"Today is Ryan's birthday.. I have to go to his house fast, it's already 4 pm. " thought Linda, piling up her files..

'oh thank you doctor Linda, it was all because of you that the surgery went successful.. you are really amazing!" said the hospital director..

"thank you director.. I am glad to be up to your expectations.." said Linda, shaking her hands with the director.

"good job"

"Ok director, so I have to leave early."

"yeah sure take care"

"Doctor Linda are you leaving early?" asked a nurse.

"oh yes! I have an appointment somewhere, take this files and keep it. I'm leaving."

Linda drove her car to Ryan's apartment, taking handful of gifts and cakes. She tried to open the door but it was locked.

"maybe Ryan has not come home till now.. good l can give him surprise.. hehehe.. spare key.. spare key.. hmm under the carpet, yes! I got it " Linda took the spare key and unlocked the door..

she went inside carefully tapping her feets.. when she heard some noises.

"Ryan baby~~ you are so naughty.."

"Babes you are so beautiful.. I can't resist my eyes."

"She doesn't know.. today or tomorrow she already have to leave you soon.."

The gifts and cakes fell from Linda's hand.. she was too shock to see all this things.....it was her younger sister and her love, Ryan... together in the same bed..

" who is there?" asked Ryan, switching on the lights.

"oh it is my big sister, Linda." said Julia.

"why Ryan? why?" asked Linda, with eyes full of tears.

'why?! you are asking me why? ask yourself.. do you ever give me time? whenever I ask you to meet up.. you only refuse me in the name of patients.... I understand.. that your patients are more important than me."

'it's not what you think.. I have always cared for you.."

"cared for me? then at least learn from Julia.." said Ryan, angrily.

"sister you can leave now! Ryan does not want you anymore " said Julia, pushing Linda aside.

"no I won't believe.. until Ryan says it."

Linda went away from there without saying anything... she was too shocked to believe this. She went out and sat on the park bench with hand full of alcohols... that day it rained heavily, that even if she cries in the rain no one can see her tears.. she kept drinking and walked to her apartment where she lived.
