Chapter two- trap

The ruffling of the leaves of the trees, the whistling of the wind and it's refreshing cool wave upon my face as if calling me to wake up, the sound of birds and other creatures made me feel at peace and as if in heaven itself.

The sun's light made me open my eyes. I blinked once, twice and the image before me still remains the same. I sit up and look around for a moment.

"What in the world is going on...Where am I?" My hand lands on something hard and rough. I glance down to see a book then everything that happened before came rushing back to me.

"This can not be happening." I tell myself, not believing that I may have went back in time. I shake head to the very thought of it.

I get up and start walking without a certain destination in mind. "This must be some kind of prank."

I flip through a few pages to see if I can find some information that can be of use to me even though I doubt that it could.

Time travel is impossible Allen! Stop with this nonsense!

I frown reading that a castle is located not far from where I am and that I should beware of traps and those on the look out since they don't take trespassers lightly.

I snort and shut the book close. "I wonder who set this all up." I began thinking of all the people who disliked me or liked to humiliate me. Now that I actually counted them, I have a lot of haters.

My ankle tugged along something, I looked down to see a transparent string. I was suddenly on a tree, daggers pinning me to it, from my shoulders and leg. My right shoulder cut by the dagger and bleeding.

"Holy shit!" I mustered out shocked by the unexpected attack.

I recalled that the book mentioned the presence of traps....but...

"Who's there?" A voice asked.

"It actually worked." Another mused.

They came out wearing clothes that obviously belonged to the old ages. "Who are you?" A man with long black hair tied in a high pony tail and sharp green eyes asked. His attire that of the Korean imperial era.

"Oh my." His partner mumbles opening his flower design fan to cover his lower face. His dirty blonde hair reflects the sun's light showing a few golden strands, his brown eyes are like most but yet enchantingly different. "What a beauty." I raise my eyebrows at his compliment.

"Are you deaf!? Answer me!" The black haired man is aggitated by my silence and continuous observations, better answer him before he takes out his katana.

"My name is Allen. I do not know how I stumbled upon your land for I only remember my name and nothing more." I partly lie since it would be hard to explain the actual situation and if I did they would hardly believe me so it would be better to hide the truth.

"Amnesia?" The blonde stares at me for a while as if trying to find out whether I really had lost my memories or not.

"You don't seem to be from here." The black haired one states out the obvious.

"Might be from the capital." The blonde approaches my hanged body and removes the daggers. I wince from the pain and hold on to my wound.

"Come along." The blonde motions for me to follow him.

"Mitsu! Our orders!" The black haired one argues.

"Riley it's fine."

It caught my interest how Riley is Korean and Mitsu is American yet if you only hear their names you'd think otherwise.

We walk for a while. I watched them cautiously, Mitsu ahead and Riley behind me so that I wouldn't be able to escape. I gazed up that is when the castle began to reveal itself.
