Chapter XXIII
To welcome another new member of the family, the Datu arranged a feast. They invited close family members and friends. Her best friend is reportedly furious because she was not the first to learn of her pregnancy; their friend's OB-Gyn is also present, taunting her best friend even more. They were classmates and buddies while studying and remain so today. They are both the godmother and the OBGYN of her best friend's eldest child. The celebration ended with no one nominated name for the expected child; they didn't get along, so they left it up to the couple to choose the name.
