AT THE STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICE...
"The school activities for the upcoming exhibit next month are listed here."
Lilith distributed the papers to the other student council members. Each one looked and scanned before tapping something on their laptops. Liechael also got the same paper, but the more he looked at it, the more he's feeling restless.
"What is your plan, Mr. President?" Lilith took the seat next to the guy. She already did everything over night to come up with a good idea advertising the art class.
Students nowadays are busy with their updated gadgets, and it's impossible for them to pick up brush and canvas.
Liechael rested the side of his head on his palm while leaning on the table. "Why isn't there anyone interested in arts?" he asked. "I thought this school has many prodigy talented students? What happened?" He said it loud, indifferent.
"Some of them said that it's troublesome to carry art supplies to school," Lilith said, shrugging her shoulders. "They're too lazy," she added.
"Uhmm...C-Can I join?"
Everyone turned their heads to the girl sitting on the right side of the long table. Her amethyst round eyes sparkled as she blinked. With her long curly eyelashes, it can immediately mesmerize one. Her hair tied up in a messy bun, with some falling down on her pinkish cheeks. Her thin cherry lips curved an awkward smile. "I-I love arts too," she nervously said.
Charlotte put her hands down after seeing the expression on Lilith's face. She rubbed her reddened nape and mumbled. "I just w-want to try," her thin and silvery voice mumbled.
Of course, they wouldn't let her. She's the School muse, Charlotte Adams. She's tall and slim with a curvy waist and perfect body. Having the snow white skin and small face with a high bridge nose added more charm to her. Even if she's still 17 years old, one can tell that she's really fit for a pageant with beauty and brains. She came from abroad and transferred to E University after her parents bought another company.
The reason why Lilith wouldn't let her join is because she already had so many things in her hands. She's the school model in every magazine.
"Charlotte, you already had a lot of stuff in your hands," Lilith brushed her face. "We don't want to add another baggage to you"
'Baggage?' Liechael thought and pouted secretly. 'So you gave me the baggage instead?' he mumbled while staring at Lilith.
"If she wants to join, then let her be," Shaun, who's busy playing with his Nintendo during the meeting, butted in. "She's popular, we can use that to lure the students" A smirk drew on his face as soon as he saw the game's result. "K.O" He was about to play another game when a hand pulled the Nintendo away from him.
The guy sitting beside him gave him a glare. "Stop doing this Shaun, we're at meetings," he said.
Shaun scowled and crossed his arms. "Whatever," he pouted while averting his gaze.
William Patterson was a quiet type, the student council chairperson. It's very rare for him to talk. He will just usually sit there the whole time to listen to the meeting with his hands in his pockets and headphones around the neck. It's because he's cherishing his voice as a singer. Just like Charlotte, he's also popular. He's the vocalist of a famous band.
William usually goes to school with a guitar on his back. He had shoulder length silvery hair with purple edges. Tall and handsome with a small black piercing on his lower lip. William likes to hide his face, but now he tied up the upper part of his hair with a clip on the sides, exposing his dreamy hazel brown eyes.
"I'm too bored. Imma head to class now.." Shaun grabbed his Nintendo back away from William and exited the office.
Since the atmosphere turned awkward and gloomy, Liechael dismissed them all. He told Lilith that he'll be fine by doing it alone. He also left the office and headed to his classroom.
He took his seat beside the window and remembered that his art supplies already arrived. They will surely prepare the room, he asked Vlad after school. If he wanted to gain new members, he needed to be a model to them. He thought of painting something that's eye catching. Liechael thought of putting it outside the art class or near the bulletin board.
His eyes went down outside the window. And just the right time, when the curtains blew onto his face, he heard some noises murmuring down.
"You should be careful. If you don't hold on to me, you're going to fall." A sweet and gentle voice tickled his ears.
Liechael saw a girl riding a sky blue bicycle under the warm rays of the morning sun. She had this familiar boy behind her. She's smiling very wide like the brightest stars in Liechael's eyes.
"You guys are so slow, the first period will start soon" another guy riding a black bicycle with his bag on his arms followed them.
Alaena chuckled, "The almighty Aiden surely had his temper very short." She lifted her chin and felt the falling leaves from the trees they're passing by with her hair swaying smoothly in every move. She held the handle tight and looked at the sky, but instead of meeting the clouds, she met a deep blue round eyes staring at her from the 3rd floor.
There's a boy leaning on the window while staring at her with sadness and grief. Alaena stopped, which caused Justin to bump his head on her back. "What's wrong, Nana?" he asked.
Alaena snapped back and jolted, realizing that she stopped unconsciously. "S-Sorry," she mumbled, still eyes lifted.
Justin traced her face, so he also looked up. "What are you looking at?" he asked with a puzzled face.
Alaena wanted to tell the male that she met someone's eyes up there, but how can she explain it if the guy was already gone. Only the thin curtains of the window swayed with the air. She tapped her chest and questioned herself. 'Why is my heart beating so fast?'
Will their hearts reconnect if they meet again? Will Alaena recognized Liechael? SUPPORT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER!!!
