Chapter 23 Su Yu Kisses Vivi, Juvia Explodes

"Hey Ms. Robin, have you thought about switching jobs? Our guild, Fairy Tail, treats employees better than your previous job at Baroque Works!" Su Yu invited again.

Another moment of silence.

Robin sighed deeply and shook her head slightly, showing that she was deep in thought.

Even though she was smart, she hadn't considered this option before.

Joining Fairy Tail seemed like a great opportunity, but there was a catch.

She had come to Alabasta to work with Crocodile, not to align with another group.

There were also other factors to consider.

"President Su Yu, now that you know who I am, I want to be upfront with you. I'm a troublesome person, and if you invite me to join your guild, it may cause you a lot of problems," said Robin seriously.

Su Yu Haki replied with confidence, "That's not an issue at all. Fairy Tail isn't afraid of trouble!"

If Fairy Tail was afraid of trouble, it wouldn't be Fairy Tail.

"Every member of Fairy Tail is like family to us, and we will always protect our own. That's what being part of Fairy Tail means," Su Yu said.

Robin murmured softly, "The concept of family seems too far-fetched for someone like me who's given up hope."

"No, never mind what I said. I have to admit that your offer, President Su Yu, is very tempting. However, if I decline without any proper consideration, wouldn't you think that I'm a flippant person?" Robin said, expressing her hesitation and concern.

Su Yu's sincere response caught Robin off guard, and she couldn't help but feel touched by his honesty.

It was clear that Su Yu genuinely wanted her to join Fairy Tail, unlike any other organization she had encountered before.

"Of course, I don't expect you to give me an answer right away. Ms. Robin, take some time to think it over for a few days, and let me know when you're ready," said Su Yu, giving Robin the time and space she needed to make a decision.

"Are you letting me go just like that? Don't you want information about the boss?" Robin asked.

"It's not necessary," Su Yu replied, waving his hand nonchalantly. "However, I do have a request for you, Ms. Robin. Please deliver a message to your former boss for me. Let him know that he has three days to turn himself in to the Marines. If he refuses, I'll have to take matters into my own hands!"

"I see!"

After Robin left, Nami, Vivi, and the others were left in a state of confusion.

They looked at each other, unsure of what to do next or what had just transpired.

It felt like they were missing some crucial information, while Su Yu seemed to know something that they didn't.

"President, have you achieved your goal?" Erza asked.

"Um" Su Yu nodded. "We'll just have to wait and see what happens in three days"

Nami and Vivi didn't ask any further questions, but they felt a sense of calmness despite not knowing what Su Yu's true intentions were.

They decided to trust him and wait for the three days to pass, as Su Yu had instructed.

The next morning, Fairy Tail set sail and headed towards the port city of Narohara, near the border.

They stocked up on supplies for three days before setting sail again, following the San Dora River all the way up until they finally stopped along the east coast.

"Princess Vivi, Karoo, and I will return to Alabasta first to report to the king,"

After saying that, Igaram rushed towards the capital on the running duck, Karoo.

Meanwhile, Fairy Tail continued sailing away from the shore until they reached the center of the San Dora River.

"This is probably the center of the entire Alabasta, but President Su Yu, what is our purpose for coming here?" Vivi asked, looking puzzled.

"Rain!" Su Yu said casually.

"The root cause of the civil strife in Alabasta is due to successive years of severe drought. So, my purpose for coming here is to give Alabasta rain that will cover the whole country!" Su Yu explained further.

Vivi: "!!!"

Su Yu believes that the civil strife in Alabasta is caused by the long drought.

He plans to make it rain across the entire country to resolve the issue.

However, rain is not something that can be controlled by humans, so it remains to be seen if this plan will work.

"Juvia, let it rain!" Su Yu said.

"Yes, President~" Juvia agreed.

Juvia is a talented water mage who has had her abilities since she was young.

However, due to her lack of control, it would constantly rain wherever she went.

For Juvia, rain is as natural as everyday food. With her magic, she can make it rain at will.

As Juvia's magic engulfed the area, the once clear sky turned cloudy and rain began to pour down heavily.

"It's really raining, this... this, this... what is it..." Vivi was amazed by what she saw right in front of her.

"Juvia, keep broadening the range!" Su Yu said.

"Yes, President~~"

Juvia used her magical abilities to make the raincloud expand quickly in all directions.

However, there was a limit to how much she could do at once.

Even though Juvia and her companions in Fairy Tail had unlimited magical power, they still had limits on how much they could output at a time.

This was a surprise even to Su Yu, who had boasted about creating rain that would cover the entire country.

"In this case, I can only try that trick!" Su Yu approached Vivi, who was in a state of shock. "Vivi, if we want this rain to cover the entire country, we still need your help!"

" I am willing to do anything as long as it means it will rain!" Vivi exclaimed with determination.

"Are you truly willing to do anything?" Su Yu asked with a serious tone

Then, Su Yu suddenly lowered his head.

Su Yu surprised Vivi by kissing her in her lips without warning.

Vivi's eyes widened in shock, and her body became tense.

Juvia, who loved Su Yu, was also startled and enraged by the sight of him kissing another woman right in front of her.

Juvia's emotions erupted like thunder, causing the raincloud to expand rapidly and cover the entire Alabasta in one fell swoop.
