Savage: The Night Wizard - (A Harry Potter Fanfic)

I was an ordinary boy with a simple life... That is, until the day I died... and now I don't even know what is common in my life anymore! But in reality... I prefer it like this. Who would like to be normal if you could be a wizard? Especially if you're the greatest wizard ever! Well... I don't. ****************************************** Also help me in Patrë-on /Se7enX, there are advanced chapters for you and it motivates me to write even more. Salve krl, BR aqui pohaaa! Here's the new chapter!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sorting ceremony began after a while, with Sorting Hat singing a different song than the last time.

I paid attention to sorting as I wanted to memorize the names and faces of all the new students, something I intended to do every year as you never know when that little knowledge will be needed.

Of all the faces, only three of them had any relevance. Those relevant faces were Ginny, someone I already knew, Luna, who was very noticeable among the other first years for her hair embellished with dried leaves and sunflowers, and Colin, who looks just like the actor in the movies and was looking at everything with an excited look.

Seeing that excited look on his face, and knowing his personality, hobby, and obsession, I could only look at Harry with a pitying look.

As the ceremony continued, I heard some familiar wizarding family names, and realized that many of those first years who went to Slytherin had neutral or supposedly black families, but some also went to Ravenclaw and surprisingly or not to Hufflepuff.

"Lovegood, Luna!" Professor McGonagall called, and then I saw the dreamy blonde girl walk up to the stool with little bounces in her step.

"Hello Mr. Hat, today is a beautiful night, isn't it?" I listened with my enhanced hearing Luna speak to the Sorting Hat.

"Yes indeed my girl" the Hat replied.

Luna then sat on the bench and Professor McGonagall put the Sorting Hat on her head, and the rest of the conversation I couldn't hear as they were probably having the mental conversation.

"Which house do you think she's going to?" Anthony asked.

"RAVENCLAW!"

"Well I think that answers the question"

I saw Luna take the Sorting Hat off her head and get up from the stool with a happy smile on her face. She then returned the hat to Professor McGonagall and... and then she complimented Professor McGonagall's dress?

'Is it just me or did Professor McGonagall blush?' I realized.

Well, Luna then came hopping toward the Ravenclaw table and sat in a space left for the first years, with her waving at the ghosts along the way.

At the end of the ceremony, with all of us seated and with the Headmaster's opening speech over, we started to devour the food from the table.

And as I feasted on a plate of Lasagna Bolognese, which as I remember it was one of the recipes that I showed the elves last year, I saw Professor Snape enter the Great Hall with a scowling face, however I could feel the feelings of happiness and satisfaction that came from him.

He then went over to the staff table and spoke to the Headmaster and Professor McGonagall showing them a newspaper, and after a little chat Professor McGonagall got up and followed Professor Snape out of the Great Hall.

'To Harry and Ron, may their souls rest in the beyond' I thought in my mind as I felt the anger that was coming from Professor McGonagall.

'Wait... Dammit, I just remembered that they won't lose points, they'll just get detention' I thought, almost palming my forehead, 'Well, at least there will be other ways to make Gryffindor lose points. .. Although it won't be necessary, since the trio probably won't receive points for solving the secret chamber problem'

"Would you pass me that cherry pudding? It's good for stopping the dizziness caused by Big Nose Spins" Luna, who was a few seats away, said to Michelle Foster, another first year.

This girl then looked at her strangely as did other students around her, but some looked at Luna curiously, especially the muggleborns.

"That girl is a little weird," Michael commented, and before I could say anything in her defense, Anthony spoke up.

"Michael, you compliment yourself while looking in the mirror... For THREE minutes, you don't have much credibility to call someone a stranger"

As soon as Anthony finished speaking, my friends laughed as Michael looked away in embarrassment.

'Three minutes?! How narcissistic must someone be to be praising themselves for three minutes? The most I can get is two minutes' I thought, looking at Michael critically and a little impressed.

At some point during the banquet the Headmaster got up and left the Great Hall, probably to solve the flying car problem, and after a few minutes he returned happily chatting with a frowning Professor Snape.

At the end of the banquet the Headmaster stood up and gave his closing speech, and he then dismissed all the students to their dormitories.

I then saw Andrew get up and I realized he had a prefect badge on his robes.

"How did you become a prefect?" I asked as he was passing me.

"What is that supposed to mean?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well... It's just that you're kind of..." I started to say.

"What he means is that you don't seem responsible enough to be a prefect," Penelope said, joining in the conversation, and I also noticed the prefect's badge on her robes.

"Well, I wasn't going to say it in those exact words, but that's almost it" I shrugged.

"I am responsible!" Andrew defended himself, and we looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "Well... I can be responsible when I want to."

"Hmm, shouldn't Robert be the sixth year prefect?" Anthony asked, "I mean, as I recall, he was the fifth-year prefect last school year"

"He said he wants to focus on studying for his NEWTs next year" Andrew shrugged, "Now excuse me, as I need to guide our young eagles..."

"Ravens" I corrected him.

"Ravens" he continued without missing a beat, "To our incredible Ravenclaw nest"

"But shouldn't that be the work of the fifth year prefects?" I asked.

"Do you think I'm going to miss the chance to indoctrinate... I mean, to enlighten our eagles in the path of the wise?" Andrew asked, and my friends and I started looking at him with blank faces, and Penelope by my side just rubbed her temples.

"I'm going to regret letting him talk me into this" I heard Damian Perriss mutter, and I realized he's the fifth year prefect who should take the first years to the common room, "Actually, I already regret it"

"It's too late to go back on the deal now," Andrew said, and without wasting any more time he turned and headed toward the poor, helpless first years.

"I guess I should be grateful he hasn't been a prefect last year," Sue commented, and we all nodded unconsciously.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arriving at the common room my friends and I started talking about the flying car incident, as we had heard about it as we walked down the hall on our way to the common room.

And not so surprisingly, who is spreading this gossip around the school are precisely the Gryffindors themselves, since for them, flying across london to school in a flying car and crashing into the Whomping Willow is something so great that it deserves recognition.

Gryffindors really need to revise their concepts of what is some great feat and what is a stupid feat.

When it was getting late, the prefects sent us to our dorms, which now weren't the same as last year.

In my room, just like last year, I started redecorating it, expanding it and adding furniture.

In the end, when I saw that my room was the way I wanted it, I changed into my nightwear and climbed into my bed for a good night's sleep, as I knew the remainder of my days in school would be quite busy.

End.

(End AN: Hello my dear and beautiful readers!

Tomorrow I'm going to buy the chocolates with my sister that we're going to use to make my family's Easter eggs.

This Easter is going to be different from the others because one of my sisters is moving out of the house to live with her boyfriend, and my OTHER sister found out she's pregnant.

With that, I'll probably be an uncle to 4 kids! A very different Easter...

Hope you enjoyed the chapter!)
