Eleventh hour

"Did you guys do it? Did you free the hostages?" Sryia asked shakily. Even though she didn't directly partake in the mission,adrenaline was still coursing through her veins.

"Nope"Mirai said simply.

"What?! That was the essence of this mission"

"No,it was a surveillance operation, remember" Droyle said."We were only supposed to plant cameras and microphones around the building"

"Well,did you do that?"

"Yeah" Droyle replied with a small smile."And I think we just killed two birds with one stone"

"What do you mean?" Eleanor asked exasperatedly.

"The cameras I planted are directly connected to my laptop,and they also have a small microchip in them"

"So what does that mean?" Mirai asked.

"It means that I can potentially broadcast the live feed of the cameras on the internet"

"Woah,that'd be huge? Can you really do that?"

"Yeah"

"But won't the cops be suspicious?" Mirai mused."I mean wouldn't they want to find out who put the cameras there?"

"Not to worry. No matter how much they try,it's not possible" Droyle said softly before leaning back. This was the most action she had had in a day,and she somehow liked it.

"Well, we're going back to the base now. Then,we figure out our next plan in the morning" Sryia announced, glancing at the tired girls."I'm really proud of you guys" She muttered softly.

After a ten minute drive,they finally arrived at the hideout.

"Hurry inside!" Sryia said as she stopped briefly.

"Where are you going to?" Mirai asked.

"Gonna look for a place to hide the car" Sryia replied as she zoomed off.

"Ah" Mirai sighed deeply."I want a hot shower and a twelve hour nap"

"Same,I call shower first" Eleanor said, rushing into the house.

"Hey!" Mirai barked.

"Just let her have it. You can be next" Droyle said.

"Look at you acting all mature. It really suits you" Mirai grinned.

"I guess" Droyle said dismissively as she entered the house.

"As of this moment, Netflix and rheurym are now partners under this contract" Zurich announced as he signed the paper in front of him.

"Thank you so much. I know you won't regret this decision" Herman said, shaking hands with him.

"I hope you're right" Zurich replied with a poker face."This is more to your gain than ours,so I really hope you're right"

"Hmm" Herman nodded with a smile as he tried to hold himself together."Sure"

"Excellent. We'll be expecting your first launch on our platform" Zurich said before leaving the room.

"Damn idiot acting like he's the boss" Herman muttered."One day,I'll show him how it feels like. Finley!"

"Sir" Finley replied, entering the room.

"Get the advertising department to send me all the designs they intend to advertise"

"Right away,sir" Finley said, leaving the room immediately. He knew Herman wasn't happy with the deal at all,but he just had to suck it up for the good of the business."We just have to do it" He thought,heading to the design wing.

Less than thirty minutes passed before Aevulis and the rest of the dawns scheduled a zoom meeting.

"Way to take charge,first" Fifth grinned.

"Sure. I still think we made the wrong decision though"

"You idiot" Seventh snapped."Has Netflix announced the partnership?"

"Yeah,they just posted it on Instagram" Herman replied.

"Check the company's net worth now" Seventh said.

Herman opened his laptop and quickly checked the price.

"Woah! So this is the power of a partnership" He gasped.

"How much?!" Aevulis asked.

"Three billion dollars"

"Well,how much was it before?"

"About seven fifty"

"Woah! That's what you call an insane rise"

"You're all welcome. I'm glad you're starting to see reason" Seventh said cockily.

"I'm just glad everything's going back to normal. It looks like some people are giving rheurym a shot as we speak" Threos said, glancing at his laptop.

"We're back in business,baby!' Aevulis cheered.

"Hey,why don't we all log in together. You know,like the old times" Fifth suggested.

"Hmm,I'm down for that,but maybe not today. I gotta book my flight to Japan" Seventh said.

"Why?"

"Because I'm richer now than I was an hour ago" Seventh chuckled.

Cesar also saw the post on Instagram and couldn't stop grinning. He knew people would give the game a try,and that would mean more fun for him.

He quickly called Rita to tell her the news.

"What?" She asked after answering.

"We gonna get a lot more buddies in rheurym" He said excitedly.

"Okay"

"Just okay?! Don't you want to play with other people that aren't me?"

"Well, you're right,but I told you that I'm putting Rheurym on hold for now"

"Oh,I see" He mumbled dejectedly."Can you at least go on a quest with me once in a while?"

"Yeah sure" Rita said."I gotta go now" She said,ending the call. She didn't want to tell him the real reason she couldn't play rheurym for this period,and the guilt was slowly getting to her. She felt like telling him all her problems even if he couldn't fix any of them."What is this? Why am I feeling this way?" She asked herself.

Cesar on the other hand was still grinning from the good news. He had cancelled his request to speak to Herman earlier,and now,all he wanted to do was to play some rheurym.

"Well,I assume you have a plan?" Mirai asked, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"Yeah" Sryia replied,staring out the window.

"What's the time?" She groaned, covering her eyes as the sun's rays entered the room.

"It's two in the afternoon" Droyle replied.

"What? Damn,I hope I didn't snore"

"You did,and it was really annoying" Droyle replied.

"I'm sorry" Mirai said softly.

"It's okay" Droyle grinned."It's actually kinda cute after I got used to it"

"Hmm hmm" Sryia coughed loudly to get their attention."I say we lay low for a few more days before returning. There's a lot of provisions here,so food won't be a problem"

"Okay" Droyle replied."Where's Eleanor though"

"She went out for a jog,said she needed to get some fresh air"

"I see. I think we're winning" Mirai said suddenly.

"Why do you say so?"

"This is gonna be the second underground operations we've shut down,and I honestly doubt that there's gonna be a third. Mafia dons won't deem this city a safe place to conduct business. Guys,I think we're almost at the finish line!"
