on the dining chair .

" eat this Omurice.. " said Linda, serving him on the plate.

William quickly took his spoon and started eating, keeping aside all his manners and cool acts... he acted first time childishly in front of Linda....

"eat slowly.. you might choke. " said Linda.

"I wonder.. how much he was hungry ... but he kinda looks cute now.. hehe. "

After eating the full plate he quietly wiped his face with the handkerchief and she then noticed his hand was all burnt and bruised..

"wait.. " Linda made him to sit and then she bought the first aid and applied medicine... William did not say anything...

" what happened your face is red? " said Linda..

" nothing happened.. well... I've work now.. " said William and left

Linda washed the dishes and then went to check him... she saw that he was still working.. so she did not disturbed him.. Linda went back to her and slept...

At night Linda woke up to fetch water... while coming back she again went to check and saw William slept by resting his head on the table and his laptop was also not shut down, she entered the bedroom and covered him with blanket .
