the semifinals

With the semifinals under way let's have a word from our special guest the regional champion Cynthia,

" Thank you Mister Smith, now as you all know you are the next generation of the sinnoh League; as a result I expect nothing but the best from you," she began.

" but do not feel pressured to perform more than you are capable of." Said the beautiful blonde.

" is there any trainer who has caught your eye? " asked the man from the poketch company.

"... Well there is one, that boy named leroy Jackson has indeed caught my eye,"Cynthia said with a smile.

I couldn't help but overheat her comment wondering if this was going to make her one of my harem members.

" alright etsuko Eevee you two are up next." I said them I turned to jet.

" well begin training you to reach the stage of urshifu single strike type once we get done with this tournament the same goes for you etsuko." I said to the female kubfu.

After the break ended the match between Lucas and I began.

" okay go etsuko! " I called out and sent the female kubfu to the field.

" oh wow looks like Leroy had another one of those unique Pokemon. " said the announcer whose name was MC Jacob,

" and his opponent is Lucas whose Pokemon he will be battling with is His chimchar!," said the announcer. " who will come out on top now without further to do in the words of my brothers Pokemon Battle Hajimè.

" okay etsuko use endure and the go for a rock smash! " I called out.

Etsuko's body glowed red with energy as it built up it's defense, then it came at chim char with a left hook.

" chimchar block it with your forearm and counter with a uppercut then use flamethrower." Said lucas.

Chimchar did just that, but his punch did not connect with Etsuko's chin as the bear chopped the monkey's inner elbow then smacked him in the jaw with a cat hand strike,before using a powerful combination of spinning kicks to knock chimchar back,

" chimchar use flame thrower." Said Lucas.

" chimchaaaar! " the monkey cried out.

" etsuko now get in close used double team and end with a rock smash! " I called out.

Chimchar blasted a wave of fire at etsuko,

but etsuko moved fast leaving after images as the wave of fire came close upon her last Known position, as it made contact she vanished,

Then right as chimchar thought it had won etsuko landed a huge sweeping right hook that knocked the monkey's light's out.

However Chimchar wouldn't give up and suddenly it evolved into a monferno the Pokemon now had the power to take on etsuko so it attacked her with knew vigor,

but he failed to notice etsuko's fist shimmering and right as it came in close the She bear landed a ice punch to the monkey's jaw ending the fight,

" Return!" Lucas/I said.

" alright go poochyana." Said lucas.

" your up Eevee! " I said.

Eevee and poochyana faced each other the two growled and them the battle began poochyana dashed forward and made to use bite,

but right at the last minute Eevee swept the hounds legs with her tail using tail whip and latched onto the hound before flipping it over three times in a combination of suplexes,

" duplex city baby! " I shouted.

Poochyana lay dizzy but got up

" go to poochyana use roar! " shouted Lucas

Poochyana went to use roar,

However right at the moment it did Eevee grabbed the curr, flipped him into the air, leapt up and grabbed him from behind, she than span him around and slammed Him into the ground with a spinning upside down piledriver,

" heh I guess all that Fujitsu training paid of since my Eevee learned how to do a inazuna oogoshi, " I said with a chuckle.

The last match would be between his beautyfly and my starly the thing was they were both level ten but big Pokemon tend to evolve faster than traditional Pokemon do.

The two faced each other.

" Alright Beautyfly Use Your Sleeping Powder Attack! " Anounced lucas loudly.

" Starly use gust to blow it back then use sand attack and go in for the kill!" I shouted.

The bug Pokemon fluttered it's wings and sent a dusting of powder at starly,

but starly used a flap of it's wings to create a small gale force wind that blew the dust back at the butterfly Pokemon,

the bird then kicked up a sandstorm at beautyfly and created a cover as it came from behind and executed a drill peck to the Pokemon's back,

the butterfly fell to the ground unconscious and Lucas recalled it after which the battle was over.

