Chapter 100: Just Accept It

Amethyst released another sigh after being looked at by both Anna and Eduard in a way that she has no choice but to answer.

"It is already written there, I had to leave because staying won't help me heal. The reason why I had to leave Slate to someone else, instead of helping him myself," she started with a bitter smile.

"Your trauma returned?" Eduard asked after hearing what she had to say.

Amethyst smiled sadly, "I didn't expect that it would return as well. I only found out about it after everything was over."

"You found out about it on your own and you have decided to do things on your own. Amethyst, you could have called us," Anna told her as she placed her hand on Amethyst's shoulder.

"I know you were hurting as well. I was fine, that is the truth. I was able to handle it myself," she replied.
