Chapter 101: That She Was Strong

When she looked up, Slate was standing above her.

"That's a weird question, people normally asks 'Are you okay?' first before any other questions," she replied.

Maybe because of what she had found out today, she didn't bother with the pain in her foot.

Slate frowned, "Where are you hurt?"

Amethyst smiled before pointing at her right leg.

He went over and checked it.

"Woah, that hurts," she exclaimed.

He glanced at her before carrying her, "Where's your key?"

She handed him and he entered her unit.

Upon entry, he felt nostalgic despite the fact that he really has no idea whether he had been there in the past.

He brushed this off because he still has a patient in his arms.

"What happened?" he asked as he set her down.

"I fell off the stairs," she grinned despite the pain in her foot.

Slate furrowed his brows, "Anyway, do you have any kit here?"

She nodded her head and pointed it to him.
