I have seen complaints about the middle part of the novel, namely around chapter 60-70 some have said that it get too slow and I admit I made pacing mistakes there but the novel gets better right after and I believe some of the best content I wrote happens after that part so please make it through to join me and the rest of the readers on my journey. WARNING: I don’t write brain-dead characters. Romance and harem, which are not the focus of the story will take time. This novel was inspired by Soulsborne, all of it. **** 7 chapters/ week join my discord and become a Crestmaster: https://discord.gg/v7rsrySs 黑色台面

The departed

The young man and Aldrich walked over to the house in between, the young man went in alone and Aldrich waited outside.

He was actually a little nervous even though he knew what he was here to do. He just didn't know how to tell a man that his brother was dead.

Should he talk about Cazmer's oathbreak? It might seem like something that shouldn't be said but Cazmer was already dead, his family deserved to know the truth, right?

However, Aldrich didn't want Cazmer to be remembered as a madman. At least he didn't want to be the one to deliver this news.

Unfortunately there were many things that he did not want to do. Many things that he would rather not confront but here he was, it was something that he simply had to do.

Aldrich tried to think of how he should say it, but every time he tried to form some coherent thoughts they would scatter like sand castles in high tide.
