Chapter XXIV
It took three weeks for his request to change his duty to his wife's house to be authorized. His wife has been taunting him about what they discussed for two weeks, so she must be overjoyed with the news he will bring home. This was the first time he requested a transfer to another destination; it was a little tough because all of his colleagues had already become his buddies at Base. It's a new agreement with new coworkers, but it's a huge favor for him and his family, especially his wife, who adores him. He believes he will save a lot of time in his wife's home. He is staying now and will be able to finish building their house. Her in-laws are also in favor of it, but they are not making the decision for him.
