“Garrison got an MRI after you left the hospital.”
“Oh? I thought they didn’t know if they could schedule it so soon. And?”
“They found some white lesions in the MRI and the organization had to be notified about it this morning.”
“I know Garrison was complaining of some dizziness yesterday at the hospital. He’s going to be okay, right? Why didn’t he call me?”
Earl’s head furrowed. “I don’t think he’s happy with the results. So he’s still in shock.”
“Why? What’s wrong?”
“Caleb, Garrison will be fine. He needs rest. The doctors assured us in a few weeks he should be normal.”
“A few weeks?”
Earl faced Caleb. “I’m here to ask you to race in the 400. We need you to race in the 400.”
