The Beginning of Death: Chapter 2

After Sam gave Jack all the info about where and when the tutorial was located they shook hands and parted ways. After Jack got home he checked the time and saw that he only had a little over 2 hours before the tutorial started which was at 8pm so he decided to take a shower and rest for a little.

It was precisely 7pm when Jack started to head to where the tutorial was at which was his old high school: X school. He decided to walk because he didn't think he would be back to get his car for a while.

When he arrived it was 7:45 and he was looking around wondering what was going on because everything around the school like the buildings were gone and he had an ominous feeling of what was to come.

After he collected himself he went to the front door and was greeted by a short woman who handed him a phone that said "Welcome to the Tutorial" he was a little surprised but then she asked him to see his invitation. Jack gave her the Invitation and she got surprised but still led him inside of the school to the auditorium too which she pointed him to a seat and the went up to the stage.

Then Sam appeared on the stage and began speaking.

Sam" Welcome to the tutorial everyone. My name is Sam and I am your guide for this tutorial. I will begin by saying that you should say the word status window or think of it to pull up your status windows."

Jack thought 'Status Window' and a holographic screen appeared in front of him and said,

Jack saw the question marks under Innate abilities and wondered what they might be. Jack noticed a short blonde girl stand up and heard her say something.

Blonde Girl" Hello, my name is Odelette Delphine. I was wondering what the innate abilities are about?"

Sam "Well missy those are something humans do not normally have so you shouldn't worry too much unless you have one. If you do, it will help tremendously in the future."

Odelette" Thank you very much."

Sam " Ok then think or say "activate mark grade" to activate your mark and receive a gift if you get one."

Everyone activated their marks and there were 2 silvers and 4 bronze ones.

Sam pointed his hand out and 4 bronze and 2 silver colored bags appeared out of thin air surprising everyone.

Sam"These are special bonuses provided by the invitator so that the invited get an edge up in the competition."

The people with the marks went and grabbed their bags while Sam looked at Jack and was giving him a hurry up kinda look. So Jack went ahead and thought 'Activate Mark grade' to which a gold mark appeared above his head and a gold bag popped up.

Jack stood up and went to grab it with people murmuring around him. Jack grabbed it and went back to his seat and opened it up.

After Jack saw the rewards he raised an eyebrow but soon went back to his cold face looking around making sure nothing was happening near him and listening to the things Sam was rambling on about.

Sam "Well everyone who got a bag make sure you use your benefits now or you may die before you even get to use them."

Jack then opened up his boxes and what was inside of them made him a little confused.

Jack decided to use the summon ticket later because he did not know if others would be able to see what was summoned or not. He used the other two and felt tremendous pain in his head a message that said,

After that Sam and the woman with him entered a portal and they disappeared. Jack Instantly stood up and moved straight to the walls of the room so that nothing could surprise him from behind. He was inspecting the room when he felt the phone he was given vibrate.
