CHAPTER 9 INVESTIGATION SHINHWA'S BACKGROUND

JIWOO- Sam are you sure you don't have to go see a doctor.

SAM-nope I am fully recovered

JIWOO-wooin can I ask you something how come you didn't join the union?

WOOIN- when I was young I was used to hiding my powers while living at the orphanage. luckily I met my professor, but we had to wander from place to place. I've always been cautious of what others would think.so I was never able to make decisions on my own.

WOOIN-before I ended up alone without a choice from now on I want to be my own decisions. if I join

a group, I'll have to continue to be cautious of what others think.

JISUK-I understand.

me, jiwoo and wooin we three look at jisuk with question face

SAM-(what did you just say?!)

JISUK-WHAT?!WHY?! WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT?

after jisuk and wooin left for their home and after dinner me, jiwoo and Kayden to the basement to use force control.in the morning

JIWOO- ahh-! huh? Mr.kayden are you done as well?

KAYDEN- that's right

JIWOO- since I'm now able to gather my awakened powers morning and night, thanks to the method you taught me, I feel refreshed all the time.

KAYDEN-did you except any less it was I who created it. anyway, you're using the method with every given chance, right?

JIWOO-of course! whenever it crosses my mind. well obviously not when other people are around.

KAYDEN-hmm...

and kayden, jiwoo left the basement and if you ask why anyone talks to me well I told them I'm going to upgrade my powers level and it takes 16 hours with Kayden's force control so don't disturb me while doing force control.

SAM-(finally 16 hours complete oh it's 5 pm well time flows fast when you doing force control)

then I come to the living room and see kayden eating his cat food jiwoo making a cute face after kayden finished his food jiwoo explains about awakened academy etc

KAYDEN- so, jiyoung what's you and sam to participate in the new awakened Academy as independent members with their sponsorship? that means only members of the awakened groups are allowed to enter, originally.

JIWOO-yeah

KAYDEN-Shinhwa is doing you both a favour. she probably didn't explain it to you but the requirements must've been strict to participate...

JIWOO-how special is it?

KAYDEN- you said only two to three members from each group will come, right? that means that, 're the star pupils of their group.

jiwoo look a little panic

KAYDEN-like jiyoung said it'll be helpful to you both. There's a lot of crazy freaks among the awakened ones. it'll be a good learning experience for you to encounter those freaks firsthand.

JIWOO-haha

KAYDEN-jiwoo I know I've said all these things but you already know what my answer is, right?

JIWOO-your answer, Mr.kayden? Do you mean to do what I wanna do?

KAYDEN-yeah, you know very well.

jiwoo and kayden both give a smile and after dinner, we do force control to the morning

JIWOO-Mr.kayden

KAYDEN-huh?

JIWOO-i thinks I'm gonna participate in the awakened Academy.

KAYDEN-you've decided?

JIWOO-yeah.

KAYDEN-turn off you go.

SAM-i also participate

JIWOO-really? wow that's good! I feel much better now. I was worried since I don't know anyone there.

hehe...let's go feed the cats and head to school.

I just nod and we left for school and in the way, we meet wooin

JIWOO-wooin! what's up? did you decide to feed cats on your way to school too?

wooin-yeah when I have time.

JIWOO-then we probably run into each other every morning.

JIWOO-wooin.I talked to jisuk's sister yesterday. she told me about this awakened academy that going to open soon in Korea. she asked me if I and sam want to participate as non-members.

WOOIN-Mr.Park suggested it to me too.

JIWOO-really? as a non-member?

WOOIN- yeah originally, it's only members of awakened group who can enter but the union will help.

JIWOO-so you were invited too. what are you gonna do? are you gonna participate?

WOOIN-i'm thinking about it. Mr Park said I should give it a go because it'll be helpful for me.

JIWOO-yeah jisuk's sister said that too

JISUK-what did my sister say?

JIWOO-she told me about the awakened academy yesterday.

JISUK-oh, that?

JIWOO-you know it too? oh of course you would.

JISUK-i just knows that it's newly opened. Korea's awakened groups used to hold meetings with their successors. I guess it's similar to that. I went there like once or twice when I was little. haven't been there in year's.it's, not my thing.

JIWOO-so there was something similar. you're going to participate, right? you're the strongest of Shinhwa members among your age group.

jisuk blushed and reply

JISUK-well that"s true actually, I'm not only the strongest in Shinhwa but among other groups too. it's a bother to say the obvious.

JIWOO-whoa. jisuk you're awesome?

JISUK-but I'm not participating I can't be bothered.

JISUK-you're not? that's too bad.

JISUK-what's too bad?

JIWOO-me and Sam gonna enter the Academy

JISUK-what?

JIWOO-your sister told me yesterday that she'll let me and say enter as non-members.

JISUK-hm...

JIWOO-wooin got an offer from the union too. but he's still thinking about it.

WOOIN-i'll go

JIWOO-huh?

WOOIN-if you're and sam going I'll go too.

