I jerked awake for the second time today, this time at the end of a sword being held by an orc. I saw his eyes widen in surprise and quickly rolled to the side. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the sword plunge into the ground where my head was a second ago.
I rapidly sprung to my feet and threw a punch at the orcs head. Surprisingly he managed to react fast enough to parry my fist with the sword, opening up a long gash along the back of my hand. I winced in pain and retreated a few steps.
The orc did the same as me and stood there warily with the sword held out in front of him. We stared at each other for a moment then he lunged, aiming to stab me with the sword.
I sidestepped and the orc lost his balance, not expecting me to react that quickly. I punched the back of his head and he stumbled a bit, dropping the sword.
I was a bit surprised that I didn't blow his head off with one punch then I remembered that I didn't have my old stats anymore.
I followed up with a roundhouse kick to his back but he managed to turn and catch my leg. I pushed with my leg and he went back into a tree.
I picked up the sword then went to stab him. Just before the sword reached him, his skin went a shiny grey colour and the sword bounced off him.
He pushed himself up and punched my chest. I didn't have time to react and was sent backwards crashing into a massive rock. I few pieces of rock crumbled off from the impact and I picked one up.
The orc charged. I waited until the last second then moved to the side. His fist hit the rock and his arm went in up to its elbow. I wasted no time and started smashing the rock on the back of the orcs head.
Surprisingly it only took a few hits and he crumpled to the ground. As he was falling the metal looking material that was covering his body disappeared.
I straightened up then took a look around. I was still in a forest but almost all of the trees I could see were dead. It was only then noticed the deathly quiet. No birds were singing, I couldn't hear any other animals at all.
[20 XP]
I immediately opened my status.

I noticed that the XP counter had gone up by twenty and I had four allocatable stats.
I wasted no time and put two into strength, one into vitality and one onto endurance. I did try and put one into intelligence but nothing happened.
My stats now looked like this,

I looked around, ready for another orc to come jumping out of the dead bushes. Nothing happened. I looked up at the sky and noticed it was the middle of the day with the sun high in the sky.
I decided to try and see if I could find more orcs to gain XP or find shelter for the night.
As I was thinking I was distracted by blood splashing on the ground. I looked at my hand and realised I had to bandage it or I would lose a lot of blood.
As I was looking around for something that would work as a bandage, my eyes caught on the loincloth the orc was wearing. I wrinkled my nose in disgust but ultimately decided to use it to wrap my hand. I had no choice, I had to use it or I would lose a lot of blood.
I picked a direction and started walking. As I was trying to find a way past the dead tree blocking my path I heard another "Bing"
"Because the inheritance has been bestowed by a person stronger than the god of this world, it will not be locked and the respective skills will be available for use"
I smiled as I looked at the messages. This would surely help me in this "tutorial".
I shivered as I remembered the overwhelming power the eye had demonstrated when I was in the void. Maybe that's why it was only the eye and not the full dragon, the void wasn't strong enough to withstand his full power.
Even with one eye though, the void had struggled to stay together and had started breaking apart the moment the dragon started talking. "I wonder will I ever get to be that powerful," I thought to myself.
As I was walking through the dead forest I heard shouts that sounded like they came from an orc. I stealthily approached the position I thought it came from.
When I got there I saw three orcs fighting what looked like a wolf apart from the fact that it was about twice the size of any wolf I had seen before I was killed.
I watched from behind a tree as the orcs barely managed to kill the wolf, though the wolf did manage to kill an orc during the fight.
One of the orcs went over to the wolf while the other went over to the body of their dead teammate.
I decided to attempt to kill then to see if I could gain XP. I waited until they were both distracted then started sneaking over.
