Reinforcements Arrive

"AHHHHH!!!" Bandits run around burning alive, some roll on the ground trying to put out the fire. A large field of burnt corpses lay scattered around. The bandits lucky enough to be out of the range of the blast look on in fear.

Corak stops running and turns seeing the sorry state of his men. Veins begin to enlarge on his face, the anger bursting out through his cosmo. " Worm when I get my hands on you I will skin you alive and make a rug out of your skin, mark my words!" Corak dashes towards the village ready to end the life of Ryuji.

After the effects of the explosion were seen Lance activates the barrier. A blue bubble forms around the village, covering the walls from further attacks. Galvin orders his men to catch their breath and make ready for the eventual battle to come.

Ryuji sits on the floor and begins to meditate to heal his wounds and regain all his lost energy. Corak appears up to the walls and begins sending infused kicks at the barrier. The kicks are blocked and the barrier continues to stand strong.

"Bastards! Stop hiding behind walls and face me in combat. Do you fear death that badly, that you hide like cowards?" Corak in anger yells at everyone in the village. Everyone sits and rests waiting for something big to happen that will change the course of the battle.

In the background, hidden from sight stands Gold Saint Virgo Shijima. He watches over the battle observing the actions of Ryuji. "His control over his cosmo is adequate, however he needs more training to utilize all of his cosmo to its fullest. I can see great creativity in him; his actions during the battle, setting up a trap while fighting to hide his scheme, he will be able to make decisions in battle that others would not think of."

"This battlefield will be useful to training his combat experience; as it stands now he is still a rookie in battle. The minions of darkness that are hidden watching this battle to make an appearance will be useful to understanding the level of battle he will experience in the future. I will stand in to save the boy when he is no longer able to protect himself."

Shijima stands up and looks out into the distance, in the air stands 6 figures clothed in black armor. Specters of Hades stand above the battlefield watching Ryuji and Corak's battle. "Fate is flowing around that boy there, I guess he is the target we are here to retrieve."

"Let's wait and see what this kid is all about, I see some fire in the kid he could become a mighty warrior for Lord Hades. If we bring him back Lord Thanatos and Lord Hypnos will reward us well, we might be able to get promoted to a higher rank. The specters stand in the air and conversate about what they will do once they complete their mission.

An hour goes by, everyone has recovered from their wounds and recovered their cosmo. Ryuji stands up and looks out towards Corak who has also recovered from the previous battle. They both begin to stare at each other, their will to fight each other again increasing.

Ryuji turns towards Lance and looks him in the eye. Lance can you open a small part of the barrier for me so I can continue fighting Corak. "I wish to challenge myself against him and learn from fighting him. "Take care of yourself, we won't be able to support you until the other's arrive." Lance uses the command point to open the barrier for Ryuji.

Ryuji steps out and runs over to where Corak is standing. "You finally ready to die worm, this time no cheap tricks will save you from me!" Corak dashes towards Ryuji and punches towards his head, the pressure from his cosmo presses down on Ryuji. With the weight of a mountain pushing down upon him, Ryuji burns his cosmo and moves forward. He moves at the last second to the left of the punch and then counters with a punch to Corak's gut.

Corak seeing the attack coming, reaches with his left hand and grabs the incoming punch. He kicks towards Ryuji's side landing the hit, sending Ryuji flying back. While flying back Ryuji gather's his concentration then flips to stabilize himself. He lands on the ground then runs back and kicks towards Corak's head.

Corak blocks the kick with his left hand, then grabs Ryuji's leg holding him in place. He punch's to the captured Ryuji confidante in injuring him. Ryuji drops his body to the ground the kicks up towards Corak's head with his free left leg. The leg connects with Corak's chin pushing him back, he releases Ryuji's leg and looks at him.

A trickle of blood can be seen leaving Corak's mouth; he rubs his chin then spits out the blood in his mouth. "Come on boy show me what else you can do!" He charges forward and the fight continues.

On the horizon, the sound of footsteps can be heard approaching the battlefield getting louder. Harvey and Quil finally arrive to the battlefield, their army of 3500 well rested and ready to fight. The fight between Corak and Ryuji stops as everyone looks over to the new additions on the battlefield.

"Harvey you coward so you finally decided to appear before me." Screams Corak as he looks out towards Harvey.

"Quil you lead the men to fight the army, I'll go and support Ryuji to defeat Corak." Harvey dashes towards Corak and Ryuji his cosmo heavy gather's up towards his fist. He jumps into the air and punches towards Corak, and heavy wave of cosmo charges toward Corak pushing him back away from Ryuji.

Quil and the army of villagers march toward the army of bandits and begin to clash, people dying left and right. Galvin nods towards Lance then looks towards his men, his puts his sword in the air. "CHARGE!!!" He screams as the barrier opens and the men inside charge out towards the battlefield.

Harvey lands next towards Ryuji; "You ready he is a tough opponent. I will attack him head on you distract him and cover me." Ryuji nods his head then gathers his cosmo.

Harvey charges towards Corak punching towards his head; Corak meets his attack with a punch of his own. As their cosmo clashes with each other Ryuji appears behind Corak and punches out towards him. Sensing the incoming attack Corak, stops his attack and puts up his defense. The might of the 2 attacks send him flying down to the ground creating a crater.

Harvey runs toward Corak and kicks towards his head, Corak dodges under the kick and kicks Harvey in the back sending him flying back. Ryuji comes up and punches towards Corak who is still bent low to the ground. He rolls to the left dodging the punch then jump towards Ryuji punching towards him.

A wave of Cosmo sweeps out smacking Ryuji back towards Harvey. Both sides stand there catching their breath observing the other side.