JIWOO-really? that"s good! I get another friend I know there. jisuk, you come too!

JIWOO-join us yeah?

JISUK- jeez, you're bothering me...since you guys are begging me, I can't turn you down...and I do have a position in Shinhwa...I guess I'll go.

jiwoo give a big smile and said

JIWOO-YAY!!

after school was over jisuk and wooin left for home, me and jiwoo also left for jiwoo's house. after we enter the house two guys lying on the ground and kayden says they, are not robbers he thinks they come to investigate jiwoo and call Shinhwa for help. after inhyuk came and take those two guys for further investigation and I jiwoo trained our physical strength in the basement and jiwoo break his record and maintain high speed for six seconds.after we come to the ground floor for fed the cats. just outside the basement door cats are waiting

JIWOO-you guys hungry? eat up

then we hear Kayden'ss laughing from the basement HE HE HE HE and DING DING DING DING door bell jiwoo open the door

JIWOO-huh? Mr.Goo? what brings you here at this hour?

INHYUK-i'm sorry to bother you at this time. but I have something urgent to tell you.

JIWOO-please, come in

INHYUK-yes but I have company. would that be okay?

JIWOO-company? huh? Chairwomen?

after inhyuk and jiyoung sit on the sofa with three cats kayden also come and me, jiwoo and kayden sit opposite the sofa then jiwoo asks

JIWOO-um... so what brings you two here?

INHYUK-oh, we came to talk about what happened earlier this afternoon.

JIWOO-oh...

INHYUK-we found out who the men were.

jiwoo said in surprise

JIWOO-already?

INHYUK-yes. they were Shinhwa's people.

jiwoo is shocked and ask

JIWOO-what do you mean...?

SAM- Shinhwa is a big group. so within the group, there are big and small factions led by different leaders. one of them chairman lee ordered his people to get their hands on jiwoo"s information.

after hearing my explanation everyone look surprised

INHYUK- how did you know?

SAM-huh?o,h I saw one of them in Shinhwa and for confirmation,n, I check his identity and background and find they are chairman lee's people.

CHAIRWOMEN- I apologise. it's all my fault.

JIWOO-huh? oh, n-no. it's not like you did it jiyoung...I-I mean chairwomen.

INHYUK-since chairwomen took matters into her own hands and warned them sternly in person, this won't happen again.

jiwoo look sad and said

JIWOO-um...it's fine really. nothing bad happened anyway I should be the one apologizing. I don't know much about what's going on inside Shinhwa, but at least I know this happened because you two were only trying to help me. please don't apologise. honestly, I'm thankful to Shinhwa. especially to you two.

inhyuk blushed and said

INHYUK-jiwoo...

CHAIRWOMEN- T-then we'll get going.

INHYUK-right! it's really late.

JIWOO-you're going?

INHYUK-yes. sorry for the late visit.

JIWOO-don't worry about it, see you soon.

and inhyuk and chairwoman left. The next day after school wooin come with us and we tell wooin about what happened yesterday. in the evening jisuk come with two plastic cat food

JISUK-guys, I'm here!

JIWOO-hay! you're here.

and wooin wave his right hand to jisuk but jisuk didn't even look and wooin look a little sad

JISUK-I've brought you guys all kinds of snacks. if you want line up!

jisuk look at the black cat and said

JISUK-that one's sleeping again. I told jiyoung I'll attend the Academy. unless something comes up, it's certain I'm going.

JIWOO-i sees that's good.

JISUK-huh? what's wrong? you seem so down.

JIWOO-huh? do I nothing happened.

jisuk close his face to jiwoo"s and said

JISUK-Mr.smiley face's got a long face today. and you say nothing happened.

WOOIN-somebody broke into jiwoo's house the other day.

JISUK-WHAT!YOUR HOUSE GOT ROBBED?

WOOIN- it wasn't robber one of your people broken in to investigate jiwoo.

JISUK-by our people you mean...SHINHWA?REALLY?!

WOOIN-yeah.

JIWOO-haha...

JISUK-hey, how can you be laughing right now? jiwoo, why didn't you tell me?

JIWOO-it's not a big deal. when we came home, the intruders have knocked out already.jiyoung and Mr.goo took care of it. from this incident, I found out only a few from Shinhwa can participate in the Academy. I heard that everyone placed in a lot of effort to attend...after hearing that, I wasn't sure if I had the right to participate

after hearing jisuk left and also wooin left after jisuk.10:34 pm jisuk come and explain to jiwoo that don't feel sorry for participating in the academy and there's a policy that requires some independent awakened one's like jiwoo and me to attend jiwoo didn't steal anyone's opportunity so thare's no need to feel sorry.jiwoo give a big smile and jisuk left.next morning we got a call from inhyuk to came to Shinhwa for meet other participants.

sorry for the short and late chapter.actully I lost someone today so I don't want to write this chapter but my sister's insist he not gonna come back if I don't write it.i try to make long chapters from tomorrow and again sorry if you don't like the chapter I start academic chapter from tomorrow so wait for tomorrow
