"Yeah,we just have to see this through. Then,we might actually be done" Droyle agreed.

"I think so,but we still have to be ready to take care of small time criminals" Sryia said.

"Of course" Mirai replied,cracking her knuckles. She was going for the fierce look,but her rough, morning hair paired with the baggy shirt she was wearing only made her look cute.

The sound of the door opening made Droyle and Sryia turn to it.

"Hey,how was your jog? Able to clear your head?" Droyle asked.

"Yeah,a bit" Eleanor replied, out of breath.

"We were just discussing —"

"Uhm,before that,can I take a shower? I feel so dirty" Eleanor said, interrupting Syria.

"Uh,sure. Go ahead" Sryia said.

"Thanks" Eleanor muttered before leaving the room.

"I think something's wrong with her" Mirai said after Eleanor had left.

"What do you mean by that?" Droyle frowned.

"You guys didn't notice? She was reserved and serious,and that's not the real Eleanor at all"

"So what if she's serious? She almost had a date with death last night,so it's perfectly normal"

"Whatever" Mirai huffed."I'm going to check on her" She mumbled, leaving the room.

Syria and droyle looked at each other and just shrugged as Mirai left.

"Knock knock,it's Mirai"

"Yeah,I'm taking a shower" Eleanor said.

"Yeah,I know"

"So?"

"Are you good? Like,are you alright?" Mirai asked.

"Why are you asking? Don't I look good?" Eleanor said softly. She quietly got out of the shower and leaned next to the door.

"To be honest,yes. You came in this morning with no joy on your face at all" Mirai said,on the other side."I'm just looking out for you,that's all"

"Well,thanks for doing that. I think I'm just dealing with everything: the stuff we did yesterday,the organs we saw in that box,the fire Mirai started. Everything's coming back now" Eleanor said softly."And I feel awful. We don't even know if that fire killed anyone"

"It didn't" Mirai said fiercely."So you don't have to feel sad about anything. If we could leave this issue to the cops,we would,but the system's broken. We have to do something about it"

"Yeah" Eleanor sniffled."Thanks,I really needed that"

"It's okay" Mirai grinned as she walked back to the living room.

The girls stayed in the hideout for another two days before returning back to their true base.

"We're back!" Mirai shouted as she entered the training gym."Damn,I missed this place"

"Hey guys?!" Droyle said, opening different rooms.

"Where the hell's everyone?" Sryia muttered. Her gaze drifted to a closed room by the left,which she decided to open.

"Surprise!!" A chorus resounded as streamers and balloons fell to the floor.

"Aww,guys" Mirai squealed."Y'all didn't have to do all this"

"It's the least we could do" Sofia smiled."We missed you all so much"

"We missed everyone too" Mirai said."But I missed you the most,baby. Thinking of your smile made me endure the torment" Mirai grinned.

"Would it kill you not to be weird everyday?" Jessica groaned as everyone burst into laughter.

"I missed you so much" Dryle said, embracing her sister.

"Same here" Droyle said softly,wiping the tears off her face.

"Enough of the sad stuff. We've got a cake and lots of food,so I say we eat" Amber shouted.

"Yeah!" The rest agreed.

"I've sent the feed from the cameras directly to the authorities,so we just have to watch as the underground business comes crashing down"

Within seconds,everyone was eating happily. The atmosphere was joyful with smiles on everyone's faces. They all seemed to know that their lives would never return to normalcy,but it wasn't a bad thing at all.

"Stupid idiot" Rita muttered as she checked her phone again."He told me to meet him here,and now,he's late. I wonder why he even called me out here?" She sat on a bench in the middle of a park. Birds chirping every second or so made Rita feel like she was one with nature,at least for now.

"Hey,sorry,I'm late" Herman said hurriedly as he rushed to her side.

"I was this close to leaving" Rita huffed.

"I'm sorry. I forgot something really important at home"

"Whatever,so why'd you call me?"

Herman remained silent for a while before taking a deep breath and uttering the words:"Will you go out with me?"

"What?"

"I said,will you go out with me,Rita" Cesar repeated.

Rita's face turned bright red as she tried to calm herself.

"That's surprising" She muttered.

"Yeah,I want you to be mine" He whispered.

"Okay,I'll think about it" Rita pouted, looking the other way. She didn't think she currently had the strength to face him.

"Okay thanks" Cesar said,glad he could finally get that off his chest."I also have something for you" He said, bringing out a white envelope from his pocket.

"What is it?" Rita asked as he handed it to her.

"Open it"

Rita carefully opened the white envelope and dipped her fingers inside.

"Is this?"

"Yeah,that's five hundred dollars"

"Wow, I didn't know you were rich" Rita chuckled.

"I'm not,but I can take care of myself pretty well"

"Uhm,thanks,but no thanks. I can't accept this"

"I knew you'd say that" Cesar sighed."Look,I know about your housing problem. So it's either you take the money or you come stay with me until you can get back on your feet"

"What makes you think I won't choose neither?"

"Because you can't. Your job's not paying you enough" Cesar smirked.

"Stalker" Rita hissed."How'd you know all this?

"Your co-workers are such great people. Also,I kinda tailed you couple of days ago"

"Yeah,that isn't a red flag at all" Rita said sarcastically.

"Whatever. You gonna take the money or not?"

"I'll take it,but I'm going to pay you back. I promise"

"You don't have to but okay I guess"

After a week passed,Herman and the rest of the dawns finally realized the influence of Netflix.

"We freaking just started advertising yesterday,and we've already sold more than half a million consoles. All in less than a day" Aevulis said in the online meeting.

"That's what's up" Threos growled."Makes me thinking about going back"

"Why don't we do it?" Fifth said."We should all be free right now"

"Well, I'm not" Sixth said softly."But I kinda miss throwing fireballs at second"

"Oh,you ain't gonna do that again" Kyle laughed.

"Them it's settled. Let's meet in rheurym in five minutes" Herman said,ending the call."Never thought I'd use it again so soon" He chuckled, grabbing his console. He plugged it in and wore the headphones over his head.

Immediately,he heard the familiar computerized voice.

"Welcome to Rheurym,Herman,the first dawn"

"Woah" Herman grinned as he appeared in the common room.

He was surprised by the large number of people in the room. He spotted a few old timers,but majority of the players were fresh.

"Kinda takes you back,huh?" Kyle said, appearing next to Herman.

"Yeah" Aevulis agreed.

"I think we should go on a quest that involves sex" Threos grinned."Been long I had those"

"I think we should show these new guys who the bosses are" Sixth smiled.

"Yeah" Seventh and fifth smiled.
