Kanaru saw how the knights managed to surround the place with the big plants to spread the flames. However, he was more surprised how his steel gauntlet also blazed in white fire, even burning his hand slowly. He would put out the fire, but the blazing steel claw was shredding through the stone giants' defenses. He'd just ask Fenris to heal him if it got really bad.
After he took down the tenth stone giant he fought, Kanaru huffed and got on the ground. He panted in exhaustion, running out of steam. After all, he was not used to long fights—only ones done in minutes. He then saw how a stone giant cast a shadow on him.
"Look away!"
Fenris shouted, and Kanaru covered his face with his right arm. Despite the cover, he saw how intense light flashed behind the stone giant. When Kanaru brought his eyes to the stone giant, the head and chest were already missing. It happened for seven more in the line of fire.