I sighed good thing I had a strategy for that battle but I didn't expect chimchar to evolve into a monferno while etsuko battled it,

then again I also didn't expect Eevee to learn how to do an inazuna-drop in the midst of battle,

apparently she's been practicing in secret with starly while I'm not watching.

well in secret isn't right i did leave them to their own training for personal growth while i studied the scroll of darkness and the scroll of the waters apparently the scroll of darkness is all about Killing Intent and how to controll it so the user can use KI attacks,

meanwhile the Scroll Of The Waters is Based On The Concepts of the flow state and Conditioning Your Body's instinctive natural reflexes to enter the flow state,

a concept that spawned the idea of ultra instinct in animé Dragon Ball, the scrolls methods could be taught to any pokemon but they were the key for certain Pokemon, to evolve into more powerful pokemon,

As you know I planned on teaching jet the dark method and etsuko the water method so they can become stronger,

i also planned on teaching chimchar the dark method;

since I've already helped him learn to use his anger as a source of courage,

now he only needs to increase it and turn it into source of power.

After my battle it was Dawn and Barry's turn,

this would be a tough match for dawn since her starter piplup is a water type and Barry's starter is the grass type turtwig,

Meanwhile barry has the water type buizel and dawn has pachirisu the electric type, and finally berry has the normal type bidoof while dawn has the bug type warmple.

'unless dawn can pull a Caterpie plot armor stunt like the battle in episode three of the Gen 1 pokemon her warmple is toast.' I thought to myself

" dawn don't hold back, give it your best shot, and remember win or lose just have fun." I told her.

Dawn nodded.

" Alright go piplup your up," Called out dawn as she tossed the poke ball with her starter.

" Go turtwig, let's win this thing!" Barry said in response to dawn using her piplup.

" Hmm a grass type against a water type who will win?"

" my money is on the grass type!" Said one of the commentators

" What's your opinion Cynthia?" Asked Mister Smith.

" Although type factoring does play a key role in battles elements alone do not win a battle;" Cynthia began "but rather the result's of hard work and the synergy of a Pokemon and it's trainer in battle." She explained.

" So it all comes to a match that's a test of wills plus determination versus strengths and weaknesses." Said Mister Smith.

" It's Dawn Madison, versus Barry Adams for the second spot in the finals,Alright now in the words of my brothers and I," the MC said with a pause to build up the hype,

" Pokemon Battle Hajimé!" Shouted MC Jacob as he made a mad chopping motion with his hand.

" Go turtwig use razor leaf!" ordered Barry,

" Piplup use quick attack and peck!" Called out Dawn.

Turtwig swung the twing on his head sending four sharp leaf like shuriken at piplup but piplup pulled a DBZ style after image and landed a powerful peck to the turtle,

"Turtwig use vine whip!" Barry commanded.

" Piplup use iron wing!" Dawn proclaimed.

The vines launched from turtwig back and tried to whip at piplup as their names suggested,

But the tiny penguin moved fast as it's wings glowed and it stepped into a dash, there was the sound of a slash as piplup stood with its wings held out.

it stood five steps behind turtwig then the small pokemon fell to the ground outcold.

" Come back turtwig!" Said Barry calling it back into it's poke ball via the red laser beam.

" Now go buizel!" Called out Barry launching a weasel with a water floaty around it's neck.

" Okay come back piplup, now go pachirisu!" Proclaimed dawn.

" I'll win this round for sure Go Buizel Use Water Gun!!!" Shouted Barry and his starter fired off a stream of water.

" On my signal use thunder shock." Dawn told the shocking squirrel

" Wait for it pachirisu." Said dawn.

Pachirisu stood it's ground

The water came close.

" Wait for it." Dawn repeated herself,

The water came closer.

" Wait for it." She said for a third time.

The water was almost on top of pachirisu.

"NOW DO IT PACHIRISU USE THUNDER SHOCK!" Shouted Dawn and the pokemon blasted the built up electric current that danced across the water stream and shocked the piss out of that rodent.

The final battle was between dawns warmple and Barry's bidoof.

" Now bidoof get em use tackle!" Called out Barry as the beaver rushed the pack saddle.

" Warmple use your strong shot attack!" Ordered Dawn,

The Worm blasted it's string shot at the boy's Beaver and turned that Bastard into a Mummy as it was wrapped in a cacoon of silk.

' did I just predict the future?' I thought as that Pokemon did the same thing Caterpie did in Pokemon episode three.

Then Warmple took the joke a step further as it began to coat itself in a cacoon turning it into a Silcoon.

" Alright!" Said Dawn.

" Dawn wins." Said MC Jacob.

" And now we'll have thefinal round within an hour trainers take your Pokemon to the Pokemon center to rest up." Said Mister Smith.
